Latest developments and discussion of recent events in the Ukraine War
Yes, I have the hope that in time a more far sighted German government, which actually cares about its own industry and its own people, will take Russia up on its generous offer to keep supplying much needed gas to Germany. Indeed VW has to undergo a major redundancy wave now, things are not going well in Germany.

Latest carmaker to scale back its EV ambitions amid slowing sales
Lol, you EV Fan boys do make me laugh, you really think Toyota's development of new hydrogen technology is just "anti-EV" propaganda, when in reality Toyota began developing hydrogen cars in 1992, long before EVs were a thing. Toyota makes excellent and fairly priced cars that are on the whole far superior to most of the underpriced Chinese fire hazards sold as EV cars, that have mostly poor range and take forever to charge. Sadly it's true that in Thailand, where 80% of people have Chinese heritage and are thus equally obsessesd with paying as little as possible, you keep seeing more and more of these EV drivers on the road. They're an absolute menace, speeding insane due to the instant torque of these EVs. I predict Thailand's accident figures will increase because of EVs, they are mostly driven by people who can't drive. EV drivers are worse than pick up drivers now.

Harrowing Allegations Emerge Against Andrew and Tristan Tate
Absolutely. I heard horror stories about Luton, and parts of St Albans weren't much better. NE is salt of the earth from the people I met, I've only been to Leeds in the north and it was pretty nice. Anyway, Andrew Tate, serious allegations, but we need to see the evidence. We heard what she said. But she appears to have texts from Andrew Tate?

I love ghee, if I could find a cheap supplier I would use it too. I used it in Europe a lot.

Latest developments and discussion of recent events in the Ukraine War
Quite true, publicly German is posing as if it ended all purchases of Russian gas and quietly it continues to import Russian LNG via Belgium and Netherlands.

Will pepper spray stop dog attacks
Yes, pepper spray will stop them, I have personally tried this out and it works. I was attacked by two dogs while walking my own two, and the pepper spray saved the day.

Which cooking oil to use?
I use coconut oil for cooking asian food and EV Olive oil for western food usually, though it is crazy expensive you need to have a spoonful of EV Olive oil if you want to live to 200. Bryan Johnson said so. Nobody should be using Palm Oil.

The Ultimate Betrayal and the Enemy
Thank you Swissie, I lost about 200,000 USD all in all over 6 years. All because this woman managed to fire up this fantasy of the soul known as love, and you lose most cognitive function when you're in that state. But yes, I can still function and was luckier than many other men who in similar situations were completely ruined. Also because of the decency of my ex-wife. The loss of that magnificent woman and my children weighs far heavier than the 200,000 USD of course. But you live and learn.

Baht becoming ridiculously strong
Interestingly the Bangkok post predicted the strength of the Thai Baht in Jan 2023. https://www.bangkokpost.com/business/general/2474359/baht-tipped-to-have-a-strong-year

What would you consider a setup, price action after news?

Sound advice
Should have watched the video. 1 USD then would be worth 88 USD when I retire. You also made the mistake to times the yearly total by 13, but I spent the 1000 over a period of 20 years. The 13 years would be when I retire. But easy mistakes to make.

Passenger Criticizes Thai Airways for Stranding Over 30 People at Arlanda Airport
I flew to Germany in August and booked direct with Thai Airways. I was annoyed I hadn't noticed that the connection Thai Airways provided for their Chiang Mai Bangkok - Frankfurt connection provided for only 90 minutes to make the connection. As expected Chiang Mai had a delay. However, Thai Airways held the Bangkok - Frankfurt flight and sent a representative to the arrival in Bangkok to navigate us all, there were quite a few of us, at great speed through Bangkok Airport security and immigration to ensure we can make the Bangkok - Frankfurt flight. Exceptionally well done by Thai Airways I thought. Very sad to see this excellent service is not always provided. But in the next booking I will make sure to have a close eye on the connection time, to ensure it's in excess of 3 hours.

Liz Cheney chooses Harris over Trump. She is an example for other patriotic Republicans
Yes they are. And terrible with a shotgun themselves.

Sound advice
Dear Lord, if I had not squandered 1000 USD on books every month when I was a lawyer, I would have had 21,120,000 in 13 years. Ah well, win some, lose some.

Allan Lichtman, the Nostradamus of U.S. presidential predictions has made his FINAL pick
The latest New York times poll has Trump up by 1%. Looks like Harris' support has evaporated somewhat, as was expected. https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/article/2024/sep/09/latest-poll-kamala-harris-donald-trump-2024-us-election-presidential-polls

Which Thai cities are not getting worse or perhaps improving
There is smoke in Chiang Mai, but only for a few months. You can head to Phu Quoc during those months. Without the smoke I still think Chiang Mai is the best city in Thailand, due to cafe culture, restaurants, pricing and massage culture.

White House Condemns Tucker Carlson’s Interview with Holocaust Denier
No, Generalplan Ost was to be fully implemented after Germany won the war, so its full implementation would by definition have only been possible after the war. Whether and to what extent some elements of the "plan", really a series of presentations, plans and speech transcripts, were in fact implemented is still debated in academia. But it is quite clear that this plan was to be implemented after victory in the east, it was meant to restructure settlements of the conquered East, also by means of deportations to Siberia. Indeed it is still unclear if Generalplan Ost literally talked about deportations to Siberia, or whether it was a epheumism for something more sinister. The plan itself speaks of a period of 20-25 years for the "germanisation". How could it possibly therefore be fully implemented, clearly not the case. This Generalplan Ost really contained several plans, drafted by different agencies, some of which were in competition with each other. There were some parts that were implemented, those being the deportations of Poles and Jews from Poland. Some settlements were established in Ukraine. At the Nuremeberg trial former employees of the RFK Planungsamt Erhard Mäding, Herbert Morgen, Josef Umlauf und Walter Christaller were adamant and declared under oath that the plans of Genearlplan Ost were just theoeretical exercises and never more than a mere brainchild of planners. The judgement of Nuremeberg accepted that it was a plan to rebuild the east. Whilst deportations did happen in Poland, you can not establish any causal link with Generalplan Ost, because only a handful of people in the Nazi administration knew about Generalplan Ost, which was to be kept secret.

White House Condemns Tucker Carlson’s Interview with Holocaust Denier
This also happened, but it was also inflicted on Germans, for example the "useless eaters" in prisons and such were also given reduced rations, and they were Germans. But yes, clearly Soviet POWs were deliberately not given the same rations as German soldiers or civilians. Looking at Generalplan Ost it very much seems like a plan on how to restructure settlements AFTER Germany has won the war, so it is not surprising it was not fully implemented. Was it implemented to a partial degree, sure, but can you provide the documented evidence on how that implementation was a direct causation of Generalplan Ost? Very unlikely, since this plan was highly confidential and only known to a handful of people in the upper hierarchy of Germany.

J.D.Vance declines to criticize Tucker Carlson over his friendly chat with Holocaust Denier
He comes across as a very smart guy, if a bit careless, plus he's a voracious reader, so he would be well aware of the pitfalls of the holocaust. He's no doubt read what happened to a whole host of historians who fell foul of the holocaust orthodoxy. Perhaps this is why he's not tackled the holocaust as a subject matter. He would be well advised to stay clear from it. Even a David Irving, who spent years researching in the archives himself and was highly knowledgeable about the minutiae of WWII had to concede on the stand that looking at the Einsatzgruppen deaths he made an error of judgement. This topic is a no win topic outside of academia and Cooper should steer clear. His best bet would be to issue a short text echoing academic orthodoxy on the issue of the holocaust and not to tackle it again. Even if he were to make great research, it would never be accepted because it would not have the sanction of academia. Even if he talks about mass starvation, which is a documented fact about WWII, about the same number of people died of starvation as died in fighting, 20 million, he already gets accused of being a holocaust denier. It's quite bizarre.

Baht becoming ridiculously strong
It has trouble to clear the 2500 hurdle, that is a strong number, so it can take some doing. But it will go up. With the dollar falling after the interest rate cuts, it would be strange if Gold did not go up.
