When investors, retirees, skilled workers, and families are looking for stability and security, give them pure chaos and ever changing rules. Sounds like a great Pheu Thai plan, good luck with it's implementation, they'll need it.
It's a product of being genetically obtuse, selective breeding might be a good course of action, because Darwin's theory of evolution is painfully too slow.
I saw a helmetless motorcyclist this morning blow through a STOP sign while staring at his phone in his left hand, this was right in front of a traffic cop.....so I'd say this is nothing more than a photo op for the RTP, no real change will ever happen.
There is no such thing as safety in Thailand, no Thai has ever cared about "safety". Now if you mean "fate", then you might be on to something, those with the luckiest amulets win that battle.
There is a reason my daughter isn't allowed on those death traps, they are already dangerous enough, add the typical uneducated/untrained Thai driver and they are incredibly dangerous to put children on. I watch them daily drive down the road at double the speed limit, weaving in and out of traffic without using blinkers, and disobeying pretty much all traffic laws.
Which questions the intelligence of the imbeciles who put that change in place, it was obvious to anyone with a brain that it would cause a "negative impact".
Sounds like you're the only one unable to control your emotional issues, crying a river for a common criminal who knew what she was getting herself into. If you can't handle her demise, I suggest finding a safe place and have a long hard cry to make yourself feel better.
If she did the crime, and she was a stewardess, she knew what to expect if she got caught. She shouldn't be surprised about what comes next, and none of us should have any sympathy for her actions. Let her enjoy the fruits of her endeavor, I hear Sri Lanka has a wonderful prison system, she will do well.
