Torrents and bum guns are the best things about living in Thailand. -
As far as I'm concerned a Russian wearing a Z in Pattaya is telegraphing to me that she supports war crimes and genocide of Ukraine. Pick a side.

Russians that tell you they are/were against the annexation of Crimea are almost definitely lying. That was massively popular among Russians. Of course the current invasion is something else, and less popular. I'm sure you could tell if the swastika was a Nazi style one or not. I assume it was a Nazi style one because you reacted to it. I have seen explicit Hitlerian images worn by Thais. I cringe but it's not worth confronting Thais as it's almost always about fashion or they think Hitler is cute.

Ukraine invasion may be start of ‘third world war’, says George Soros
Jingthing replied to webfact's topic in World News
The way you frame your question misses the point and suggests that you probsbly didn't read the article you were replying to. Here's more: https://www.thedailybeast.com/theres-been-a-george-soros-for-every-era-of-antisemitic-panic From Russia to Hungary to, now, Donald Trump’s America, a rising authoritarianism plays on an atavistic European hatred. We live in the Soros Age of Anti-Semitism. -

In case anyone doesn't know this already. https://www.forbes.com/sites/sethcohen/2020/09/12/the-troubling-truth-about-the-obsession-with-george-soros/?sh=7a1a8fbd4e2e The Troubling Truth About The Obsession With George Soros The internet has once again exploded with a surge of social media posts about George Soros, with far-right activists and QAnon conspiracy theorists posting wildly imaginative claims related to the billionaire philanthropist. But behind the spectacle of paranoid outrage, there is a troubling and undeniable truth about the constant attacks on George Soros: Anti-Semitism. -

Ukraine invasion may be start of ‘third world war’, says George Soros
Jingthing replied to webfact's topic in World News
Yeah sure and Putin was going to take Kyiv and de-Nazify Zelinsky in 3 days. -
I'm not worried but I do recall in the past it was frustrating because there were always some topics that obviously should be covered but there was no mechanism for user generated suggestions.

Thanks for that. I tend to avoid most chains so that's news to me.

Ukraine invasion may be start of ‘third world war’, says George Soros

Yes please post a credible source breakdown. Good idea. The US support for the aid package was strongly bipartisan. The only opposition was a faction of far right wing ultra maga isolationalist Putin sympathizers. -

Please prove that assertion with a credible source if such exists. If not your post is just another typical Soros demonization conspiracy theory item. -

My prediction made earlier in this topic comes true. -
Thank you for bringing it back.

That's ridiculous. Reuters especially is highly objective and credible. https://mediabiasfactcheck.com/reuters/ LEAST BIASED These sources have minimal bias and use very few loaded words (wording that attempts to influence an audience by using appeal to emotion or stereotypes). The reporting is factual and usually sourced. These are the most credible media sources. See all Least Biases sources. Yes the death toll is higher than originally reported and also indications that he was bullied. No laws will be changed. This is America. -

What Soros is saying is obvious. But the worse case is not definitely the actual case. But that said and knowing his thoughts on this are not unusual.or novel, I think he shouldn't have said them. Why? His name alone triggers so many haters and anti-semites. I'm sure such lowlifes are spouting lies that it is Soros himself intentionally planning these dark outcomes. -

Thoughts and prayers. Presidential visit. Rinse and repeat. The world wonders whats gone wrong. Americans know. If nothing changed after Sandy Hook, nothing is ever going to change. -
Is bitcoin a climate killing Ponzi scheme?
Jingthing replied to Jingthing's topic in Cryptocurrency News
I'm NOT gonna say I told you so. https://www.washingtonpost.com/opinions/2022/05/20/crypto-bitcoin-dogecoin-ethereum-crashing/ Crypto is a solution in search of a problem Inflation keeps rising, stocks keep falling, a war rages in Europe, and the budding market for cryptocurrencies and other digital confections is vaporizing by the day. None of this is cause for joy. But the crypto implosion at least has a cleansing benefit: It offers an opportunity to mop up a speculative and overhyped mess that has gotten badly out of control, snookering gullible investors in the process. -
I also went for the spaghetti vongole and minestrone.

Aha. You mean the place that long ago was known as the 80 baht spaghetti joint?
