Taxation of Ex-Pats pensions etc.
Lite Beer replied to LittleBear57's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
My thoughts are that you are worrying about nothing. Not going to happen for a long time if at all. Even if they did want to tax my measly frozen pension the allowances would take it out of the limits for tax. -

Thailand on track to legalise same-sex marriage
Lite Beer replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
Same Sex Marriage? How would that affect a Foreign Woman marrying a Thai Woman or a Foreign Man marrying a Thai Man when it comes to Visa extensions? Who if anyone would have to show the money in the bank? Who would be the Husband and who would be the Wife when dealing with Immigration. At the moment a foreign husband has the show the 400k in the bank. A foreign wife has to show nothing. -

In my view the one sub forum that should be totally serious is the Visa Forum. People rely on it for correct information. Unfortunately since the sad passing of UbonJoe it has become a pit of false information and petty bickering. Joe use to jump on it hard, as did lopburi 3 in the past. Needs to be strictly moderated unlike the pub forum that can be a lot more loose.
