    The problem is they can't really be fixed. Childhood trauma like that does a number on the human brain when it's developing. Most never recover. This child will be different throughout their whole life. A good support structure of family and friends will help though.

    Great idea. Within a short time frame the problem would go away. But a real concerted effort not some lame half measures. Wishful thinking though due to the view so many have while at the same time adding to the problem with kindness.
