  1. Firing several rounds in a gated community, 1000 baht fine, that's it?!?!
  2. Maybe it's time you read and study up on what causes wars, not just take the bait fed to you by media sensationalism.
  3. I can almost see the fart can and the wider inexpensive wheels from here, this was a professional Thai driver, he knew what he was doing. Must have been brake failure.
  4. That would definitely be the narrative fed to the sheep, baaah.
  5. I remember when I was 17 I had to accompany a female office worker at my work in transporting the money bag to the bank deposit slot at the bank. I think we had to do that every time we made $15,000.....I guess it was my job to be the muscle....although I was told not to attack anyone who robbed us, just to hand over the money.....I asked them "What's the fun in that?" .....The store manager gave me a dirty look....LOL
  6. Yeah, when that happens, don't drive the drunk home....call the cops to deal with him, it's not worth the hassle, the good Samaritans just learned a valuable lesson.
  7. Any guesses on how many times over the legal weight limit for that truck he was? I'm going with close to 3 times the legal limit.
  8. I assume Thai's like to play the odds, you have to be nuts to try and play chicken with a train.
  9. The horses mouth, the driver was quoted on ThePattayaNews.
  10. He entered the tracks in heavy traffic, he then got trapped on the tracks. You don't try crossing the tracks unless you can make it to the other side!!!! I see this same dumb logic used when there is heavy traffic and a Zebra crossing, you can't stop on a Zebra crossing either, you must wait to cross them until you can clearly cross to the other side. Proper drivers training before issuing a drivers license would help stop this idiotic behavior.
  11. Don't look now, but there is another British drunk on BangkokPost who attacked two good Samaritans who decided to drive him home after he was refused taxi service because he was too drunk. I'm thinking the British need to work on their sobriety.
  12. So it appears they caught this guy, and fined him a whole 500 baht (and maybe a wai), and the attack wasn't over loud noises, it was because he was "under the influence of alcohol".....who would have guessed? https://thethaiger.com/news/national/foreign-man-fined-500-baht-for-physically-assaulting-thai-restaurant-worker
  13. You mean the version from the coward who ran away from the scene, and who beats up women?
  14. Doesn't look like the traffic cop was too happy, as this morning they put up cones down the center yellow line approaching the intersection to stop this type of stupidity. I hope traffic cams caught him and they pay him a visit.
  15. This was in Muang Thong Thani right behind the Impact Arena Convention center in Nonthaburi, was actually surprised to see it was a foreigner.
  16. My daughter is 8 yrs old now, still uses her Captains Style booster seat, she likes it better than the regular seats, and it makes it easier for her to sleep in on long rides. As you know, like you, I have a no travel without seatbelts rule that she sticks to as well.
  17. It would be nice if they would publish these "accidents" showing if the riders were wearing helmets, are properly licensed, etc.
  18. I don't usually take Taxis anymore, but when I do, about half of the seatbelts are disabled or removed. You would think the Thai government would mandate them in Taxis, and check to make sure they are working on a regular basis.....who am i kidding....TIT
  19. Another reason to avoid mixed drinks or hard liquor while out, especially while vacationing in a 3rd world country, stick to beer in a bottle that you see opened in front of you.
  20. Lack of working running or brake lights is the norm here, I see tons of cars with one out of 3 brake lights working, and even more motorcycles with no rear running lights. I assume these people have no idea how dangerous this practice is in Thailand, last thing you want to do is to drive with no running lights or brake lights working in Thailand (Suicidal).
  21. You literally can't make this stuff up, two accidents, two idiots and complete chaos. TIT
  22. I hope they do a deep dive into Zelensky and his finances when this over, he should be pretty rich on US taxpayer money by now. I also hope they arrest him when this is all over, I'd like to see the warmonger in a prison cell for the rest of his life.
  23. Not good that the other diver did a hit-and-run, but sounds like she killed herself by changing lane position without looking, in what appears to be from the breakdown lane into a lane of traffic.
  24. I would guess this happens thousands of times every day here, he needs to do a better job of hiding it though.
