  1. Quick question for you. So you are in denial that there are tariffs in place, and that because of tariffs prices will increase for the consumer?
  2. Is that the best you can come up with, a failed single project compared with a ruined economy? Oh, and you mean this one, right? https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2025/mar/05/trump-musk-rural-internet-starlink The Trump administration is preparing to overhaul a $42.5bn Biden-era program designed to connect tens of millions of rural Americans to reliable and affordable high-speed internet, in a move that is expected to benefit billionaire Elon Musk. Experts generally agree that using satellite services costs less to connect difficult-to-reach homes than fiber. But fiber also provides a more reliable, faster and less expensive option for consumers. Any change to the program could face substantial pushback from states and Congress, including Republican senators who have previously sought assurances from administration officials that the federal program, which is expected to generate billions of dollars in long-term economic growth across some of the poorest states in the US, would largely be left alone.
  3. That are the March figures, before the tariffs were in place....................in case you missed it. After the tariffs are enforced, it will take 1-2 months before it is reflected in the prices. In case you missed it.............
  4. My guess is that China will just blacklist every US company. China doesn't need the US, since they account for less than 15% of the exports. I read earlier today that they already found another source for the soy beans they import from the US. Keep going Trump, you are winning (sarcasm of the highest level) but your cult still believes it.
  5. Which countries, other than the third world ones, are negotiating with Trump? Almost every developed country issues counter tariffs. The third world countries removing their tariffs will make zero difference for the trade balances, since they will not import more, and actually may export more if tariffs are removed US side. Trump loses once again.
  6. Look like Trump should be prosecuted for rigging the market, and offering insider information. https://finance.yahoo.com/news/trumps-buy-tip-social-media-230226399.html NEW YORK (AP) — When Donald Trump offered some financial advice Wednesday morning, stocks were wavering between gains and losses. But that was about to change. “THIS IS A GREAT TIME TO BUY!!! DJT,” he wrote on his social media platform Truth Social at 9:37 a.m. Less than four hours later, Trump announced a 90-day pause on nearly all his tariffs. Stocks soared on the news, closing up 9.5% by the end of trading. The market, measured by the S&P 500, gained back about $4 trillion, or 70%, of the value it had lost over the previous four trading days.
  7. Trump has shown he has no plan. https://www.euronews.com/2025/04/08/president-trump-confirms-no-plans-to-suspend-global-tariffs-despite-us-stock-market-dip There were big swings in US stock throughout Monday's trading session after Trump warned he could raise tariffs even further. US President Donald Trump has confirmed that he has no plans to suspend global tariffs, despite another day of turbulence in global stock markets. When asked by a reporter in the Oval office whether he would be open to a pause in tariffs to allow for negotiations, Trump responded: “We’re not looking at that. We have many many countries that are coming to negotiate deals with us and they’re going to be fair deals and in certain cases they’re going to be paying substantial tariffs.” https://www.yahoo.com/news/trump-team-no-idea-sudden-190022840.html Trump’s Team Has No Idea What to Say About His Sudden Tariffs Reversal It’s obvious at this point that Trump has never had a plan for his tariff scheme, and is making it up as he goes along. Wednesday’s reversal was likely prompted by growing criticism from his own supporters and normally fawning right-wing media and by a government debt sell-off, showing weakening confidence in the American economy. But Trump’s own sycophants aren’t going to admit that the president would ever back off.
  8. Your bank doesn't know which passport you registered with True, because I asked my bank 2 days ago. Maybe you confuse the messages the bank sends to everyone, including those that do not need to make any changes
  9. As per True instructions, AMLO doesn't check the passport number, only the name of the SIM
  10. You know that most of the silver in the US comes from Mexico? Oh wait, Trump just slapped tariffs on those imports
  11. Where would those Americans get the funds from to do all the buying?
  12. Drill baby drill, but it cost more to get out of the ground than they can sell it for. Another WIN for Trump. Not? (Bloomberg) — The angry mutterings at the Permian Basin Petroleum Association’s “Spring Swing” golf tournament this week weren’t all about missed putts or lost balls. The Texas oilmen on the fairways had a more serious concern: The president they helped elect was tanking oil prices. https://finance.yahoo.com/news/texas-wildcatters-impatient-trump-oil-140741365.html
  13. It seems China has some other countries to which it exports.
  14. Of course the US buys more from China, much of it from US companies manufacturing in China, because it can't be produced at those prices in the US. So guess who is suffering. The US customer is suffering from the tariffs, but would be equally suffering if it was manufactured in the US because it would cost more to produce. But now also the US industry is suffering, because they will export less to China because of the counter tariffs. Win- Win eh?
  15. China Imports from United States was US$165.16 Billion during 2023, according to the United Nations COMTRADE database on international trade. China Imports from United States - data, historical chart and statistics - was last updated on April of 2025.
  16. It has been many years since the paper version was canceled, so I forgot, but did IO remove the TM6 from your passport on departure?
  17. And this https://finance.yahoo.com/news/china-adds-us-companies-lists-113111729.html BEIJING (Reuters) - China's commerce ministry on Wednesday added 12 U.S. companies to its export control list and six to its unreliable entities list, effective Thursday, according to ministry statements.
  18. And how does that balance with? So in your opinion they should choose an inferior airplane for the tariffs? Are you American?
  19. Since when was the past a guarantee for the future? BTW what is going on now is a completely different story from 2008. I got news for you/
  20. Do those 200.000 Cambodian riel per month rooms even have mirrors?
  21. Well a few weeks ago the OP claimed he didn't watch news, so that is correct then
