It prolly be Buriram, Sisakhet like you mentioned I suspect back in 80s it was much more prevalent with all the post KR turmoil. That was a long time ago Thai love Thai and even the poors love Thai because despite being poor AF they are not Khmien and even poorer than F. The yellow shirts have provoked hostilities for decades. Never met any pub staff that could speak Khmer. . My 2 satang

Heatwave and Climate Change Puts Pressure on Thailand

John Kerry. Political grifter pushing globalist WEF climate agenda. His wife (he) owns a jet, uses it in his position and bills US government. Putting aside the ownership.. should an individual that is whinging about climate drama be flying anything but coach? I think not. The optics are so far off. But he and his politician body is simply don't care. That's because the whole thing isn't real. He is the embodiment of why i don't give a F and know the entire thing is a charade. If it were real it would be treated not as the joke that it is but with deadly seriousness Nobody in power cares any farther than their ability to tax us plebs. Thats it -

I'm sure the plants love it then. Don't be such a hater. Why do you hate plant life? You're probably a vegan or something like that as well but you hate plants. Dont hate plants they give us oxygen and are pretty. Globalist cabal killing off people at plenty fast rate for us to not worry about any of this nonsense. The world is now begging for children (wage serfs). All the eaters will rebalance so just chill out bud -
Small soi, intersection. Direction white saloon pointing is dead end. Very sharp decelerating curve direction truck came from only 70M back. Thai drivers so aggressive 🤣 LoL

Smart Home automations - anybody using?
Chadnik replied to Bandersnatch's topic in Alternative/Renewable Energy Forum
I enjoy tinkering with that sort of stuff. Your dashboard admittedly looks cool. I just cant envision a need especially as I'm a sworn renter. * I also stay away from Google as one can. -

Heatwave and Climate Change Puts Pressure on Thailand

Another related point For the past year there has been Non-Stop negative stories about wind and solar power. They start with projects being abandoned but they also discuss all of the pollution and destruction that they do to the environment I think every automotive company aside from Tesla has revamped or even dropped electric vehicles. Batteries are just an absolutely horrible idea in vehicle. Electric vehicles create the same waste and pollution as ice vehicle.. they just do it in another place. Wind and solar pollution is now well known and being abandoned. It was a hoax. Solar panels may have a place in rule settings but again the environmental damage and pollution outweighs. Totally common knowledge. That crap ain't green lol. Thailand is sadly ramping up all sorts of ridiculous new energy programs when they could burn gas and do nuclear. Finally, the now profile of this website is totally woke so its no surprise to find such article here pushing the standard woke pap. -

Henny penny sky is falling!! Wealthy and powerful people doing absolutely nothing except dreaming up the next BS tax for the poor to pay to combat Global Warming™©® Half the world burns coal like it was 1821 lol. The wealthy just laugh. Heres my contribution: 1. Twenty years no personal vehicle 2. Reduce plastic purchases as possible 3. Walk or public transport to go anywhere, 99.9 purchased goods .. F2F not via courier 4. Limit electronic purchases 5. No children 6. Eat local, only purchase fancy foreign food when on fire-sale. No 'need' 7. Air flights limited 8. No pets 9. Keep plants 10. Separate trash Bonus: Tell global alarmists to KMA In the end, I have at best 35 years on this planet. I don't give half a F By the way the covid models were all wrong why should we have any faith at all in the global warming models? The idea that somehow we can do something about changing the climate when humanity can't even stop small, silly wars or even something as ridiculous as polio. Yeah, its back. It's disingenuous. I've seen what world government does with covid and I don't expect we will fare well under the global warming police. -
Heatwave and Climate Change Puts Pressure on Thailand

For the record, Bangkok has been perfectly typical. Typical temps, typical rainy season. We enjoyed a short and not especially hot season. What was abnormal was no cold weather Dec Jan .. none. Rain and stickiness aside I think BKK weather quite good last few weeks. Some very lovely mornings. I realize BKK ain't Thailand, but there it is. The world may be on balance getting warmer. O don't think its at all conclusive its man made. Moreover, who cares India, China still gonna burn coal. 1% not giving up mansions and jets. Obama not sold his beachfront 20M usd property. Green washing hysteria. -
I must say and sorry for yet another post. Thai women are stunning. I just enjoy being out in central Bangkok and taking in all the beauties. Especially with upswing in skincare, aesthetic and douyin make up style .. now Thai women have their own competitive beauty style to much the Koreans and Japanese. As for 35+ there are boatloads of stunners. As I age I'm noticing older women more now and see many women I'd bag .. maybe not gf, defo not marry, but well into 40-50s. Some real 40+ hunnies on TikTok. I've been around the region and no other women are so pretty, well put together. Singapore Chinese usually mid. Taiwanese ok.. Myanmar women are lovely but different vibe. For me young Viet women are dynamite.

Don't think too mutt Kinda what Thailand is all about.

Sorry yours isn't. Thats a great phenomena for the couple. Everyone tells me shes sweet, cute. You can also see it in how she's treated by Thais. I dunno.. She's definitely not the 33yo I met. Thats ok. 4 5 kg weight gain is another matter - especially no kids.

Lol I'm American and no idea about *Irish* 🤣 Internet or Australian whatever. Tickets are an international thing la. You purchased the skint fare code and now expect to be treated as if you'd paid full fare. I can't believe you're an expat and don't know this to be honest. What class you're riding on the bus has nothing to do with it. Coach, business or first. Nothing. Its all about the fare code 🍌

My wife is none of that. It's your partner. Moreover, she knows I was in Asia decades before we met. Move to the city where she's off her game a bit and not always Thaisplaining. I don't tolerate dramatic women for a second.
-
I stopped looking for that at 30. Have that convo with yer mates. Women in home country not any deeper you just share a language Yet, Thai women are interested in outside culture, architecture, food, travel. Drop all that crap and have fun.

My wife is still attractive at 48 (looks 40), zero wrinkles. She does need to lose minimum 3kg, but 5kg. That on her small frame is a lot. If i lose two kg I'm high school weight. I told her before we married I'm fine with her aging, but not getting fat on me. I meant that and it is a Line in the sand. But I'd never leave her just to jump to some rando "gf". One thing single men will not understand is the intrinsic value of a good partner. Everything is just transactional.. especially Clan Pattaya. I can very much trust my wife with my money, around my family, carry herself in public. Most of all she's never, ever angry or upset with me. Totally chill. Shes a cheap date and also concerned about our expenses and my personal purchases. The only guys I've seen in BKK with better looking women appear to either be rentals, male is 15-20 years younger possibly more handsumer than this 60+ geezer Why toss her? Get her a spa upgrade. As for girlfriends.. in the end its never for love or forever which means its always transactional and that means she can't be entirely trusted.. or loved nor can she trust, love you. I have no problem keeping my own company. I'm never lonely * I would never marry in States. Never marry here again .. I saw a woman i knew was gold and proven correct If we split I'd be out of BKK and back down to Pattaya before the week was out.

Mate So you purchase the cheap ticket and then went back to wine and whinge because they enforced the terms One needs to provide you with reasons the answer is simple you purchase a ticket under a specific set of terms The terms when you purchase a ticket are very clear and should be checked before you purchase a ticket. Tickets have classes as well so you can do the research and find out about these. Or a quick tip off to potential restrictions 😉😉

Of course it is. My latest suspicion is that all long term extensions that potentially 180+ not renewed unless accompanied by Thai tax form. At CW they will have a pre check. Others that just fall 180 days+ due to accrual will be trickier. Expect a cursory check and 'reninder' to file note placed inside the ppt I expect revenue office to have staff at the larger immigration locations. In Nakon Nowhere they'll just ask for tax form for all O, B extensions. Way too simple to check this way and government gets to waste more money on yellow shirt jobs. I smelled this coming months ago. It's the easiest way and in my opinion the 'Thai' way to enforce compliance Decades ago you needed a tax clearance to depart asked for a rarely for staying over 180 days. Back in those sleepy days immigration still bothered with that. So, there must be something already set up in that regard as well One thing that I'm taking in from the Thai media is that the new government as well as the revenue department or did serious about collecting this money from us. They are truly champing at the bit. Gotta pay for all the free giveaways and vote getters

Sorry mate. I just bring wife's bags up from security. Never COD. I don't care what she buys as long as she saves 50% of her salary 🤗. I've no kid as well.

It's funny how cynical we are. Our default is - you are legal, within your rights it would appear, request reasonable and a very trivial matter. Nevertheless, we all think you'll get told to suck eggs and pay the fine 🤣 -

Overseas outreach efforts are almost always driven by Democrat/ liberal causes. Asking questions ... data collection. In all likelihood your personal information will be sold down the road. Moreover, it is very likely you will not receive a ballot. -
90-day report without physical passport book
Chadnik replied to mikeh's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
Bring all the paperwork that demonstates officially your passport is off in processed. Should work. I could also see them brush you away just to grub the fine later, but that's cynical me. There's nothing that they actually do with the passport during the check-in process. Might help if you had a photocopy of all the pages but obviously you should have a photocopy of the data page. Try it out let us know Of course, you could do this by mail or possibly online as has been pointed out by Dr Jack above
