The victim, identified as Mr. Parinya 38, a resident of Sung Noen District in Nakhon Ratchasima, showed no signs of foul play. Initial assessments suggested severe internal injuries resulting in his death. Nearby, investigators discovered a makeshift ladder made of bamboo branches leaning against a large tree, presumably used by the victim to climb up. According to a friend who reported the incident, Mr. Parinya had been hired to work on the farm and had been guarding the area at night to prevent wild gaurs from destroying the crops. On the night of the accident, he climbed the tree to monitor the field for potential wildlife intrusions. It is believed he slipped and fell, losing consciousness on impact. According to the truck driver, Mr. Samo he was driving from Laem Chabang and was heading towards a factory near the crash site to pick up goods. Upon reaching the turn onto the old Nong Prue Road, he saw the motorcycle far off in the distance. As he made the U-turn, he heard a noise from the side of the truck. He then moved the truck to the shoulder and stopped to find the two injured individuals. Authorities are reviewing CCTV footage from the scene to gather further evidence. Upon receiving the report, he immediately notified Police Colonel Pojanakorn Kanjina, Superintendent of Muang Ang Thong Police Station, and rushed to the scene with investigators, forensic officers, and medical personnel from Ang Thong Hospital. At the scene, inside Room 10, the lifeless body of Ms. Patamaporn 30, was found lying near the bathroom. She had suffered over 20 stab wounds to her neck, face, torso, and arms. A knife approximately 30 centimetres long was discovered in the bathroom sink. Authorities estimate she had been dead for less than two hours. The room showed signs of a violent struggle, with scattered belongings and an overturned fan. Outside the rental unit, police found a Toyota Yaris car with a deflated rear-left tyre. The incident occurred at 05:40 on December 13, on Highway 331, near the Forest Department U-turn in Khao Mai Kaew, Bang Lamung District, Chonburi. The Sawang Boriboon Pattaya Rescue Centre received the emergency call and dispatched rescue volunteers along with a medical team from Bang Lamung Hospital to the scene. At the site, authorities found a black Honda Scoopy motorcycle, registration from Rayong, heavily damaged at the front. Nearby, the injured rider, 18-year-old Ms. Usanee Khantongdee, lay in critical condition. She suffered severe head trauma, had no pulse, and was unresponsive. Rescue personnel and medics performed CPR at the scene before rushing her to the hospital for further treatment. The other vehicle involved was an Isuzu Deca 18-wheeler truck, registered in Bangkok. The rear of the trailer showed signs of impact. The truck driver, 33-year-old Mr. Akkaradej Chaisen, remained at the scene to cooperate with authorities. Mr. Akkaradej stated that he had parked his truck on the roadside along with several other vehicles while waiting to deliver goods to Rayong. He was resting in the cab when a passerby knocked on his window to inform him of the collision. He immediately called for assistance.
