The worker had his legs and other parts blown apart by the cylinder, he is seen just breathing as rescue workers attempt to help him, The picture below shows covered body parts, white sheets and where responders attempted to save him is under the orange umbrella It is now also been reported that this involved an acetylene cylinder, which seems more likely as acetylene is a lot more unstable and the area was closed down for most of the day.   2. Here is the proof for you, This is the video of the rescue foundation ambulance, responding on the night. I have edited the video, so it starts at the Pussycat Bar and stops as it arrives at the scene, opposite the beer wholesaler, as I do not want to cause grief to anyone by showing the crash and casualty. So maybe before you start abusing me, you should look in the mirror. I provided all the evidence you need, but you lack the ability to understand. I suggested you drive that way and see for yourself.   3. Maybe, but surely there are many others, children, parents and temple visitors, who can confirm the details. The investigation is going to be difficult, but not impossible., given the small size of the building, construction and amount of damage. The pictures of the poor children, does indicate that there were unaware/asleep when the fire happened. Autopsy may also help to show how the fire developed, from the amount of smoke in the lungs and windpipe.
  4. Really what reality are you on. My posts are based on the full facts and reviewing the responders videos from the night. This accident happened outside the beer wholesaler, the ambulance dash cam at the scene and the google maps image, clearly show the same signage. Images posted again to try to educate you. I know what I am talking about, you definitely do not.

This picture of the aircraft’s flight data, clearly shows that media reports of a massive drop are wrong, the aircraft hit some short violent turbulence, which throw the unbelted passengers/crew around and then the aircraft did a controlled descent, from 37,000 feet to 31,000 feet, at a steady rate of about 2000 feet per minute, which is normal pilot technique to escape bad weather or maybe Air Traffic Control (ATC) required it after the pilot requested the divert to BKK. Turbulence will cause the height of the airplane to fluctuate +/- no more than 100-500 feet. The higher value being considered very severe.

Given the age of this aircraft, it is not clear what type of switch is fitted on this 777, but if fitted the automatic switch will have 3 settings; Seat belt sign switch ON: the “fasten seat belt” and the “return to seat” signs come on in the cabin. Seat belt sign switch AUTO the signs automatically come on in the cabin when; the slats are extended, or the landing gear is extended, or the link to the aircraft systems detects something like turbulence. Seat belt sign switch OFF, the signs are off. The switch is operated manually from the cockpit, but the sign can also be turned on from the cabin crew panel. Full details will be in the investigation report. This is taken from a previous report, into a similar turbulence event involving a Singapore Airlines aircraft, which recommended improving their turbulence management guidelines.
  8. The difference between my comments and yours, are mine are correct. I posted the pictures to try to explain to you where it happened. Most of your posts are irrelevant details.   10. I am not sure if you understand where this accident occurred, as it happened nowhere near the 7/11. The ambulance with the dash cam, shows it route down Soi Nern Plub Wan and there was no flooding. The CCTV posted in the link to the Irish Sun, was from the beer wholesaler.
  11. Thai media reported. “Today at 15.00 Nonthaburi Province, Pol. Col. Suthachai Traisomboon, Deputy Commander and forensic teams traveled to inspect the burned temple structure. This building was found to have been built about 20 years ago, and was steel framed, with wood walls, The buildings are used for visiting monks, but as the temple does not have monks regularly visiting, it was being used for the children, but it remains unclear if they had permission. The interior was completely destroyed by the fire and a fan was found to be the only electrical appliance. Questions earlier, had been raised to if the door was locked, but smoke staining seem to confirm that the door was unlocked and could have been opened before the fire. It is believed that the three children were probably asleep when the fire started and were initially overcome by smoke. The investigation will continue.”

  13. Agree on some points, but passengers seem to be saying this was a short event, that may have lasted only about 10 seconds. Thai video link with a passengers account posted above. The accounts of when/if the seat belt light came/was on will always differ, but it will be verified during the investigation, from both the data and cockpit voice recorders The event was very violent, described as like being on a roller coaster, hence the injuries. A pilot analyse I posted above stated that the reduction of height was standard procedure, in turbulence. The pilots priority would be flying the aircraft and they would be unaware of the injuries until cabin crew update them. After becoming aware of the injuries the pilot used a transponder Squawk Code 7700, which indicates an emergency to ATC (Air Traffic Control). Once the flight has been stabilised the pilot informed ATC that it had a mass casualty emergency event and wished to divert to BKK, and required medical support to be on standby. BKK Airport/AOT (Airports of Thailand) put into place their emergency response plan, with RVP (Rendezvous Point) for responders in the car park, with AOT staff and escort vehicles meeting them, a forward incident command post was set up at the airport fire station. Initial triage started on the aircraft, but a full triage area was soon set up below the plane, as can be seen in the pictures with the colour coded tents. The full facts will be covered by the investigation, and I would expect an interim report will not take that long, as the plane and ‘black boxes’ are easily accessible. Thailand seems to be leading the investigation throught the Ministry of Transport, CAAT (Civil Aviation Authority of Thailand) and AAIC (The Aircraft Accident Investigation Committee of Thailand). They will be supported by teams from USA, NTSB (National Transport Safety Board), as a Boeing aircraft and also Singapore’s TSIB (Transport Safety Investigation Bureau).

On the night of the accident the road, Soi Nern Plub Wan, was still fully closed, so all traffic had to go up Soi Map Yai Lai 24.(picture below is from the dash cam of an ambulance responding to the scene.The second picture is arriving at the accident scene, from the same ambulance.) I do not post links to the responders videos out of respect, one posters has said it was a personal friend, and they are not suitable for general viewing. Friends of the casualty are seen at the accident scene.
  15. On May 21, it is reported that, Mr. Chulaphong. Thaweesri, Director-General of the Department of Industrial Works, and Mr. Traiphop Wongtrairat, Governor of Rayong Province, held a meeting with relevant agencies, to try to find a solution for disposal of the aluminum dross waste, after being rejected because of protests at the Chonburi factory. The waste will now be stored in large bags on site, to prevent it getting wet and to reduce the smell effecting villagers, as at this time, they cannot find a contractor to deal with the disposal and may have to wait until the 4.6 million baht is received from the court, to appoint one.. Mr. Traiphop revealed that the problem It has been piling up for so long that villagers have lost confidence in the government sector, and hoped to expedite solving the problem, to help improve public relations with the people in the area
  16. Yes sad, but also fortunate there were not more casualties, as this was in the middle of a residential area.
  17. This accident did not happen on Soi Nern Plub Wan, it was on Soi Map Yai Lia 24, because the road works, you show in the picture, diverts all traffic up that road. That is a lot smaller road, it does have some street lighting, but on the night it was raining and visibility was not good, as seen from video from the scene.
  18. I previously has a one year Thai marriage extension and one year work visa in another local country, immigration in both countries never raised any issues when traveling in and out, or when it was extension time.
  19. At 11.07 today, responders from Nong Khaem Fire and Rescue Station were called to a fire at 2-story townhouse on Soi Phetkasem 77/8, Nong Khaem. The premises was being used as a weilding shop and the fire was caused by an oxygen tank that had exploded inside. One worker was found dead.   20. It is reported that the body was found by a female street cleaner. 11.20 Rescue workers have cut through the concrete base to allow access and removal of the body, and for forensic officers to examine the scene.
  21. The body of a man, believed dead for several days, has been discovered, in the space under a old electrical cabinet, near Romklao Road, Min Buri. As at the time of this post, rescue workers are still trying to recover the body.

  23. Thai Police spokesman, Pol. Lt. Gen. Achayon confirmed that an autopsy will be carried out in Thailand. He said that the body had been sent to the Chakri Naruebodindra Medical Institute, for the autopsy.
