Alpha Dog 2006 A crime story inspired by actual events. Interestingly I heard of this movie after watching a youtube video about the actual crime. So I went in fully spoiled. The movie which doesn't pretend to purely follow all facts got just OK reviews but has some standup acting performances. I think I enjoyed it more knowing the true story in advance and I also think the movie holds up well indeed better than the reviews over time. Up to you whether you want to learn the true story first yourself. 00
