I don't think he is right wing and I don't think his criteria are worthless either. He is very much for a Palestinian state. That is not right wing. Of course that housing thing was very wrong. You're wrong to not get the antisemitic aspect with some criticism of Israel. It is different. One might criticize the Brazilian government's treatment of indigenous. But people don't say Brazil doesn't deserve to exist or defend itself. But many people say stuff like that about Israel all the time.

It was in the context of a mutli post discussion that included the topic of some criticism of Israel being legit and some infected with antisemitism. There was never an accusation that you were posting antisemitic criticisms. This circular loop discussion is over! I will no longer feed this ridiculousness.

Just stop.it! I never accused you of that. I don't know what kind of cynical game you're playing but I have been.very clear that criticism of Israeli policies per se is certainly not antisemitism. Of course that includes Palestinian issues. But sometimes it is. If you haven't seen it then you live a very sheltered life.

It's like you didn't even.read my post OR you're in denial that there actually is such a thing as Israel demonization that is antisemitic. Here is a way to tell legit criticism from the antisemitic variety: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Three_Ds_of_antisemitism The "three Ds" or the "3D test" of antisemitism is a set of criteria which was formulated by Israeli politician Natan Sharansky in order to distinguish legitimate criticism of Israel from antisemitism. The three Ds stand for delegitimization, demonization, and double standards, each of which, according to the test, indicates antisemitism.[1][2] The test is intended to draw the line between legitimate criticism of the State of Israel, its actions and policies, and non-legitimate criticism which becomes antisemitic.

Mostly true. But some "criticism" of the Israeli government is not normal criticism. It's more like Israel doesn't deserve to exist kind of rhetoric. Also Israel was founded as a homeland for the Jewish people. Jewish is not only a religion. It's more like an ethnoreligious kind of thing like the Kurds. Most of the Jews I know are not religious. They are still Jews.

That's a fair point. World means world. For example I would like to see a topic about the consequential election in Colombia.

Regarding this comment: Cruz refused to countenance gun control and President Biden appeared toothless to act. Perhaps non Americans don't understand that US presidents in general not only Biden don't have dictator powers. They can issue executive orders around the margins but they are subject to instant cancelation when a new president is elected. So any real change must be legislated and for that to happen 10 republicans must join all the senate democrats. In other words either nothing or nothing very significant will pass.

That report is completely unbelievable. In actuality for combo method if accepted at all, you must: Show Thai bank account following the balance maintenance rules as enforced by your office for combos There may also be a base minimum balance at your office. These rules roughly mirror 800k bank method rules but as applied to combo method may be subject to local office interpretation. For the income part the income must be imported every month, missing not even one month, and coded as a foreign transfer.. Yes approach your local office for their specific combo enforcement rules. Enjoy.

Elite Visa VS Retirement Visa
Jingthing replied to TheLaughingMan's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
The 90 day reporting service is only for the Bangkok area. Currently living in Pattaya, the online 90 reporting upgrade is super super easy so to me such a service would have no value even if available. -
Elite Visa VS Retirement Visa

I'm unclear on the HEALTH INSURANCE requirements when on the Elite. Upon application. Required or not? If required, what specs exactly? When doing in country extensions. Required or not? If required, what specs exactly? When reentering Thailand when you get a new one year stamp. Required or not? If required, what specs exactly? -
CNN is a reasonably reliable news source. When they do make mistakes, they acknowledge them. I don't think invoking charges of antisemitism is helpful or relevant on this matter. A very popular journalist was killed. People of good faith regardless of their views on the Israeli Palestinian conflict will want the truth to come out, and any guilty parties to be punished.

Chadchart Joins Bangkok Naruemit Pride 2022 Announcement
Jingthing replied to snoop1130's topic in Bangkok News
Well, having a sexual orientation is not an accomplishment per se. You are what you are. But often for sexual minorities coming to terms with the social implications of what you are often in hostile environments to live a good life anyway actually is an accomplishment worthy of pride. A good example: -
