  1. Even when that place was super busy I’d always go late and yeah it’s empty when you go late. The early arrival thing is like an old man expat deranged syndrome.m
  2. That’s good to know. The nice part is even if I failed I could still get back to Thailand and get 30 days and go to Laos.
  3. I’ve got some avocado trees going too. Don’t have much hope. Idk how you guys stay out there long term. Two weeks and I’m pulling my hair out.
  4. I hope this doesn’t deter the thread. It difficult finding this info and knowing if it’s up to date on the consulate websites. honestly idk why I need a reason, but maybe I don’t like Laos, I’d rather go somewhere else and take a short vacation plus get the visa. Ie I’d like to go to Philippines but I really don’t wanna go to Laos, just not that interested
  5. I know of course you can get a one year multiple entry in savanakhette, laos with a thai wife and 400k baht in the bank. Can you do the same in: Philippines? indonesia? Cambodia? Japan? Tawain? Any country relatively nearby you wish to chime in on? Thanks.
  6. Living with mil is literal hell
  7. Who knows what’s in there. For all we know there could be a datchip in there tacking us. My beef with this passport “feature” topic is *they* decide what nonsensical features to put in the passport at our cost. If we put it to a vote I’m sure we’d all vote for the cheapest, simplest passports possible. But no, we have to pay to have ourselves tracked and traced and lord knows what else. Nobody should have to pay for passports anyway they should be funded by our federal taxes. I wonder what would happen if that was put up to a vote in our “democracy”. Thx for attending my tedtalk #2 on scams and dumb government fees
  8. Why give a customer his money back when you can just put it in his “wallet” that he can’t use?
  9. They could also likely just “refund” a bank payment if they wanted. But it’s a huge mystery why they don’t have this option, huh?
  10. If it’s none sense why wouldn’t lazada simply ask for your bangkok bank account number (the account you bought the item from), and refund it that way? Hint: there’s no good answer to that except they won’t do that because their return system is a SCAM
  11. Reviews are a scam too. I wrote only a couple reviews, one thing was completely unfuctional. The battery didn’t work. Wrote the review and then checked the review. Somehow they pushed the review to the very back of the line where nobody would ever see it haha
  12. Let me guess, he was a teacher at an all girls Catholic school
  13. Yes. They designed it to be like that I’m sure. I ask them why I can’t just spend my own money and they act like I am the crazy one
  14. I have credit on laz wallet and I can’t use it unless I go through some ridiculous process that would likely take me an hour or more
  15. I came to the thoughtful conclusion lazada is a scam on returns. They do everything in their power to ensure you can’t or won’t return. I still use them and I just never return anything anymore. It still comes out worth it with some of the dealz I get on there
  16. They should give 11 years on passports. As it stands you get 9 and change because all the surrounding countries and visa processes won’t allow less than a certain number of months. Passports should be free too; meaning our taxes should pay for them. Thx for attending my tedtalk on bs taxes and fees
  17. I actually do have hope that this gets fixed because 1) we know it’s possible as cities like LA have made major improvements and 2) it’s not one of these issues that does *not* effect the people in power. It does affect them, so I maintain hope… which I often do not.
  18. Bed sheets are important and worth the investment. I didn’t even realize this until I had to sleep without ac for about a week and the all cotton sheets and pillowcase really miles better than whatever that other “blend” stuff is. IKEA has decent prices on a few nice 100% cotton sheets. I only buy the fitted sheet.
  19. I think most of those people get weeded out sooner or later though. And what your left with is the people who are actually motivated to be around little kids 8 hours a day. And you’ve gotta wonder why because please folks, nobody likes that shiit
  20. Or more, accurately, teachers + a certain % of people who are sexually attracted to children I’ve been around teachers, never once have I heard the sentiment “can’t wait till Monday to get back to my screaming, out of control thai classroom”
  21. How many are left in place? I once saw a foreign teacher slap a thai boy on the ass for doing something wrong. I hardly could believe my eyes, as the kids just got on as it was normal.
  22. Do these one year non o Multiple entry start the “one year” on the application approval date or is it the date you first enter Thailand?
  23. Teachers freak me out. Who willingly wants to spend all their time around Little kids?
  24. Whoever wrote that title was assuming the goal is to end wars. What on earth would give the author that idea. Wars are like a successful restaurant with lines out the door every evening. Why would these people just shut the restaurant down?
  25. Me deflect? lol go ahead and address the issue at hand all you want: the scoreboard for babies suffocated under rubble. Who exactly has a higher count?
