  1. No different from SOME of the people on here.
  2. I applied for the 5 yr to 20yr upgrade in early September...nothing back yet. I guess no real rush to get through these though.
  3. But nobody cares what you think. You don’t even live here.
  4. Right. Not sure it offers anything more than soi 15 though. I quite like the lower rise condos now - no lift issues and get to know neighbours in your block. Bit of a community feel.
  5. The problem with the larger new ones in that 6m price is they squeeze 2 small bedrooms out of that. I just want one big one. Unixx - not keen on location. Awkward for the baht bus and the dog situation would worry me at night. Where i am now is probably the closest to 'perfect'.
  6. I need to live somewhere whereby i feel 'proud' to live there. Same as living in a nice street in UK. I don't get that feeling with older condo's. I don't like any of those view talay ones, including VT6. The 'garden' condo's on soi 15 are ok. Not too old and reasonable sqm. I can't live in jomtien or pratumnak, they just hold no interest.
  7. I went to look at Once pattaya on 3rd road (north pattaya end). 35sqm were 4m ...higher floors more, lower were a bit less. But its too small, i couldn't live in that size. Bigger ones about 6m. My central pattaya rent is 22k/m for 53sqm. Will be increasing next year. These condos seem to age fast though. I've hate paying rent, but its negligible so no big deal. Keep renting for now.
  8. So nearly 70 then! ...ok in thailand its no problem attracting a 40 year old. 30 years younger for me would be an 18 year old! No thanks.
  9. If your savings level is risky here, then i can't imagine moving to a higher cost country will help. Maybe you get free healthcare or something and you need some treatment?? I could support multiple lazy bargirls. Nice to have options. Three wives by 50 though - now thats some story for another day!
  10. I'm not so sure i'd be adding funny emoji's. You're the one behind the curve who needs to keep working until 60 or more. As i said, not enviable ????
  11. Appears i spelt/spelled it correctly. Check the oxford dictionary ????
  12. Don't get excited ...i gots me a hangover right now ????
  13. £600k at age 50. Unless you suddenly increase your earnings thats not an enviable position. And thats for two people. I would never buy buy elite visa with such modest capital.
  14. Asean now is a peculiar place. 2:14am and i am posting after a pleasant night out. Only because i am at home.
  15. Apparently its a paperwork issue. But surely there was more paperwork in the 3 divorces? or is it only 2 with potentially a 3rd 555
  16. Who cares? nobody Lets not deflect ...you can't fund a proper visa, so now you are hating. Ok up to you.
  17. Off to serbia. Sounds lovely 555
  18. A tax return? Oh no. Its all so new to me 55 No i paid an agent 4000 baht to open one before i paid for elite. All negligible mate.
  19. Paid for itself in about 6 months. Essentially it was free ????
  20. Its not a fake credit card its actually the membership card that immigration want to see when doing annual renewals - which i don't have to do, i can just fly out and back in again. Just applied for 20 year upgrade. Negligible in the grand scheme. How do i win? ...geo-arbitrage
  21. Yes, its a lot for some people.
  22. Under 50 here. No begging needed. Enjoy the UK ????
  23. 1. Full asking price on my house (a lot of hard work by me to achieve that) 2. Boarding that one-way flight to thailand (bit scary though)
