Travel Bangkok Ranks 6th Among World's Most Expat-Friendly Cities
PuiPuiHarry replied to snoop1130's topic in Bangkok News
Yea, very friengly. Every year deep on your knees, at the total decission of the immigration officer if you allowed to stay one more year or not. No influence about how long you are there already. No way you can ever be citizen of the country, like e.g. the EU, where you can apply for citizenship after 5 years stay and own means of support... I visit Thailand since 1993, businesswise, and never came out of the conclusion I am only TOLERATED as long as I bring a lot of money in. -
Is This Going to Happen
PuiPuiHarry replied to baansgr's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
When you (filthy rich) farangs finally are going to understand you are only tolereted in Thailand als long as you bring in a LOT of money, with hardly anything in return, close to zero rights, and do NOT danger Thai jobs ? Bye-the-way: compare it with the Thai /other nationals migrating in your own country. In most EU countries you can apply after 5 years to their citizenship, have voting rights etc. as an "native", In the USA you can even illegally be deported to a <deleted>-hole in El Salvador, whatever even the Supreme Court says about it, as Emperor "grab-them-by-the-pussy" Trump does whatever pleases him. -

So, Putin invaded Ukraine, and as reward his big friend in the White House awards him with quite some territory, makes Ukraine a more-or-less vasal state of the Kremlin by not allowing them to join any defense organisation. And the Ukrain government has ZERO to say about what is dictated by the Most Superior Deal Maker in Human History, who even did not succeed to get his opponent, Putin, at the phone at the moment which was agreed. See Putin smiling on TV during a meeting with Russian CEO's when one remembered him he shoud be at the phone with Trump at that time.

Dollar seen as risky currency status alert
PuiPuiHarry replied to 3NUMBAS's topic in Political Soapbox
For an US citizen, yes, all is priced in US$., because... that currencey is accepted in many countries and is very easy to convert. However, when the TRUST in this currency is going to slip away, thanks to the Wisest Dealmaker in Human History, the Never Lying, "grab-them-by-the-pussy" president of the USA... we will soon see a US$ as junk currency. US$ 9.000 BILLION to re-finance this year, a State debt as of April 3rd, 2025, gross national debt is $36.22 trillion= 7 % of the GDP, I am curious how the world will respond. -

When we might receive the payback of the USA for spreading the Spanish Flue over Europe and back to the USA again at the end of WW1, with an estimate of 75+ million casualties ? "The disease was taken to Europe by US troops where it spread throughout Britain and France during 1918.1 There were three waves of the virus as it mutated, and these became more and more virulent as the disease spread worldwide." see ://jmvh.org/article/the-navy-and-the-1918-19-influenza-pandemic/ or ://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC2862337/ or Spanish flue spread by US troops transport ships WW1 - Zoeken Video's Remind: thanks to a total imbicile, the "grab-them-by-the-pussy" president of the USA, a lot of time was wasted to slow down the covid-pandemy in the USA ( same in the U+K, thanks to Johnson). And till now, even the present Secretary of Health, his unlimited medical whisdom, Kennedy, the situation is still "vaccination is of no use". With some "luck" mazzles will show how stupid the Yanks still are. 97% of the infected are non-vaccinated.

With for many imported items a 1-4 % import duty of goods from outside the EU, a big deal. Total value of levied import duty of US goods the EU in, as about a 1,25 %. Only His Always Lying, Unendless Wise "grab-them-by-the-pussy", president of the USA, made his own calculation about import tariffs. See https://ec.europa.eu/taxation_customs/dds2/taric/taric_consultation.jsp?Lang=en. For the majority of the Americans to complicated. -

Which tariffs ? Maybe not so clear, but.. His Always Lying, Unendless Wisdom, the “grab-them-by-the-pussy “president of the USA imposed much higher tariffs on what is IMPORTED on goods from outside the USA, on which = much higher product of these products inside the USA. -
His Never Lying, and Unendless Wisdom of the "grab-them-by-the-pussy"president of the USA finally shows the REAL reason for this increase of import duty of goods into the USA: to reduce the gigantic deficit, formed by the laziness and incapability of the US citizens to produce economically. Only by accepting the US$ in gigantic volumes by all other nations, a deficit of US$ 36Trillion was made possible. But now he shows it as "you semi-monkeys, beg for better tariffs , so on your knees in front of the US Emperor for life".

Thai Baht Plummets with US Tariff Blow: 34.50 per Dollar Test Looms
PuiPuiHarry replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
Which high tariffs ? The nonsense calculation THis Unendleiss Lyer, the "grab-them-by-the pussy" president of the USA came with ? Has NOTHING to do with the import tariffs of the several countries. Instead, the reciprocal tariff rate applied to each country was: their trade deficit divided by exports to the U.S., divided by two. If the country has a trade surplus with the U.S., or the number resulting from the above formula was less than 10%, then a flat rate of 10% was applied. For example, the U.S. has a $235.6 billion trade deficit with the European Union, which exports a total of $605.8 billion to the U.S. Based on the White House’s formula, $235.6 divided by $605.8 equals 0.388, which divided by half is 0.194. That number gets rounded up to 0.2, which leads to a 20% tariff rate. A real calculation is too difficult for the no-brainers in the Trump-administration. And many US citizens.. are not able to correct it. -
Just look into the REAL customs duty/tariffs lists, see for the EU https://ec.europa.eu/taxation_customs/dds2/taric/taric_consultation.jsp?Lang=en and NOT in the lying list of Trump "grab them by the pussy" president of the USA ( in any normal country you would go in jail. Only in the USA you can be elected to president of the nation.)

Please show me ONE country, where the EXPORT is taxed. The IMPORT.. yes, many. Every country needs income to pay their State bills. Many countries use income, VAT, company profit etc taxes + some import duty. In Thailand, the source of import duty is very important, as...other taxes are much more difficult to get in. As far as I now, EXPORT tax is levies very seldon, but IMPORT tax often. So, when US goods to go TH, they are NOT taxed in the US as export, but info Thailand as Import. Same the other way round. When Trump, in is unendness and always 100% correct wisdom, decides to increase the IMPORT tax of Thai goods into the US, he hopes the next day the US is able to replace these import goods with domestic production, if companies have production facilities and -lines ready the next day. If not, the imported products will increase in price, at least the amount of import duty is levied on it, so Thai goods a + 37 % when inside the US. I am sure, the pineapple etc production will be grown overnight, so for pineapple the US consumer will have not any disadvantage. ( of has to switch to US grown foods, which is already abundant, therefore no food imports ever into the US). In this example, because Thai pineapple will be a lot more expensive, US consumer will buy less, and Thailand will export less to the US. His Unendless Lying Wishdom forgets, other nations might react with IMPORT tariffs on US products into their countries. Imagine a 25 % import duty on all US produced commercial palanes... Airbus will thank the Trump-the Lyer administration for over a century Second: when their income drops because of less exports to the US, they lack the money to pay for US products. And maybe, as Thailand gets less revenues, they will levy a visa-amount , for instance: for every day an US citizen stays into Thailand, has to pay … e.g. a 5000 THB to compensate their use of Thai legal system ( protection against robbery = police, law system), for the use of infrastructure ( roads, trains etc), and a lot more.

US Tariffs Threaten Thai Economy with B360bn Blow
PuiPuiHarry replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
"Trump's desire to relocate manufacturing and jobs to the United States ": - Does the US has the labour force to fill all these new jobs, especially after kicking out many millions of 'dog eating thiefs, rapers" and other illigal immigrants ? - Do these US citizens want to work for the tariffs workers get in the countries where so much imports into the US comes from / can develop lower costs production lines ? If...why not developed these decades ago ? - Is the US able to build up so many production facilties and -lines to produce all these now imported products in a reasonable time ? Or will many wait till the next president election, after a 7, 11 or 13 years, when His Emperial Highness, Emperor Trump the First finally will resign ( reminding: it is His Unendlies Lyer, "grap them by the pussy" ( in any mnormal country, you would end up in prison), president of the USA, who asked the question in public if there shoud be any other election of a US president anymore) ? - How the US economy will develop, when many countries respond with also higher import duties on US products when entering their countries ? And worse: set up alternative ways of supply, so.. bye-bye to US supply for the coming decades ? Ask the US exporters to Canada about this. Imagine, the world will levy 25% on Boeing and other US made commercial planes ? Airbus c.s. will grand a highest order medal to the US government. Last-but-not-least: NO European bank was, is and will be able to seize Greek or any other nations assest in case of a default. I advise you to study that situation, in which the ECB offered all banks a payment of a 50 %, when they all accepted a 50 % haircut on their loans. This money was guaranteed by all EU national banks, as.. nobody could accept a downfall of Greece, and with that many loans of insurance companies, pension funds, investment banks etc. Only Dragi went far above his allowance, by using a Euro 750 BILLION guarantee. His bluff helped and.. was the cheapest possibility to restory confidende in the Euro.
