My understanding is that I can gift money to a Thai person, transferred from abroad, and it will be tax free for the receiver. So what is the procedure to send 5 million baht to a Thai person, not anyhow related to me. The person in question will buy a property with the money, and is it possible to file it as a mortgage, and still be tax free? Do I need to ask permission, or fill in some specific documents. I will send the money using Wise. This is a legit question, so no need for the cynics to tell me that i will lose the money.

I'm in the market for new gutters, and since I have about 100 meter of gutters, price is a factor. The cheapest galvanized i can find is 360 baht, and add 50 baht if I want them to be painted. Then I found a supplier with SS 304 for 600 baht a meter. I know SS can't be painted, but they are better quality of course Previously I always heard prices of SS at 1000 baht up, so these seem very cheap, also compared to the galvanized ones. They come in 6 meter lengths directly from the factory, and am told there is Thai quality and Chinese quality, with the latter one being of lower quality. So what do I have to look out for, so I don't get fooled?
