US Kick streamer provokes brawl in Thailand
IndomitableSpirit replied to george's topic in Thailand News
Those Kick streamers are in a different level of idiocracy. They will do anything to get the $$$. Nothing wrong with streaming and earning, but the contents and things they do will make you question many things.π€¦π»ββοΈ -
I was once there, not as a wife but as a fiancee. I was in my mid 20s, he's Lebanese and from a culture where they turn blind eye in women being beaten. I kept trying to leave but I didn't want to put my family in agony as I defended this man from them. No wonder my big bro didn't want him from the start. He was good to me on the first year, then when we got engaged that's when he started treating me like a punching bag. I would go visit my family wearing a hat because he would hit my head on the wall. I tried to call the police and he saw me, wrapped the telephone cord on my neck. I still stayed for 6 months more, imagine being black and blue then being ask to get up to make him coffee and food. It was hell but I couldn't easily escape. The last straw was when he kicked me both sides while on the floor, and I could see the fear of my cats hiding under the couch. I could also see my reflection on a nearby mirror. The moment he went out, I ran to our Thai landlady and just asked for help. Her along with a British-Thai couple in her office that day helped me. It was until the next day I called my family and my brother wanted to kill him. Sorry for the novel haha, just sharing why walking away isn't that easy. You always hope that he'll change, unfortunately monsters were born monsters.

Asking for Thai immigration's number when he also mentioned about having his c word, is a giveaway that this poster is just messing up for his own entertainment. That or just another dim π‘. It's not so hard to search for the numbers and more so when you have/know Thais to check it for you. Plenty of ways to do it, asking in a forum is just another, "look what I can do" moment.π

Warm castor oil every day/night, leave it on for 2-3 hours before washing, it can be left whole night too. It worked for the bald spot of my mom who's also in her 60s. However, it's also important to know if there's a deeper issue, maybe with her health? Best to still see a doctor about it then just add castor oil as homeopathic treatment.

The owner said if you speak Thai then get out!!
IndomitableSpirit replied to bob smith's topic in ASEAN NOW Community Pub
If you are a handsome farang, they would giggle at you speaking Thai. Most especially if you are young and handsome. I have seen that wayyyy many times. Sometimes they even forget the existing customer waiting to be served, because they are far mesmerized with a good looking eye candy of a farang speaking in Thai. It happened many times with me just standing and waiting, then they continue the giggle while talking to me as if pulling me for a girl-chat to talk about what just happened.π Bob, maybe she likes you and just didn't know how to express it!ππ -

My girlfriend/wife is 35 years younger.......
IndomitableSpirit replied to Carlotta's topic in ASEAN NOW Community Pub
I'm a woman but I don't see anything wrong with two consenting adults, they know what they are in for. I also don't see any objectification if you are a willing participant. I used to wonder as a young lady in my 20s why older men like younger women but never judged. Then it makes more sense now I'm 39 and hitting 40 soon, because I find myself getting attracted to younger men(at least 25+π). Oth, if I meet a man way older than me but we are in the same wavelength and all, then why not! Also, it's not nice to always assume that women going with older men are just for financial purposes. I get it, there are many but also not true in every case. Whatever the set up is, they know what they want and getting from it. If it works then so be it! If not...thank you, next!π Life is an endless loop of survival, you want to live longer then less on worrying about others' lives and never fix what's not broken. Focus on your own happiness and not frowning on others' happiness, so long there's no crime or illegal activity involved in their happiness though.π -
Kiwi Brothers Slapped With 5 Charges For Assaulting Policeman
IndomitableSpirit replied to webfact's topic in Phuket News
I think they've been hit on the head far too many times from boxing.π₯ No sane person would challenge a cop like that, let alone in a foreign country! -
The whole thing would still go down with them not following rules. The Thais commenting in YT news vids aren't mincing their words and painting "farangs" in one brush as evil in the society. It's already a big rule to avoid fighting with the locals, let alone did that to a police officer. It's like picking up a hammer and hitting yourself with it.
