The Olympus E-9 had rave reviews when it came out a few years back. I think it went for 55k when it came out but would be a fair bit cheaper than that now.

I have a Oly E-5 and it works great, never heard of an E-9 btw

Mick McCarthy has been sacked as manager of Wolves after five-and-a-half years in charge at Molineux.

Club owner Steve Morgan has ended McCarthy's reign with yesterday's 5-1 home defeat to West Brom the final straw.

I see that Yingluck announced yesterday in her weekly address to the nation that from tomorrow water will 'Start' to be released from all the dams. What is meant by Start I don't know as the Tak dam has been letting it out big time for week's. By the way these plank's of wood are dealing with the problem I think we are in the sh/t big time.

Well in Kan the Srinakarin Dam has been going mostly full pelt (out) for most of last year and this one also, but it was not full in October 2011, and no floods here.

Hi Alan,

Have you been in Kan up to Huay Mae Khamin Waterfall?

Nice dirt road

This place is in Kanchanaburi Province. Go to Erawan Waterfall and just passed that there is a turn off to your left to Srinakharin Dam National Park. Only 42 kms thereafter on a very rough no tarmac road you will reach it. This was my second time there, but went there on that rough road. Near on 2 hours on that road to go 42 kms. I would not advise this road. Use the other route.

The first time, I went the long way around on an easier way, on two ferries across the Srinakarin Reservoir. Great views there as well along that way. Go during the "Rainy Season" then the Waterfall should be as full as you have see in my photo.

Should you wish to go there, take a Thai with you that knows the area and way.

Took me 4 hours there, 1 click as you saw, 4 hours back with a whole group of people. On your own it should not take you that long.

The flip out LCD screens are great when shooting from a tripod, especially with a remote.

Oly E-5 in video mode only works that way.

I do not use the LCD screen much only as mentioned above, however it is very handy to sit back after a shooting event and reviewing the photos with the camera sitting on the table and not in hand.
