  1. There would be thousands of Thais working in massage shops in the Uk and all throughout Europe.
  2. Ok Bob, Uni girls looking for a “sponsor”, gogo, beer bars, soapys, massage shops, karaoke, hair dresser, “pretties”, models, auto shows, Beach Road, tinder, Thaifreindly etc etc. No money, no honey. I think you said you had a Thai wife? Does she have a brother or a favorite cousin? The Nile is a river in Africa.
  3. I am getting married later this year. My soon to be wife is the best woman I have ever met. We met in London in 2020 during Covid and our love grew from there. She was a single mother at 19 and came from an area in Thailand known for poverty. I don’t think she would have chosen to do it if she had other options. She didn’t do it because she was greedy and a drug addict. She has built a nice home for her parents and her children (she has 2, the youngest I might adopt, but has the body of a teenager) and supported them all and brought them up to a middle class standard of life. She has also bought some land which she rents out and a condo in Pattaya which also gives her some passive income. The culture is different here than in the west and she is highly respected for “taking care” of her family. And sex work is not frowned upon like in the West, with many Thai women doing some sort of sex work at some point of their lives. A lot of them are good girls who don’t even drink alcohol. My girl doesn’t have tattoos and thinks they are “dirty”. Thai women are famous for it all around the world. It is an acceptable occupation for the pretty women to get them out of the poverty trap. My wife is a real head turner. And smart. Very smart. How many people do you know that have never paid for a Thai woman? Not many I bet. A lot of westerners I have met with Thai women make up stories about how they met and you know they are living a lie. A few of my long time friends back home said some nasty things about her and I chose to never speak to them again. Other friends have got to know her and think she is great. Not a single Thai has said anything untoward as it is normal here. I have never been happier and we are at an age that we will happily settle down together. I haven’t got a crystal ball but sometimes you “just know.” Love conquers all.
  4. Quite ironic I merely make a comment on us Brits bashing people from Issan, to Bangkok, to a failed attempt in Pattaya, to the killer in Phuket and you accuse me of being a “Brit basher” when I haven’t hit anyone. And that is just in the last two weeks. And that is just what has been reported on this forum! Because they were caught on film. Up and down the whole country. I am embarrassed by it. Sweeping it under the rug won’t improve the situation. Please remember that we are guests here.
  5. Comes from a farang real estate agent in Pattaya. i couldn’t think of a more reliable source.
  6. My only comment on it was “At least he apologized” Hardly pathetic Brit- bashing drivel as you put it. I only criticized him after reading the other link where it came out that he was a snitch. What do you think of snitches young Richard?
  7. Who are you? Do you work for Thai Immigration also? You and Mr Davis would get along like a house on fire i am thinking. Do you want to see my passport?
  8. I have only slagged off the Brits in the Thai news for the wrong reasons. I have not slagged off anyone on this forum, Brits or Aussies or whoever. And am very grateful for all the help I have received here. Where are you from?
  9. Yep found that. Apologies to all that I have seem to upset posting what I thought was a scoop. Interesting read, he threatened the Thai attendant by saying he worked for the “immigration police”. Imagine if some Arab threatened me in London by saying he was going to report me to the UK Home Office!!!! What a plonker.
  10. Yes a bit strange threatening to grass a Thai National to immigration. If that is his reflex response I would hate to think how many times he has threatened it and how many times he has actually done it.
  11. I did not realize that it had already been reported here. I just saw it in the Thai news. Seems to have triggered some of my fellow countrymen. Attacking the messenger. Interestingly at the bottom of the article they had this……. It is not a good look.
  12. I drank several rounds before driving my daughter into town. On the way back, I stopped at the gas station to fill up. I lost control and was unaware of what was happening. I regret my actions and apologize to the victim and all Thai people. https://www.khaosodenglish.com/news/2024/05/24/british-man-apologizes-for-punching-udon-thani-gas-station-attendant/?utm_source=khaosodenglish.com_internal&utm_medium=internal&utm_campaign=khaosodenglish.com_internal&utm_content=1221338209&utm_term=1463572 At least he apologized.
  13. This case stemmed from the arrest of a British man by Chalong Police Station in Phuket for carrying a gun into a pub. Upon further investigation, a connection to Mr. Grey was found. Squealed like a pig.
  14. You gotta watch those clowns. They pop up on all my threads telling me I can’t do anything, despite other people already doing it? They usually post early. Trick is to let it run a bit and give the posters with actual life experiences and factual information. it is a great forum this, just got to sift through the chaff.
  15. I will be doing pool villas, less than 8 rooms on individual land plots. So totally legal. Thanks everyone for your information.
  16. Looks like you got it wrong again Lou. Dont believe everything you read on the Internet.
  17. They were lifeguards so I hope they can swim otherwise they will need to be rescued when doing rescues.
