Biden pardons Fauci, Miley and Jan 6 committee staffers!
uncletiger replied to riclag's topic in Political Soapbox
An interesting discussion on the legality of the pardons between Tylor Nixon and Samuel Terpening on X: The TL;DR: Samuel points out the historical precedents for preemptive pardons, and Tyler responds as to why this is different and unique. It is instructive to remember the pardon power of the presidency extends from his role as Commander-In-Chief, not as the chief executive of the country: Ford preemptively pardoned Nixon - Nixon already had presidential immunity, so the pardon was superfluous for public consumption, and the courts never took up the argument as to whether it was legitimate. Lincoln preemptively pardoned soldiers in the Civil war, and Carter preemptively pardoned Vietnam draft evaders - these were both done during a wartime setting, and were intended to heal wounds after the war was complete. This is exactly the context for which the pardon power was written in the Constitution Bush preemptively pardoned Caspar Weinberger over Iran-Contra - Weinberger was specifically indicted before the pardon, and the preemptive pardon, issued before the trial could begin, was narrowly tailored. Weinberger was not given blanket retroactive immunity for all crimes committed over a decade. Sadly, SCOTUS never took up the challenge to determine whether this pardon was, in fact, legitimate. In short, Tyler argues this is a very different situation, and the Constitution does not give the President to authority to elevate someone completely above the law. It's useful to read the exact clause which confers the power of pardon to the president to get context: Notice that the writers assumed this power would be used in the context of crimes committed during war, not ordinary, peace time criminal activity, which is why it is included as the right of the Command-In-Chief, not the President. Historical precedent has allowed this power to be used for non wartime crimes as well, however the US Supreme Court is not bound by precedent. They can reverse poor precedent at any time, and this particular case may be so brazen that they just might do that. -
Hi everyone, Does anyone know of a silk screen shop that can accept a PNG file and do a very high resolution screen print? The shops in the Rangsit area we have visited want vector graphics, and that is essentially impossible for this design. We tried several conversion utilities online, and even had a Thai try and convert the design for us, but the results are terrible. There is a lot of fine detail in the image. This screen print needs to be done in PMS 871C, so it can't be done by a digital printer. This is for my wife. The order is for about 100 shirts, and she's rapidly running out of time. Oh, and cost is obviously a factor. Does anyone know of a knowledgeable shop in the area that can handle a project like this?

I think not enough people understand exactly how much House Speaker Johnson firing Mike Turner from the House Intelligence Committee actually contributed to this ceasefire agreement. Mike Turner is an old school RINO Republican who was deeply loved by the Washington establishment. The Democrats were more upset by his firing than any Republican. But why? Apparently, Turner was trying to "stack the deck" on the Whitehouse Security Council. As Chair of the House Intelligence Committee, he had a lot of power to determine who was allowed to be on this council, and he was only going to allow in deep state loyalists. This would have effectively put him, and by extension the deep state establishment, in charge of how the US responded to the wars in Ukraine and Israel, rather than Trump. And this would have made it very difficult for Trump to enact his policies to force Israel to the bargaining table. Firing Turner not only sent Washington DC in to panic mode, but also forced everyone to accept Trump's cease fire deal. Beyond this, it removed the establishment's key ally in protecting the CIA and other intelligence services from Trump's restructuring plan. This is very likely why we have suddenly seen a large number of resignations in the past few days, as the reality of what just happened has set in within Washington circles. The Hamas-Israel ceasefire deal is just the first win that is going to come by Trump draining the Swamp. Swamp creatures on both sides of the political spectrum are starting to panic right now. Whether or not you believe Israel actually controls the deep state in the US, Mike Turner's firing is a big deal with huge implications, because at the very least he was very pro Israel. And almost nobody is talking about it. It was the key event in making this cease fire possible.

Democracy has failed the US,maybe it's time for a King
uncletiger replied to SiSePuede419's topic in Political Soapbox
One thing about the truth is it serves as a one way valve. Once you've recognized it, you can't go back. Which is why support for Trump is monotonically increasing. So by all means, take your time. The truth isn't going anywhere. It'll still be here when you're ready to see it. In the mean time, just know the craziness we've all seen over the past years is going to be ramped up to even more ludicrous levels, until the underlying reality becomes obvious to almost everyone. And as for whether or not democracy has failed, Kings aren't necessary and Trump isn't destroying democracy. He is, however, exposing that we've never actually had it in our lifetimes. -

I merely woke up earlier than you, that's all. You will too as everything is exposed. We are all victims of the globalists. When you're ready, nobody will shame you for taking an extra few years. -

Of course Trump will obey the US Constitution. He always has. If you think he hasn't, it's because you have been brainwashed to believe the propaganda the globalist, legacy media is feeding you. Again this is not a criticism. We were all asleep and believed them at one point. But each of us eventually has to accept how badly we were duped. -

uncletiger replied to SiSePuede419's topic in Political Soapbox
Lots of idiots have been brainwashed for the last several decades. So much so that they believe a politician actually fighting the deep state/globalist criminal syndicate is an "idiot". Why? Because the deep state controlled media that originally brainwashed them, tells them he's an idiot. And they mindlessly believe that. Then they call anyone that sees through the brainwashing an idiot in return. To be blunt, you, the rest of the world, have no idea what you are talking about. Because you are part of the mass brainwashing that has taken place. It's not an insult. All of us were at some point, and we all wake up at our own pace. But that brainwashing is coming to an end. We are living through a psyop. Things look stupid right now because they are supposed to look stupid. That forces people to confront their biases. Things are going to get even more stupid over the coming months. You have 2 choices. Try and understand what is really going on, or live in your little bubble, content not to think or challenge yourself, and honestly believe that one of the most powerful individuals on the planet, along with millions of people who represent a cross section of America, (including many that are very well educated) are just too ignorant to see what you see. We do deserve what we voted for. And if Trump succeeds in this plan to eliminate and arrest the deep state/ globalist criminal syndicate that has ruled and attempted to enslave this planet for far too long, then we will get it. If not or we're just plain wrong about Trump's intentions, then we'll keep searching. But if you think the rise of Trump is anything other than a carefully considered and intelligent choice, then YOU are the idiot. -
Palisades Fire in LA has zero containment
uncletiger replied to John Drake's topic in Political Soapbox
The vast majority of the homes that were destroyed in Pacific Palisades were priced $5 million and up. The actual structures however, were not particularly expensive. Most could probably be rebuilt for ~$400K. The cost of the homes was entirely in the property, which as you've just confirmed, the bank can easily reclaim. So the actual risk to the banking industry is very small, and effectively zero for homes with less than 90% mortgages. -
Almost, but it should be a consumption tax instead of an income tax. Everyone's allowed a minimum level of consumption per year tax free. After that, you pay on every item purchased. Billionaires don't "earn" anything. They get non taxable loans against their stock portfolios. Consumption taxes remove any incentive to play games with earnings, and even criminals have to buy things. It also simultaneously incentivizes people to make and do things for themselves rather than buying it. Honestly if a billionaire wants to live the same life as a pauper then there's no reason to tax them differently. But the instant he tries to cash in on it, he has to pay for the luxury.

Palisades Fire in LA has zero containment
uncletiger replied to John Drake's topic in Political Soapbox
A very interesting development: While everyone has been focused on the fires in California, Border Patrol has begun the process of deporting illegal immigrants throughout CA. They have started in Kern County, but have plans to extend the operation to other areas throughout the state. https://calmatters.org/economy/2025/01/kern-county-immigration-sweep/ The agriculture industry in CA is in turmoil. According to the above article, oranges are unpicked and will eventually start rotting on the trees. While I would never suggest the arsonists "climate change" who set the fires in Los Angeles were coordinating with a larger plan by the government, (because that would be a conspiracy theory and I know how much people on this forum eschew conspiracy theories), let me just say it is very convenient timing. Almost as if one event was designed to give cover for the other. None of the wealthy, Hollywood elite are concerned about the status of the illegal aliens right now, as their multi million dollar mansions are under threat, and the fires have kept this completely out of the news cycle. So much for California as a sanctuary state. An operation of this scale must have been planned for months. Convenient that the US Border Patrol magically picked the perfect time to begin these operations. -
Nobody is Sane Washing anything though. Merely pointing out that if you try to interpret all of this nonsense in isolation and as organic in nature, rather than part of a larger, deliberate operation to achieve something, you are never going to understand what is happening. There is too much evidence these events are all part of a very long running psyop that's been going on at least the past 8 years, and has possibly even been in planning since JFK was assassinated. Don't allow yourself to be biased by emotion. I don't like being manipulated either, but that is what's happening, and it's all leading us somewhere. It's just the end goal that remains elusive.

And yet, for all that Trump is still your president, because the American people, know all of the claims you just mentioned are completely bogus. Just fabricated charges and politically motivated slander. All the corrupt politicians, media, law enforcement and judges in the world can push any lies they want, but ultimately they can't keep honest Americans from recognizing the truth.
-
I would just like to say: 1) Now that this is finally over, Trump will appeal and it will all be thrown out, so in the end nothing was accomplished. 2) How awesome is it that now America now gets a president with "street cred"? I find it amusing anyone thinks this means anything. Trump will still be your president. It is just one more event that will lead to the censure of the extremely corrupt judge Juan Merchan, and the exposure of all the corruption and criminal activity within the SDNY court system. History will record Trump as being politically persecuted by a faction of criminal globalist elites.

Interesting thoughts on this subject. Thank you for the replies. After watching how all this has developed, I personally am inclined to believe Scott Adams (of Dilbert fame) got closest to the mark of what is happening. Trump is simply breaking the fake news. With a few days perspective, I tend to agree that all of this is just distraction and misdirection. But I thoroughly discount that it is any kind of nefarious plot or dark agenda by Trump to steal wealth. What's going on here is a psyop much bigger in scope and with much larger consequences for humanity than a few dollars or resources. That is way too boring and menial for an operation that took this much planning and coordination. Expand your thinking. Whatever is coming, it's going to be bigger than any of us can imagine.

One of the most important aspects of understanding a system is in being able to collect reliable data. For the at least the last 50 years, the data we have been fed by the globalists attempting to engineer a society amenable to their control with humans existing merely as mindless automotons ruled by fear, has made things appear as if they are too complex. The reality is that we have been manipulated with constructed falsehoods that are impossible to comprehend, because at their core they are necessarily illogical. As an extreme example of this: how can you understand society when you are told, and some people actually believe, that kerosene from aircraft and a few office fires brought down 3 steel framed buildings perfectly symmetrically into their own footprint at freefall speed? Internally, we all know this is nonsense, but we struggle to make sense of it because we don't want to believe the alternative. But the alternative is the truth. We are constantly being gaslit and manipulated to believe that things are much more complicated than they really are, and we are taught to distrust theories about occurrences that need to be considered. So it only APPEARS that things are becoming too complex, because we are having to sift through more and more noise and intentionally unreliable data. This serves the agenda of a few globalist, wealthy elite, but it doesn't help us deplorables to understand the purpose and patterns of how things function together in modern society. That doesn't mean that individual fields of expertise are not narrowing. Of course they are. People will continue to understand more and more about a smaller and smaller niche. But the stress and uncertainty you are ascribing to complexity, is in fact because we are being intentionally persecuted by a select few who are trying to enslave us and break us as a species. Manipulation and false data is the essence of our problem. So no, human existence isn't too complex. But for the next year or so, as the psyop we've all been living through finally starts to reach its zenith and we move into the declas and disclosure phase of the coming (mostly) scripted events, it's going to feel as though it's gotten completely incomprehensible. But for our grandchildren, even though technology will continue advancing as always, normal, every day comprehension of human existence and the social motivations that tie it together are going to be radically simplified.

Wll Donald Trumps Criminal Conviction Be Reversed?
uncletiger replied to Yagoda's topic in Political Soapbox
Not only will Trump's conviction be overturned on appeal, but Merchan will be censured for the blatant and outrageous bias he displayed during the trial and in his instructions to the jury. Further, the extreme corruption of the SDNY courts will be exposed, resulting in a national spectacle of embarrassment. -
Merchan has signaled in his written opinion that President Trump will face neither jail time nor penalties at his sentencing next week, but instead grant President Trump a conditional discharge whereby a case is closed without jail time, fine or probation. This will finally allow Trump to appeal the charges, which given all the corruption during Trump's show trial, will ultimately remove the conviction entirely. Hopefully. once the appeals court has ruled on the matter, it will lead to the censure and removal from the bench of Merchan.

Yes Danes. The man who wrote the Art of the Deal is coming after Greenland and he's serious this time. Looks like you're going to have to surrender that prime piece of real estate. Don't feel bad though. The US will also be annexing Canada, and wrenching the canal back from Panama. Obviously more is going on than meets the eye. I'm not taking any of these statements at face value, but Trump doesn't just make stuff up for the fun of it. There's a purpose to all of these statements, even if that purpose is something other than what he's saying directly. So any speculation as to why Greenland matters? What is hiding in or under there? https://truthsocial.com/@realDonaldTrump/posts/113698764270730405

Trump’s big fat abject lie …and why he keeps telling it.
uncletiger replied to Red Phoenix's topic in Off the beaten track
The other thing, which could change it quicker, is finding out that papers/data you trusted are in fact fraudulent. Don't underestimate the seriousness of scandals, such as those involving prestigious university professors and even Stanford University's presidents being fired when the truth is uncovered that they submitted fraudulent or "seriously flawed" research papers in the past. Sadly, more science than anyone cares to admit is being manufactured in order to justify grant money. This never used to be a problem, but as big money has poured into R&D, doing science for science's sake has taken a backseat to science as a business. So while this may not be terribly relevant to older studies like lung cancer, we need to be more skeptical of new studies during the last 30 years or so. Fraud and fabricated data rarely gets caught in peer review, but modern AI is already finding a lot that was missed. -
Who Is Controlling the Budget Bill? Trump, Johnson, or Musk?
uncletiger replied to John Drake's topic in Political Soapbox
Biden wasn't negotiating this, and everyone knows it. Trump was the one forced to capitulate and accept defeat. -
Who Is Controlling the Budget Bill? Trump, Johnson, or Musk?
uncletiger replied to John Drake's topic in Political Soapbox
Again, you keep talking in anachronisms. The GOP is currently 2 separate parties. The fact that they have an 'R' next to their names is merely incidental at this point. The RINO Republicans are a completely different animal from the MAGA Republicans. The RINOs and the Democrats together make up the deep state Uniparty. Until you understand this, you can't possibly hope to understand what is happening in Washington. Until all the RINOs are identified and eliminated through primaries, talking about the Republicans as if they were a monolithic entity makes no sense. Hopefully, we may get an actual Republican party made up entirely of MAGA sovereigntists in 2026. Until then, you're correct. Nothing is going to change. The deep state Uniparty (Democrats + RINOs) will continue to destroy America. -
Who Is Controlling the Budget Bill? Trump, Johnson, or Musk?
uncletiger replied to John Drake's topic in Political Soapbox
Sadly we didn't. America lost this battle. The deep state got the Democrats and RINOs to collaborate and pass a pork filled, corrupt disaster of a CR that Trump was forced to accept. Nobody like to lose, but you have to be honest when it happens. I only hope that since we exposed the Uniparty members embedded within the Republican party that we can find ways to pressure them the next time this happens and get a better result.
