In my POV, there's nothing wrong with being "woke" but being too woke is dangerous. There's a big difference in calling out the legit bad things you see and just calling everything bad regardless. The latter are the ones who raise the "card" in every chance they get without critical thinking. ????????♀️

Distraught Foreigner In Multi-Vehicle Crash In Chonburi
IndomitableSpirit replied to webfact's topic in Pattaya News
Foreigner or local, doesn't really matter when you're an @$$! We all have issues, but involving others including a child to your misery is hell-bound. ????????♀️- 97 replies

Belated HBD! If you feel good, content and happy then 50 is but a number. Each year is a blessing though. It's my last year in 30s, I used to think I will be old and wrinkly haha. Many think I wasted my life for not being married but those are the same toxic people I cut off from life. Surround yourself with people who aren't toxic, you are blessed each year with life not to live for others but to make the best out of your life! Do what makes you feel excited and puts a smile on your face, so long you're not stepping on others. ????????

Nigerian and 13 Thais arrested for operating romance scam
IndomitableSpirit replied to snoop1130's topic in Thailand News
They have been operating around Southeast Asia for awhile now. They used to be largely based in Malaysia. There's even a Thai woman who lost 4 million baht, a Filipina who sold her house to "help" the handsome soldier and one who believed she's in a relationship with Post Malone and gladly paid/lent him money.????????♀️ I feel bad for them as victims are usually those who lack love/intimacy, but their desperation is downright stupid! I receive friend requests every day from these SCAMbags on FB and IG. I played around with some just to check the pattern of their scam. When they think I'm falling already, I go on a crazy jealous gf rant haha. Then I ask them if they can lend me money because I need to fund my coffee addiction???? One was so mad he said I will be cursed with his voodoo and everyone in my family will die. I sent him Bible verses???? -
Restaurant owner confronts negative reviewer at their home
IndomitableSpirit replied to snoop1130's topic in Thailand News
You either give them a good review or just don't comment at all. That's how they want it to be. Even creative criticism won't do. Unless you ended up in the hospital because of their food, then you have no rights at all. Growing up in Thailand, I realized early on that it's better just to avoid conflicts with them because they can create drama that will take all of you in hell haha. Don't get me wrong though, I get along well with the Thais, they consider me as one of them, but it's all because I learned their A-Zs as a kid. -
Naked Foreigner Found Wandering Around On Pattaya Beach
IndomitableSpirit replied to webfact's topic in Pattaya News
He was sleep walking thinking he's in a nudist beach. ????????♀️???? -
I think the least Russians could do is to behave. They should be grateful Thailand is welcoming to them. British are rowdy only when they are drunk, Russians are built differently regardless of state. I have come across a handful of good ones, but that's because they just want to sleep with me. ????????♀️????????

Is it okay to lie to your partner of 5 years?
IndomitableSpirit replied to Isan Wanderer's topic in Marriage and Divorce
I understand. I was just suggesting something he could try since he doesn't want the relationship to end. But you're also right, sometimes the more you drag things, the worse it affects you mentally and emotionally, therefore just end it while you aren't too damage yet. -
Is it okay to lie to your partner of 5 years?
IndomitableSpirit replied to Isan Wanderer's topic in Marriage and Divorce
Hire a PI maybe? Don't go there on your own if you love your life. As a woman in my 30s too, we usually would lie about something if it's either too bad or we want to surprise you with something nice. Try asking her to go with you somewhere or do an activity at those times you know she plans to go to that "village". See her reaction, unless she's a serial/pathological liar you'd know instantly if she's hiding something. -
How to deal with a card game addicted wife?
IndomitableSpirit replied to Toughsituations's topic in Marriage and Divorce
Almost similar situation happened to my cousin who was married to a Thai man. She was playing cards with her friends every day for long hours, to the point after picking up my nieces and nephew from school, she'd take them along and come home near midnight on a school week! She kept doing it and like your wife would go crazy if confronted. It ended up in divorce, because my dumb @$$ cousin just won't stop. The ex husband is one of those hard working Thais who's family-oriented. She didn't need to work, but she couldn't even cook decent meals for her family. She was living like a single woman. Glad my nieces and nephew got their father's perspective in life. There could only be change, if someone is willing to change. If your wife won't put an effort, you will continue living in an unhappy marriage which isn't healthy for your child as well. -
Problem with increasingly aggressive & violent wife
IndomitableSpirit replied to JammG's topic in Family and Children
Would it still be possible to get her checked in a mental health hospital/facility? She might be suffering from something and her outbursts are indirect way of asking for help. There are people who can't express their emotions well and scared or embarrassed to ask for help directly. I hope she will be willing to get assessed. -
Collar up on Polo Shirt - Why?
IndomitableSpirit replied to EVENKEEL's topic in ASEAN NOW Community Pub
If I'm not mistaken it's the person who designed the tennis Polo shirt who started it. Its purpose was for tennis players not to get sunburn. Nowadays, I see Kanye sporting the collar up in so many weird ways.???? -
