Yes, they were staying in a safe area - outside the evacuation zone means precisely that. They made it to the south. For your post to be correct, they would have written 'inside' the evacuation zone. If you are inside the place you have been ordered to evacuate, then you are not safe.

Thaksin Had Four Shoulder Incisions: Paetongtarn

Journalism... in Thailand? I thought the papers wrote what they were told to write.... -
Is that why they are bombing the area they told them to move to? "They followed evacuation orders. An Israeli airstrike killed them the next day." https://edition.cnn.com/2023/10/16/middleeast/israel-palestinian-evacuation-orders-invs/index.html

Again, same trap. Savagery is savagery. If you asked a mother how they feel about their baby being beheaded by Hamas, and then you ask another mother about their baby being burned alive from falling Israeli bombs I'm sure both mothers would be lamenting the loss of their child. Not the manner in which they were killed.

If you had read my post, you would also note that I said extremist factions in Hamas want the eradication of Israel. Having a two state solution might just temper that extremist faction. The entire world agrees that a two state solution is needed, I'm not being crazy... right? Don't jump to condemn people just because their view differs from yours. This is how wars drag on for years, no one is willing to listen to each other. Everyone is very happy sitting in their little corner listening to echos of their own opinion.

Ah yes, the clean up operation where they asked all Gazans to move to the south (which is a war crime) to stay safe from bombing, then they go and bomb the south.
-
I think they want a Palestinian state. Israel has one already, I think it's high time the Palestinians did. That might temper their more extremist factions. Let's not forget, the far right in Israel openly calls for the death of Arabs, just as Hamas calls for the eradication of the Israeli state. Both are to blame, and both need to talk together.

Are you really going to argue semantics over who is worse? Grow up. That kind of behavior is what is keeping this conflict going. Get over your bias and contribute something positive.
-
Claiming that Israel is only going after military targets is categorically false. Moral clarity is an American political catchphrase, your bias is clearly evident. You keep falling into the same trap, who is the worst. You can polish a turd, but a stinky turd it shall remain.

Both of these parties are bad actors; they have done terrible things to each other. It is ridiculous to say "But, they murdered people more violently so they are the bad guys, they crossed a line." Killing people is still killing people - whether you use a machete to behead someone, or American weaponry. Savagery is savagery. Seeing all of those babies and kids bodies piled up outside hospitals in Gaza is horrific. Reading the tales from survivors of Hamas' attack on Israel is horrific. They are both as barbaric as each other. If we keep bleating on about who started this, which declaration caused that, who murders people more violently, then we will never find peace. Iran is itching to get involved, and the entire region could be engulfed in a new holy war between Muslims and Jews. We need to blame both of them, and force them all to sit around a table.

Probably acupuncture. As ridiculous as when he said he couldn't come to Thailand because he needed to see a doctor, so he released a picture of himself receiving an eye exam. This is Thailand. One rule for the rich, another rule for everyone else. -
Okay, why don't you tell this to the UN chief who said exactly the same things this morning, that I said 2 days ago. https://www.bbc.com/news/live/world-middle-east-67201465 Pointing out that Israel has been building illegal settlements on stolen land for decades is a fact. Pointing out that Israelis have also been murdering Palestinians in their homes is a fact. Hamas is a terrorist organization that does not represent the Palestinian people. Hamas committed many atrocities. The British royally screwed up. These are all facts. I obviously do not condone what Hamas did, but as the United Nations chief said : the attacks did not happen in a vacuum. Others are much happier to believe Biden's version of events; the attacks were completely "unprovoked'

If you had actually read the post, you would have noted that I blamed the British (Israel wasn't even mentioned in the first paragraph), Hamas and Israel equally. I can't help it if you want to feel like a little victim - but don't accuse me of things that are not true. Same goes to you @Jingthing
-
I am definitely NOT antisemitic. Two things can be true at the same time: Hamas has (and is) committed atrocities. Israel has (and is) committed atrocities.

It was the British who started all of this. What the hell were they thinking, giving away the Arab's land? Even worse, they were (and still are) surrounded by enemies. This is the stupidest place on earth to settle a group of people who are not Muslim. Thinking about who owned the land thousands of years ago is ridiculous. If that were to be the case, then Britain would still expect to run a third of the world - India, parts of Asia, Africa. Christians could also lay claim to Jerusalem - it was run by the Romans after all! Most people would argue that being kicked out of your home and never allowed to return is a valid reason for starting a war. That's why European countries support Ukraine, Russia is an invading force. Israel is an invading, and currently occupying force, they have continuously built settlements on stolen land that was promised to be part of the Palestinians state. They have broken so many laws and committed so many war crimes, yet because the US backs them, nothing can be done about it. The US won't even agree to a ceasefire statement. Pathetic. Yes, the terrorism that Hamas has committed is unforgivable, but so is the daily terrorism that Israel has subjected these people to over the last few decades. This war didn't just start - it has been going on for decades. Both sides are at fault, and both sides need to sit down and sort this out.

The Silk Road Economic ‘Belt’ element refers to plans for a revitalized series of ancient overland trading routes connecting Europe and Asia. The 'Road' element plans to establish new sea trade infrastructure along the old Marco Polo route – a maritime silk road connecting China, Southeast Asia, Africa, and Europe. Basically, 'belt' means overland, 'road' means over water.

Submarine snag: Thai prime minister dives into talks with China
Brickleberry replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
No, that's just not how things are done. You are the Prime Minister of Thailand. You were not elected, and you were not the first choice (or second, third or fourth) for the people, but you still have to represent the people of Thailand, not China. You need to find a solution for the Thai people, which is not to buy the useless submarines in the first place. China broke the deal in the first place - they could never supply German engines. -

That's why the price of weed has been ridiculously high - twice as expensive as it is in the US. They knew it would all come crashing down soon. That's why they sell it per gram. I mean seriously, who buys weed by the gram? Cocaine, yes. Weed, NEVER. -

Is it really a war when only one side has cruise missiles, Navy Jet fighter planes and a professionally trained army with high tech weapons? Nope. This is called genocide.
