Something fishy with th electric bills ?
BenStark replied to moogradod's topic in The Electrical Forum
Sounds to me as if you have an insulation issue. In my house I have aircon in every room, but I only use it in the bedroom at night. In my office I have the ceiling fan on the lowest speed. I have a digital thermometer in the kitchen where I don't even open the fan, and have never measured a temperature higher than 32 degr. My digital thermometer has a memory, so I can see the highest and lowest temperature ever reached. -

Looks as if Joe himself is active in this thread. Apart from that gaffe, is most likely the new word for evidence?- 293 replies

I recall this source is often used as very credible by the extreme left liberals on this forum, I wonder what they gonna argue this time. Hacked by Fox? -

Buying Gold.
BenStark replied to NoshowJones's topic in Jobs, Economy, Banking, Business, Investments
Gold prices are fixed, all over the world, and Thailand is not different to that. Anyone who claims he sells gold at a cheaper price than other shops, I wouldn't tough with a 10 meter barge pole. You know how much you paid for your gold, so it would take only 1 minute to check online what the price was at Hua Seng Heng. Liang Seng Heng is a goldsmith, not the same as Hua Seng Heng which is the most credible gold dealer in Thailand -
US President Joe Biden to meet King and Rishi Sunak in visit to UK
BenStark replied to Social Media's topic in World News
It would be funny if your ignorance of the reality wasn't so sad. Do I really need to post 5 more pictures from different occasions, publicly available to everyone, where your dement hero shows similar expressions before you're gonna realize that denial ain't just a river in Africa? -
US President Joe Biden to meet King and Rishi Sunak in visit to UK
BenStark replied to Social Media's topic in World News
That picture speaks a thousand words about the mental condition, of course to be denied by the usual suspects here, of Biden King Charles asking, hello anybody home? -
I know there are a lot of scams on those platforms, but hs never happened to me. You either attract them, or it is your own error. Do you search for the cheapest of the cheapest listing for the item you want?

Thai Mobile Banking Apps Crash On Payday, Transfers Put Off
BenStark replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
The problem is not with Lazada, and you should have known that if you had read my post. The refund was instantly, with I'm getting the sound notification from my kbank app that a deposit arrived, and Lazada confirming in their app, and by email, that the refund was completed. -
Thai Mobile Banking Apps Crash On Payday, Transfers Put Off
BenStark replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
Bank apps are normally reliable, what I find strange though is that bank apps all over the world had issues in a very short timespan. I read in this, or the other related thread, a member posted that Australian apps were down Friday, and another post about a similar issue in the UK. I had a friend in Europe trying to transfer money to my account within the same bank on Thursday, and it didn't work. The bank called him the next day that their app had issues, and no transfer could be made for almost a full day. A coincidence? -
Trump is a criminal, Biden is too old and DeSantis is a fascist
BenStark replied to Social Media's topic in World News
Yes I agree your post, like most all of them, are laughable. But I'm glad that we have an expert here, you, who actually pretends to be an expert on about every topic on this forum. The only thing he doesn't seem to be an expert in is reading, because he sees things I never posted. Where did I say the increased their spending? ↓ ↓ ↓ ↓ ↓ -
Humidity in Hua Hin - How long can you leave a condo unattended?
BenStark replied to K2938's topic in Hua Hin and Cha-Am
Thanks for the reply. I live in a house, a large one haha. How long let you run them in each room, as I understand now they don't need to run permanently. -
Thai Mobile Banking Apps Crash On Payday, Transfers Put Off
BenStark replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
I think there were more issues than they admit. On Saturday at 10pm I cancelled a purchase which I had made on Lazada, and had paid with my Kbank debit card just an hour earlier. The refund was instantly, with I'm getting the sound notification from my kbank app that a deposit arrived, and Lazada confirming in their app, and by email, that the refund was completed. Only to find that the refund was not in my account, and still isn't. -
I think the western bank will be a bigger concern in that regard. Couple of years ago my banks in EU started to ask questions what I needed the money for when I wanted to send large sums over to an account in my name in Thailand, although my Thai address was registered with them. They even asked for invoices etc. Later they even proceeded to close my accounts because I lived in Thailand. I see the same happening with UK citizens, as it is mentioned in threads on this forum. Western banks are scum, and always have been, in my opinion In all my years, I have never known any bank paying high interests, when they didn't need to, so expect the pound to devalue in the future. Many on this forum have been caught on that when Australian and Iceland banks paid high interests. Ask them how it all ended

Currency Transfer Using Wise.com
BenStark replied to fceligoj's topic in Jobs, Economy, Banking, Business, Investments
If you registered an account years ago you could do without the selfie, and if you used it infrequently or for small amounts, you would get away with it. But at one point it will catch up with you. Now new accounts need the selfie to register -
Something fishy with th electric bills ?
BenStark replied to moogradod's topic in The Electrical Forum
I also had doubts about my electrical usage, unfounded doubts by the way, so I purchased a couple of these. Put them on the incoming line and a few appliances, so I now know exactly what power everything consumes and also if my meter is correct. https://www.lazada.co.th/products/i3425021670-s12662649599.html? -
Lab grown meat was for the first time made available a week ago. I doubt you regularly eat it in Huahin.

When the owner of the distillery says it is made with molasses, I tend to believe him. http://www.interbevgroup.com/brands-spirits-hongthong.php Smooth and easy drinking, Hong Thong is a golden spirit made from molasses at the renowned Bangyikhan Distillery near Bangkok. The name 'Hong Thong' translates into 'Golden Phoenix'.
