In my view the one sub forum that should be totally serious is the Visa Forum. People rely on it for correct information. Unfortunately since the sad passing of UbonJoe it has become a pit of false information and petty bickering. Joe use to jump on it hard, as did lopburi 3 in the past. Needs to be strictly moderated unlike the pub forum that can be a lot more loose.

Just drank that bottle of Carabao Lager. To me it tasted like Leo. Orrible. I hope the IPA is better. Thai beer sets the standard so low that there is not much to aim for. I know people knock it but Bud tastes better than most Thai beer. Not saying much is it?

Left the bin in the car but was around 60 Baht for 620ml bottle in Big C EDIT Just looked and it was 50 Baht. Not building my hopes up.

Any time during the final 30 days of your permission to stay. 45 days at some offices. However don't leave it too late in case of any issues. -
I am in Khon Kaen and always apply early (1 month or even more). Gets it done and out of the way plus gives you time in case of any problems. So yes the under consideration period can be over 2 months. Not a problem for me. I have never had a home visit so also not a problem.

The way you have written it is confusing. The 30 days under consideration period starts on the day the current permission to stay ends.

There is no requirement to keep the 400k during the under consideration period although on or two offices think there is. I often dip into it following application.

Get another Visa Exempt when you re enter Thailand. -
Most wives probably contribute as well. Foreign Wives need nothing in the bank meaning that a Thai Husband and foreign wife can live on not a lot.

Could say the same about Marriage 40,000 a month transfers. Even better.

Marriage extension would be my choice. Less financials. Can use the money throughout the year, unlike retirement extensions. Easy to apply for despite what some on here might say.
