British Man Injured in Pattaya Road Rage Incident with Thai Driver
lordgrinz replied to Georgealbert's topic in Pattaya News
So two vehicles get in a crash, they pull over, a Thai beats the old Brit man over the head with an illegal weapon, and you want to throw the book at the Brit? The Brit is lucky to have survived a car vs motorcycle crash, now he gets beat over the head for pulling over and exchanging information, and now have his license suspended? Unless you can prove the Brit swung first, there is nothing here but an angry Thai wielding a weapon. In either case, the Thai guy should spend a few years in jail for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. -
This "one individual" was also not fired, that should have been the first thing they did. Based on your own link, this employee did indeed do this, and multiple homes were bypassed by other employees "because of the order". Meaning this was more than one person involved, unless we are to believe that people would be so naive as to follow an illegal order, or as they put it, "The employee who issued this guidance had NO AUTHORITY and was GIVEN NO DIRECTION to tell teams to avoid these homes"

Fake Police Officer Triggers Scam Alert in Central Pattaya
lordgrinz replied to snoop1130's topic in Pattaya News
I consider all RTP fake, they don't seem to be doing anything of any value day-in and day-out. I guess they just want to wear the uniform and look the part, Hell with actually working for a living. -

Thailand's Expats Urged to Register with TRD for Tax, Says Expert
lordgrinz replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
Exactly, we are all talking about what is going on around us, and sharing information we find, or questions we may have. The problem starts when someone insist they are the end-all-be-all of information, that their opinion is the only one, and that everyone else is wrong. -
Thailand's Expats Urged to Register with TRD for Tax, Says Expert
lordgrinz replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
Some people believe they are the end-all-be-all of Tax information in Thailand, we all need to prostate ourselves before them and pledge our allegiance to their superior intellect. -
I agree, give them this one chance to self-deport to save their chance at becoming citizens in the future. We can send out a warning that this will be allowed only for a very short time, that this window (amnesty period) closes if they don't do so quickly. One more issue, is that I want to do away with anchor babies, no more birth-right citizenship. Citizenship should only be extended to babies born to at least one US citizen parent.
-
Take their pictures and fingerprints, confiscate all wealth in their possession, inform them that they can never become citizens because they have illegally entered. Send them back to their home countries with a bill for services rendered (to include housing, food, medical, court costs, etc), if the countries don't pay the bill, then institute higher tariffs to pay for the services. No more free ride on the US taxpayers.

Thailand's Expats Urged to Register with TRD for Tax, Says Expert

Everyone may answer that one differently, but the real question should be "do I legally still have to file a tax return?" -
Baht Slumps as Trump's Victory Strengthens US Dollar

Weak emotional people are the problem, they need thicker skin, or more life experiences to handle the prospect of not getting their own way. We are now raising children who feel entitled to everything they want or feel they need, I blame the parents, if they get this upset over an election? Then they have little hope of dealing with real disappointments and setbacks, good luck to them.

He's nearly 80, I think you should probably look into how he has lived so long, rather than criticize him for it. Will you do the same if he lives to 90?

Free holidays for Brits ‘high-jacked’ into Thai drug courier scheme

Do they have 5-Star accommodations? Any reviews on the pool and the food? 😜 -
I remember squirrels all over the front lawn of the White House, I thought if anyone was smart they would use one (or more) of these critters as assassins 🤪

What you're advocating for, is really just a slick talking snake-oil salesman, the typical blowhard politician. The reason Trump won in 2016, is because we were sick of that type of politician, this time it was due to a complete failure on every level by the Biden/Harris administration (Biden being the King of the snake-oil salesman : 50+ yrs in politics does that). Would it be great if Trump could control his Ego and learn to check himself, yes, but is it a necessity? No.

Ummm , those are some of the reasons they lost this time, they created wars and poverty and did so in record time.

That's like saying people who don't wear motorcycle helmets, drive without licenses, or driver against oncoming traffic are effectively legal, they are not. -
I look forward to mean tweets, and further meltdowns.
