Probably because we marry the local prostitutes. Drunken fights over the prostitutes is not a good look either. I think it is fair to say that the prostitutes and their families cherish us, probably don’t respect us, but to expect the general population to respect us is probably asking a bit much. Same as we would expect immigrants to contribute back in the UK instead of just asking for handouts.
