  1. As far as I know the money has to be in the bank on the day you apply. Not 2 months before.
  2. You are extending your permission to stay , so you should be OK.
  3. You can get a 60 day extension to visit Wife from Immigration. Providing you have not already applied for one on this stay.
  4. Why don't you make a will so that she gets it when you kick the bucket? They are pretty cheap and easy to do.
  5. Pretty easy for a foreign woman with a Thai Husband Not so easy for a man with a Thai Wife. Even 12 month extensions for a woman married to a Thai man are much easier. They do not need money in the bank unlike a man. As said you will need 3 years continuous extensions and pay income tax in Thailand.
  6. That's why most Thais shout a lot. Most are deaf.
  7. As said, the extension will be given up to the passport expiry date.
  8. Welcome to the land of noise. Not a lot you can do about it. You wait until 4 decide to die in the same week. 4 different speaker stacks blasting out at the same time for days. That is what we just had to endure. Glastonbury has got nothing on this lot.
  9. You submit the report 90 days after re entry to the country. The day you enter is day one.
  10. 2.18 In the case of being a family member of a Thai national (applicable only to parents, spouse, children, adopted children, or spouse’s children): (1) The alien must have been granted a non-immigrant visa (NON-IM). (2) The alien must have proof of relationship. (3) In the case of spouse, the relationship must be de jure and de facto:
  11. There is no Retirement Visa. Does he have a Non O Visa or an Extension of Stay? Either way he can apply for an extension of stay based on marriage to a Thai lady if he qualifies.
  12. They are all much the same. Try Pulse TV or look here. IPTV - IT and Computers - Thailand News, Travel & Forum - ASEAN NOW
  13. A post by a wannabe Mod and replies to it removed.

  15. Requirement is 400k on the day of application only.
  16. I have already given the correct information in my post above. Looks to me like the IO made a mistake.
  17. Unless there has been a very recent change there is no requirement to show the money 2 months before application. It has to be in the bank on the day you apply. Unless it has changed very recently which I doubt.
  18. Ubonjoe gave you the only serious option.
  19. Cameron held the referendum to heal the rifts in the Tory party. That went well didn't it?
  20. It works well for most of us.
  21. Read your Bank Card. Needed to access your bank in UK.
  22. Thais are not disturbed by noise. They enjoy it. Not a lot you can do about it. There is a reason that it is called The Land Of Noise.
