  1. Air Asia is NOT cheaper. Air Asia are the dirtiest and add in ALL the fees later - payment processing, fuel duty etc. Expect your final ticket price to be at least 30% higher. Lion air is the opposite. Same price you see on the first page is what you will pay
  2. No, it is a fact: https://lionairthai.com/en/ThaiLionAir-Experience/Baggage-Allowance
  3. What are you talking about? Lion air are renowned for having a 10kg free luggage allowance for domestic flights, plus 7kg cabin. This increases to 20kg for international flights. 7kg is standard for cabin baggage. All Thai airlines (including Air Asia) follow this rule. Lion Air is hands down the best airline operator for price, ease of booking and fairness of fees.
  4. Lion Air wipes the floor with Air Asia. Better planes, cheaper flights, no extra hidden fees. The first price you see when checking for available flights is the same price you pay at the end. Unless you add on extras like insurance etc.
  5. Actually, the Thai court's ruling implied that the accusation was true. They stated in their opinion that the offense was not committed on Thai soil, so he was free to continue in his 'esteemed' position. If he had been convicted in Thailand, then he would have been kicked out (or another excuse would have been given....)
  6. All political decisions cause divisiveness Anutin. Some will agree with you, and others won't. If you're only saying no because of this, then you need to get out of politics, because i'm afraid that that is the nature of the game.
  7. There's only one thing that Pheu Thai can do to save itself, and that is to not give in to the conservative minority. Sadly, I don't see it happening.

  9. Re-run the election. Now that the public has seen PTP admitting that they will cosy up to the last government and work with them whilst pushing MFP into opposition, it's time to have anther vote. The public will also be aware that iTV was Thaksin's company... he is the one who has been masterminding this plot to get rid of Pita. The Baht is still rising against the dollar though, it fell to 33.97 today. Perhaps this 'smooth' transition of power will happen tomorrow with PTP, BJT + PPP, and we'll forget all about the results of the election.
  10. 1. True, agreed. Winning by 10-15 points is considered a landslide. 2. The people clearly care - a NIDA poll done within the last 2 days stated that 43% of Thai people want Pita to be put forward again and again until he is successful in his bid to become PM. Senators clearly care as they are suing people who defame, abuse, or talk about them and their families. 3. True, agreed. However, I don't think anyone can point out any 'woke, ideological' policies from the MFP, so in this case, I think the accusation is false. 4. How can this be mostly true, if they won a landslide election to literally be in charge of the country? Don't be silly.... it's obviously false! 5. FALSE. The party is only 2 years old? How on earth can this be true? Pita has been in opposition for the last 4 years, so this is what he has been doing. The MFP was actually formed in 2014 as the Ruam Pattana Chart Thai party, and has changed names twice. Lawsuit after lawsuit.... isn't that what happened to MFP (or FFP as they once were known). They were not the party suing everyone, they were the party who were sued and had to rename to MFP.
  11. I'm amazed that this article hasn't already had hundreds of comments. Every other story about Trans issues on aseannow seems to generate a ton of views, arguments and lots of people using capital letters and bold italics to shout down their opponents.... Are we not entertained?
  12. Hang on a minute.... this chap is a member of the Palang Pracharath Party... get it right PBS <deleted>!
  13. Do they really think that will work? A certain ex-army captain spent years in an Australian prison for being a heroin dealer, yet that same piece of <deleted> is still an MP after the court backed him. Thai politicians have no shame. They only care about themselves.
  14. In the face of oppression, one should just quit? Could you imagine what America would be like if they had thought, well, the British won't let us be an independent country, let's just forget all this tea party nonsense and pay our taxes to the Queen. Pointing out the ridiculousness of the senators actions, and the idiocy of having an undemocratic system is the entire point. They should keep on voting until they listen to the will of the people.
  15. Their statement shows disrespect to democracy? Poorly worded and smacks of immaturity, but what can one expect from teens these days? Appointing 250 unelected buddies to block anything you don't like is democratic? I think not. General P appointing his buddies to the senate is a much more offensive and disrespectful action against democracy. When the senators terms are finished next year, who appoints the next bunch?
  16. Some files could be corrupted, try this: Select Start, and in the search box, enter Command Prompt. Press and hold (or right-click) Command Prompt (Desktop app)from the search results and select Run as administrator. Enter DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth(note the spaces before each "/"). Enter sfc/scannow(note the space between "sfc" and "/"). That should eliminate and replace corrupted system files
  17. Seriously... their children aren't off limits? You need to have a quiet word with yourself. Their family members did not vote, the senators did.
  18. MFP secured 38% of the vote, so in fact, it would be 62%. Then, consider that MFP + PTP together achieved 38% + 28.8% - Close to 70% of the population voted for democratic parties.
  19. The Baht has been gaining on the dollar for the last few days... Do they know something we don't? 34.5 right now, yet just week it was 35.8 I think we are all in agreement that there's no way Pita is going to be elected as the PM, yet the Baht is rising like one of Bezos' cock-shaped rockets. What's going on?
  20. Absolutely mad. We should just raise the age of consent to 18, or get rid of that ridiculous law. If you can consent to having sexual intercourse, and the potential to have a child, then you should be able to do anything you wish with your body. That includes sending nudes to whomever you wish.
  21. How is it irrelevant? They are not allowed to dissolve until the court case has concluded. As they do not have a license, commission or spectrum to operate as a media company, then they clearly can't just suddenly produce content. There's also this little thing called "the spirit of the law" which this 'case' clearly is going against. It's also worth pointing out that this is one of Taksin's companies... no prizes for figuring out who leaked all of this information and has been trying to change the official meeting minutes to cause trouble for MFP....
  22. No, they couldn't, as they do not have a spectrum to begin broadcasting, and there are no spectrum auctions coming up either. Over 15 years since they last operated as a media company. The chairman himself even said they do not operate as a media company. Could it be any clearer?
  23. It is not an active media company. This is the key detail. It makes money from data that it sells. https://www.thaipbsworld.com/itv-born-of-bloody-may-trouble-under-thaksin-and-now-pitas-nemesis/ The minutes record that Intouch president and iTV CEO Kim Siritaweechai, responding to an iTV shareholder’s question, confirmed that iTV was still active in the media business. However, a video clip of the meeting then emerged revealing that Kim had actually replied that iTV no longer operated in media. On Thursday, iTV Plc’s board of directors issued a statement in a bid to clarify the situation. “The company had no intention of stating that it was still operating as a media business,” iTV said, referring to the minutes of the April 26 meeting.
  24. Is it not clear that iTV has not been a functioning media company for over 10 years? It matters not whose name these worthless shares they are in. The company is not functioning, and can not function as it does not have a TV spectrum license. It is only in existence because the company is not allowed to dissolve until the court case against them has been concluded. They have no listing on the SET either, because they are not an active company. This is just an excuse that the yellow shirts are using to get rid of him. One of the whiniest little rodents is that chap nicknamed "The Giant Killer" who managed to take down a Prime Minister because he once deigned to appear as a guest on a cooking show. He's now submitted a further petition to the court, because Pita wrote a book or two a while back, and is using this to say he's part of a media empire. Giant Killer? I think he sounds like a ridiculous little boy, throwing his toys out of the pram to get what he wants. Laws in Thailand are not there to protect the people, or even the country. They are used as weapons by the elite to silence voices they do not wish to hear. Personally, I'll be watching the exchange rate with glee if Pita's bid to become the PM fails. Protests, no government and the potential for another coup? The dollar could go through the roof against the Thai Baht.
