  1. Why? Isn't obvious that all this stories are made up, to create the climate to ban "opposition parties" and, in 2028, make Trump the Führer.
  2. Naahh, only awareness of totalitarianism on the move.. Bye.
  3. Bali isn't a country. Indonesia has a lot more to offer than Thailand. Sumatra, Borneo, Sulawesi, Java, Lombok. Burma can't be overlooked either.
  4. There is one thing they could improve: bridges to cross Beach road. And slow down traffic. But yes many areas in Da Nang look more like Singapore than Pattaya, most utilities are underground and I couldn't find transformers to block the footpath.
  5. Well just had one week in Danang, two connecting rooms four star hotel 4300 a night (for both), going rate in Thailand is 7K +. Food is about 20% cheaper, wine same same, taxi/Grabs are cheaper. Entry/Exit formalities take one minute, with a smile. The country is huge and has plenty to offer. My Khe is spotlessly clean and rightfully considered on of the greatest beaches in the world. Only idiots would keep coming to Thailand. Forgot to say that the money spent in Nam isn't subject to IT.
  6. Well, I mentioned the eery resemblance of the currents events and actors with those or the early Third Reich and you come up with ridiculous accusations of negationism; if that isn't a grotesque deflection...
  7. Sturm Abteilung https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sturmabteilung Combo of ICE and the January 6 creeps, who had their sentences quashed by Taco. I all likelihood some of them "work" with ICE now.
  8. Well, easy since you don't know what you are talking about. First I referred to SA with a good reason. While they were involved in the harassement of jews and opponents, they were exterminated by the SS during the Night of the Long Knives (June 30 to July 2, 1934. It was the SS, under Reinhard Heydrich who run the extermination camps. So your stupid hyperbole isn't even historically founded. As a Jew I know that part of the history quite well and I am fascinated by the similarities of events of 90 years ago. It is all so eerily reminiscent, and the mercenaries hastily recruited by ICE amongst a population full of hatred have exactly the profile of Röhm's Brown Shirts. And by the way, there were probably a few criminals amongst the Jews beaten by the SA just as there were a few Narcos amongst the tens of thousands of innocent immigrants whose lives have been destroyed by ICE.
  9. Seems you went out for a pee during the most important part of the story: you beloved leader declared war to the rest of the world, wants to annex Canada and Greenland for a start and then implements lopsided trade to MAGA, while bankrupting everyone else. We are entitled to hatred.
  10. You can shove those up somewhere of your choice, I am a free man and will never set foot in the US again. ICE ≡ SA
  11. I thought the topic was interesting, and worth contributing by adding something that was essential to the outcome of the campaign of Russia. If a was to start a new topic, I'd start on Bonaparte's amazing feat in building a large army in less than 100 days after leaving detention. Not enough to match Arthur Wellesley though. Interesting times..
  12. You forget to mention the sacrifice of Moscow. Which we ought to remember, as it shows how far Russian fanatics are prepared to go to defend the Holy Russia. Next time, soon, they'll just vitrify her.
  13. EU must follow suit, not only with Asean but also with China. It would be the only way to divert China from a durable alliance with Putin.
  14. Drivel. He was a great President, Highly articulate, unlike the current narcissistic senile warthog. As far as achievements are concerned: Healthcare reform. Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act. ... Education. Race to the Top competitive grant program. ... Climate change. Clean Power Plan. Immigration policy. Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals. ... Social policy. Lilly Ledbetter Fair Pay Act. ... Intelligence and surveillance policy.
  15. Yeah and add to that this silly story about an extra 10% tarif for Canada, because a reference to an illustrious predecessor. Definitely no narcissistic dictator. I am utterly amused reading Taco fanboys feeling the need to theorise about what a dictator is...
  16. IMO that was fair enough, as he became a symbol of what should have been a bright future for America.
  17. So you don't care for women's rights and transgender rights?
  18. Sad, as it also implies that 44% of US voters FUP (Fat, Uneducated & Pink).
  19. Maybe, but they slapped me with a ridiculous 49999 daily transaction limit. Really ideal when you want to transfer money between your own accounts of different banks. Why are we living in this dump...
  20. Desperately seeking Taco in there... https://www.pbk.org/about/notable-members
  21. I like Apple care, for Ipads mostly, they always replace with a new one or refurb. So far, financially, I probably come out ahead, as I don't want to consider these cheap screen replacement shops. One might get lucky in some of them though, but even Dr. MacBook did a so so job a few years ago. Converted my to AC.
