  1. This election only proves one thing, Thailand is doomed, and it's people voted for it. The government you elect is the government you deserve.
  2. I wouldn't really have a huge issue with Anutin, but the fact that he allows the Heroin dealer into his government makes me seriously question his intelligence.
  3. It appears Thais have chosen the continuation of the parties of evil and pillaging, fun fun! The people really do get the government they deserve, enjoy!
  4. Any government without Prawit or the convicted Heroin dealer and charlatan in it, is a plus for everyone. The fact that anybody would vote for Thamanat Prompow or even be seen near him, scares the Hell out me, and it should the Thai people as well.
  5. This being Thailand, if these businesses were not doing good, they probably increased their prices, which should have fixed everything.
  6. If that were to happen, what happens next is already planned, dissolution of the Peoples Party......I am sure the powers-that-be already have a stack of dirt on the PP to pull out in the event of a loss to them. There is no way in Hell that they are going to hand the reins over to them anytime in our lifetime.
  7. I'd be happier with a happy medium, say 35-36 Baht to USD, which is where I think the government wants it anyway.
  8. The path is clear for the Elite and Military to continue raping and pillaging the nation, soldier on!
  9. Which is why all countries around the world should rescind all land ownership held by Thais.
  10. The amount of money thrown around and held by 'politicians' here, in a country full of poor people, boggles the mind.
  11. His Ego and national shame is too much for him, it's a Thai trait. With his amount of money and early forced retirement, I would just disappear into the night, never to be heard from again, power, money, ego, mean nothing to me......I would be in Kauai sipping Mai Tai's, living out my life in anonymity, and happy as a clam.
  12. Probably, but I haven't had a drink in almost a year now, so I am safe 😜
  13. "Illegal immigrants", there is a distinction.
  14. At the expense of overtaxed taxpayers, let the politicians dig in their own pockets, or start a fundraiser, no reason for taxpayers to shoulder the burden.
  15. I predict alcohol will be everywhere, ban or no ban.
  16. All for nothing, just theater, the Elite and military will still hold power when all is said and done. Bonus, we get to see a smug Anutin and his convicted heroin dealer buddy Thamanat Prompow grace our TV screens for the daily government news for the next 4 years.
  17. Because like everything else, the Elite control everything in Thailand, including the Baht.
  18. I guess it's always good to believe in fantasies, things are not going to improve next Sunday, that's a fact.
  19. I still prefer it, I am forced to login to my bank account first, then scan, then OK the transaction. Multiple chances to avoid any inadvertent purchases.
  20. Makes purchasing small items and a simple dinner much easier from small little stalls or larger businesses, no cash in pocket needed. I've used it for just about everything I can think of actually, even bought my new digital camera this way, though it did take two payments, because of the 50,000 baht limit.
  21. Now he is using his power and money to intimidate people even further, anything he can to regain power. That pursuit of power will be his undoing, his ego is steering him to ruin.
