They say Android TV boxes are illegal for sometime in Thailand and can get on into trouble. VPN is great but Netflix seems to block when they detect a know Ip address via VPN ? So what alternative ?

You have a point but if they want to prosper with farang money, it's totally the wrong way. People come to Thailand to relax and enjoy at crashed prices. Not to waste energy or to get annoyed with hateful negotiations and people trying to cheat them.

Arrogant or rude people with inflated egos, who think they can repair anything and end up in having to call a qualified tech and pay triple, to mend their mess.......are far worse, IMHO.

What I love is when people running service businesses try to manipulate, make one feel guilty and start claiming that the price back in the UK, US or Europe is higher, or that you are a Cheap Charlie and other rubbish. Never feel bad and plainly be shameless and find the best deal. Only a fool would pay similar prices in Thailand as compared with those back home.

I do not pay that much in my Thai Bank nor my bank in Europe for an ATM service so if you consider normal to pay that much per month to some scamming US bank who could end up bankrupt in the next US bank crisis...... "555555"

Apple Music and mainly Amazon TV and it's music that is free and then you must pay. Terrible choice of films on the basic subscription and any decent movie is to pay more. Cancel it unless you use the prime free delivery. If not no point on Amazon TV neither. Best is to get a TV with a satelite dish and watch all your programs.

Was expecting some sort of answer like yours, but you are not the only foreigner in Thailand, Many people all over Bangkok Hua Hin Phuket have terrible experiences and have to go back and forth with absurd document requests. If you like to waste your time doing going back and forth between immigration offices in your village, your embassy in Bangkok etc etc, no problem. 5555 and even 6666 if you please.

As a foreigner you will be denied many things in Thailand.

Even if not concerned, the falang retiree wlll have to file all kinds of documents from home country tax, new hassles and enter another spiral of Thai bureaucracy and the risk to bang into new rules invented by the tax clerk just like as in some immigration or DLT offices. No thanks, Start looking around other foreigner friendly countries in Asia who will treat us farangs a bit better. Up to you if you want to spend all your retirement between immigration or now the tax office.

It is time to wake up in the 21st century use a bit of intelligence if possible and accept that most educated and well balanced people non-thai or thai of the new generations, do not give a hoot anymore about anyobdys skin colour. I have nothing against gays, ladyboys or all the current trends. Everybody has their rights and must be treated with due respect and no discrimination. But encouraging teens, kids to go through sex-gender changes should be considered a crime. A child is not responsible and cannot decide any gender change. Even a young adult can have confused ideas. Such sex changes should not be encouraged amongst teens as many countries in Europe are promoting. The (worthless) UN should ask member nations to implement domestic laws that require at least 30 years of age before doing all these costly mutations of gender. It is becomming a racket that is making billions for the opportunists who offer the hormonal and surgery services.
