Re: What can be done with cannabis trim?
Jerzy Swirski replied to Marcus Martin's topic in Thailand Cannabis Forum
If you start filtering the trim (and leaves under the flowers) then after a series of filtrations you will end up with hashish. If you are found with it then you will be in big trouble. It's all there to be found with google but don't tell anyone I told you. -
1 baht street water machines - do they have filters?
Jerzy Swirski replied to scubascuba3's topic in General Topics
We are in the process of changing our water supply so I have been doing as many purity teats as possible. We have three of those 1baht machines near us and all three are giving water that is clean enough to drink. However the taste of Reverse Osmosis water is horrible and makes my coffee taste undrinkable. I will be buying Nestle drinking water from Makro -

I have had two colonoscopies. Got them both done at one of the RAM hospitals. Cost was about 25,000 baht each. The op is no problem but the bowel prep is not pleasant

People who don't know the words they use
Jerzy Swirski replied to OneMoreFarang's topic in ASEAN NOW Community Pub
Not correct. It is using a word that sounds similar. If I called you a "banker" that would be a malapropism. No offence intended. -
People who don't know the words they use
Jerzy Swirski replied to OneMoreFarang's topic in ASEAN NOW Community Pub
Ditto Don't let it go uncorrected or before long everyone in the group will be misusing the word. Rather than correct someone to their face and maybe in front of friends, I politely tell them that they should google the word. "Frottage" is a prime example of a misused word. -
Hit her with the truth and ask her if she has a friend who is more energetic in bed as her performance is below average. Three possible outcomes. a. She bucks her ideas up. You win. b. She gets you a better performer. You win. c. She walks out in a hissy fit. You look for the next one.

Buying A car from a Thai that has a loan
Jerzy Swirski replied to atpeace's topic in Thailand Motor Discussion
I had no problem registering a car in another province. No questions were asked I liked the old number and didn't want to change it. I have also renewed the tax using my local DLT Again no problems -
Ford Focus, parts and reliability?
Jerzy Swirski replied to giddyup's topic in Thailand Motor Discussion
I have owned two Ford Focus in Thailand. Both were very good cars and just as reliable as all the Toyota I have owned. However you must be careful which model you buy. Forget the 1.5 turbo Ecosport because the engine has a bad design. It is called the Ecoboom by traders for a reason. The earlier models have the SportShift gearbox There are two types of SportShift gearboxes, the DCT250 and the DCT450. The DCT250 has a dry clutch and is plagued with problems. The DCT450 has a wet clutch and is reliable but don't miss a gearbox oil change. There was a small batch of Mk1 Focus TDCi imported around 2008 with manual transmission. If I could find a good low mileage example at a sensible price I would buy it. Many parts are available online. I also order parts from MIck's garage in Ireland. Good service and prices. I avoid the main Ford Stealership because of their high prices and long delivery times. -
Advice me on car window tint
Jerzy Swirski replied to Pattaya420's topic in Thailand Motor Discussion
Some types of tint interfere with GPS signals. If you use any GPS devices in your car then make sure you get a type that is suitable. -
Advice me on car window tint
Jerzy Swirski replied to Pattaya420's topic in Thailand Motor Discussion
Are you sure about that? I don't even take my car to the DLT to renew my tax. They only want the blue book and insurance and money. No inspection ever needed for tax, only for change of ownership. Anyway, let's move on. This thread is supposed to be about window tint. -
Advice me on car window tint
Jerzy Swirski replied to Pattaya420's topic in Thailand Motor Discussion
You can't even get my name right so no chance of getting your facts right. I bought the vehicle in Bangkok and then registered it myself in my home province. I was refused a registration plate because the tint was 5% over the limit. Moral of the story is to get the vehicle registered before having the tint installed.
