I was bored out of my mind in Pattaya

Have you tried Hua Hin, Chiang Mai and Samui? Bangkok is not good for older people I don't think. -

The only difference between a good day and a bad day is attitude. You seem to have it figured out. -

Water is cheap to buy. Try Hua Hin, nice place. Lots of beaches. -

The gym I went to in Hua Hin was a mix of ages but more young than old and a mix of genders. Chiang Mai could be the same. -

I found a gym in Hua Hin charging 890 baht per month. It had everything and wasn't busy. Looking at Bangkok gyms they seem to charge a fair bit more and Pattaya gyms look expensive online. -

People with partners and kids are always busy. Then they might smoke and drink too. If you don't have those things in your life you need to fill up your time with several activities. Maybe look at other sports or find a partner. -

The only activity he listed was going to the gym. You need more than 1 hobby if you are going to stay in one area. -

Travel with a 10kg bag, wash your clothes in room and hang on balcony or pay for washing. -

Retirement anywhere won't be fun unless you have some hobbies to enjoy. -

You had a 6 week holiday and hated it. Maybe just stay working til the time ends. Not everyone enjoys relaxing. Or at least learn how to plan a holiday. Most people would visit 5 to 10 locations in 6 weeks. -

You went to Pattaya for 6 weeks to be with these types of people. So you choose a terrible holiday and only have yourself to blame. Have you never heard of Khao Sok or Ko Maak or another place other than Pattaya? -

Maybe he prepaid all his room costs because he doesn't know any better. He could have gone to Ko Samet, Ko Chang, Ko Kood, Ko Maak. He could have gone to Kanchanaburi or Khao Sok NP. Instead he watched guys get drunk and wasted his 6 weeks. Almost impossible to not have fun on a 6 week trip but he managed it. -

Some things to do will include dating, gym, beach walks, reading, trying new restaurants. Exploring different parts of a city. I went to Khao San Road and walked a block to see the other roads. Found a nice restaurant. I found an amazing gym in Hua Hin and a great reataurant nearby. I found a really nice condo in Chiang Mai. Thailand has some fantastic gyms and some are only 50 to 150 baht a day. Going to 4 different gyms is an experience in itself. In those areas check out the restaurants, talk to others at a gym. Life is what you make of it. -
You went to Pattaya to see doctors? Try doing something else.

You can tie an exercise band around them and use it like a V bar. -
I went to Hua Hin for 2 weeks and loved it.

With pushups you put chest to floor not your todger. Go back and do another 200 correctly.
