Another honest warning to foreigners not to buy property in Thailand, Rent at most.

Nothing new as the tuk tuk and taxis have made cheating customers an institution in Thailand. But the tailors in Thailand have become worse with cheating in prices, bad materials, bad workmanship. Anybody with the sightest tast can see the difference and how badly the shirts or suits are delivered by the tailors in Nana area of Bangkok.

Chinese visitors will not entertain the local hookers and if they do, they will only go with the chinese girlies who are sent over discreetly in specific parlours. Same for restaurants and other venues.

Make arrangements and stay only for 178 days each year. Then do the remaining months in a country next door. Issue solved, But agree that it's difficult if one has been around for some time.

Would definately not risk a gastro by eating in such a place for sure.

Tried to be friends and all nice for a start but does not last because at the end of the day they prefer only to mingle amongst themselves. Fine for me. No problem.

Thai Police are too busy harassing foreigners on their visa issues instead of doing the job on domestic crime.

Except that with all the harassment against the retiree quality foreigners, they will inform on social media back home that Thailand is not welcomming foreigners any more due to all the immigration hassles. Spend the holiday and the money in vietnam, cleaner beaches, cheaper food and shopping.

In other words lets hope it is not a blank cheque to be rude, to refuse to give out the document the foreigner may request in any I/o office and basically to do everything to make life hell for those who bring in money in Thailand ? Well time to try other countries where there is a bit more respect to the golden geese. But one must admit also that quite a few farangs in legal business in Thailand can be plain crooks who enjoy cheating their own..Problem is it is always the honest ones that have to face rude officers and get harassed. The crooks always pass below the radar.

All those he had rounded up and deported must be laughing their heads off...

Let's see if Trump gets back in office and if he will be able to Stop the war ? Guess that Trump is that wild and unpredictible, that even Putin and Bibi in Israel, could decide better to stop, so at the end of the day, Trump may succeed ? Hopefully.

Solution is not to stay more then 179,5 days and leave just before...then no need of filing of absurd forms or getting taxed.

Target the foreigners or farangs...they have more money and leave the thai's alone ? No surprising why foreigners stop comming back.

Drugs, booze, STD disease, GHB related assaults...all set for a great time of these fine quality visitors.

What will be next ? Harass foreigners who are themselves doing say a paint job inside their own homes by themselves ?? Some absurd official will consider it as work also and try some tricks for a treat ?

I prefer to drink once or twice a mounth on a social outing but nothing more. Excessive or reglar alcohool boozing makes people into brainless veggies, unable to control or to think in their minds. And they don't even realise that they are going to their doom. Sad as most of the falang drunks in Thailand are just lonely souls trying to forget their past in the west.

A clear reflect on how gender has nothing to do with workplace issues or equality. Once in power, women are no better then men. It is the power that corrupts and establishes inequality on the workplace and that has nothing to do with a male-female issue.

When one sees how many of these bully type farangs behave, it is not surprising. Such people must be deported on the spot. But society also must contain itself and not enter into generalisations. Just because many thai ladies are in "adult entertainement happy end parlours" does it mean all women are easy ones and available ? Just because some farangs are real jerks does that mean they are all bad ? The answer is obvious.

Concerns could arise with the public unrest it can creat if the party is dissolved. This could lead to the army once again hitting the streets to contain the unrest and the next chapter will be a bis repetita placent of the past: the brown uniforms will be back to rule ? hopefully it won't happen but nobody knows. This will surely scare away foreign investment anyhow.

Maintenance is less on electric cars for sure. But the price tag to get it maintained will increase for the owner. Thus, it will hit back on sales and people will stick to their fossil run cars as long as they can.
