Not for anyone who has been paying attention to what that horrible man has done and said. I get it. You don't get it. Dictator types historically get MUCH WORSE if they lose power and regain. Trump back in power means the end of American democracy. That is not an extreme outlier interpretation in the slightest.

Fascist dictatorship. American democracy gutted. The constitution gutted. Minorities at risk of their lives even more than now. Fundamentalist Christian theocracy. Abortion made illegal or severely restricted nationally. Criminalization of LGBT people. No more real elections. Loyalty to dear leader Trump tests of all federal employees and firing all those who fail. Criminalization of opposition journalists as under Putin. Takeover of election processes in the majority of states to make it impossible for there ever to be fair elections again. Yes they would still have "elections" just as Putin's Russia still has elections. Screwing Ukraine in favor of genocidal war criminal Putin (who Trump clearly loves).

Good (albeit predictable) news. Reports are now that a deal is getting closer whereby both sides can claim sound kind of win. You'd have to be insane (like Trump who openly advocated for it) to think defaulting is even remotely acceptable. Of course it's not over until the fat lady etc. One thing I wonder about. The 14th amendment gambit was rejected as it was too late. Is it possible to test the 14th amendment (which makes debt default impossible) in the supreme court during a non crisis timeline to wipe out the prospect of financial terrorism in the future?

I'm not clear what you're saying. Biden ALREADY announced this April and at least at this point no democratic party primary presidential debates are planned because no serious challenger has come forward (and most likely none will). Trump would also be a lame duck if he wins but it's well understand if he gets power again (by election, coup, or civil war) he'll be there for life. The only scenario where Biden isn't nominated is because of a health crisis.

My guess is it may go much further than that. "Medical" preparations, tinctures, etc. are much HIGHER PROFIT cannabis products than the very popular flower. I also assume they want to lock in taxation. I have no problem with the taxation part but although what we have now is a relative free for all where this is headed could be a grade A bummer.
