  1. Bolton is a warmonger. One of the worst. Only neo-con scum like Richard Perle were worse.
  2. I deeply regret not studying Chemistry as a degree. That would have been by far the most fascinating and useful subject
  3. Well, Russia unfortunately, the nuclear power with a large military that is at their border. Hence, circumspect and sensible nations take the views of larger powers into account. They don't live in a vacuum. Then why is NATO practising for that?
  4. No, in the UK a defendant can opt for a jury or a bench trial. Since she opted for bench most likely she'd have opted for a bench trial if she'd gone to trial.
  5. Good, John Bolton is a bottom feeder, hopefully they stole everything.
  6. Well, since that police chief is in jail he has no more clients.
  7. Now Letitia James just needs to be convicted of mortgage fraud and it's a touchdown.
  8. Yes, Ukraine is like an arrow pointing at the underbelly of Russia. Whilst other countries form part of the European plains, only Ukraine would have been of consequence from a military perspective.
  9. What goes through the mind of a man who rapes a person....on a plane? How optimisitc do you have to be to think you'll get away with that?
  10. Not really. Ukraine was a special case. Because the great European plains mostly run through Ukraine. If Ukraine had fallen to NATO Russia would have become virtually indefensible to conventional invasion. Only Ukraine had this geographic feature.
  11. I really don't think she did, because she called for those hotels to be burned down and her post was recorded. So pretty much a guaranteed incitement conviction. Which is why she pled guilty no doubt.
  12. There were. The Ukrainians and US intelligence collaborated long before the Russian invasion. Way, way, way before it.
  13. The Ukraine war. Dead civilians. That's what's wrong with it.
  14. At least there are chickens in France! There are no lions in England! And on top they claim 3 of them. As if lions grow on trees in England! Tsssk. And Richard Lionheart was half French! His mother was born in Bourdeaux!
  15. The magnificent 7 and Love Story. One to give you strength, and the other to....make you cry.
  16. First Russian troops arrived there in April 2014. Long after NATO had put its hand on the table that they would allow Georgia and Ukraine to join as NATO members. Again, Putin only pursued military actions after 2008, when NATO brazenly admitted it had been lying to Russia all along and Georgia and Ukraine would become members.
  17. Come on, man, we all know why she pled guilty. Just for the reduced sentence. She knew her text was recorded. Had she gone to trial it would have gotten a lot worse. That's all.
  18. Looks like a good film. Though I loathe that Mark Wahlberg.
  19. It would not have been a problem if NATO had kept its word and not pursued eastwards expansion. If these countries had been signalled that NATO won't take them then they would not have sought membership. They sought membership because they were told they could.
  20. He probably cut up some people. So he needs the room to be cool lest the bodies decompose too fast.
  21. A Google search will not give the full context. The Bucharest 2008 summit came against the backdrop of years of Americans and Germans and NATO saying that they will not expand eastwards. When NATO announced brazenly in 2008 that Georgia and Ukraine will become members that was when the West revealed its hand finally and when Russia realised it had been lied to. You will note the invasion of Georgia took place in 2008. It was from that point that Putin used a more agressive approach. Because he had tried to negotiate with the West for years and was just ignored and lied to.
  22. Of course, why else do you think NATO announced that Ukraine would become a member in 2008? Yes he did. After Putin was ignored in the 2008 Bucharest summit, where he forcefully once again articulated that NATO had crossed a red line by announcing Ukraine would become a member, Putin became far more aggressive. Particularly after the pro-Russian government in Ukraine was faced with the CIA led revolution in Ukraine. He first took care of Georgia in 2008 and then Ukraine. With force. Because there was no other way. He had tried to negotiate with the West and NATO for years, but was just ignored. His war with Ukraine did of course not start in 2022 but in 2014, when Russians took the Crimea by force. The 2008 Bucharest NATO summit was the catalyst because in 2008 Russia invaded Georgia after it became clear NATO lied to Russia.
  23. So if France chose a kangaroo as a national symbol, Italy chose a Flamingo and Australia chose a Bengal tiger that would make perfect sense to you would it? It's stupid! That's what England is doing! There are no lions in England! There are plenty of foxes, badgers and beavers. But no lions whatsoever! It's a total nonsense!
