I won't be back
I'll take the family to Da Nang in couple of weeks, so I'' tell you when I am back. How would be Perth for 3 weeks, to get my prostate embolised? I looked at hotels, they cost a fortune...

You got me lost there. Is it sugar that triggers your reaction or coffee/tea. I drink coffee without sugar, as I like the taste of Mocca beans...

So you take the girl out of the bar. Now what?
More often than not. I watch the deterioration of newbies with a fascination commensurate to the greed of the few local farang bars. Most of their kids don't even speak English.

Netanyahu Condemns Palestinian Recognition Amid UN Walkout
That's total nonsense. The vast majority of US jews are Democrats. But sadly a large proportion of them chose to ignore the October 7 pogrom and are not supporting Bibi,

Netanyahu Condemns Palestinian Recognition Amid UN Walkout
My guess is that you are going to apply for ragheadship? Taco is despicable but he got one thing right. IMHO Bibi should get a Peace Nobel, didn't Arafat get one?

UK digital ID cards - how would it affect expats in Thailand?
Entitlement to pension indexation isn't strictly associated with citizenship. Now, when deciding where to retire, someone is doing his/her due diligence he/she would stumble on the linked page after about 30 seconds: https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/state-pensions-annual-increases-if-you-live-abroad/countries-where-we-pay-an-annual-increase-in-the-state-pension So I can only assume that the vast majority of wingeing Poms in Thailand came over here fully informed of the fact that their income was bound to decrease, unless they made false claims. Which might become unsustainable in some near future.

Thailand Deploys AI Security to Attract Chinese Tourists
As a tourist, this would deter me from visiting Thailand. Now that I am here and getting I hope I won't live till 90, the future is too bleak.

Trump Urges Supreme Court to End Birthright Citizenship
And what's wrong with that? I'd see it as an opportunity for Nation to include another hard working family.

UK digital ID cards - how would it affect expats in Thailand?
Why? Nothing wrong as long a one knows which country is indexed and which isn't. While everyone is free to move to an indexed country. But better I stop talking about this, IMO there is no discrimination while I am painfully aware of the devastating inflation we have had for the past couple of years.
-
UK digital ID cards - how would it affect expats in Thailand?
But there is no discrimination as there is one rule that affects everyone equally. I am not complaining that my pension is somewhat lower as I chose to be only 23 years in the system. Some people chose to live in a country where their pension isn't indexed. Who you are isn't relevant, your life decisions are, hence no discrimination.

UK digital ID cards - how would it affect expats in Thailand?
It isn't as you are free to move back home to enjoy your full benefit.

Old white guys who are anti western civilization
Only saying that US , sorry Tacoland,is now trailing China when it comes to concepts such as democracy, human rights and free speech, EU being irrelevant as ever.

Nigel Farage Vows Expulsions of Legal Migrants in UK Shake-Up
So you'd be happy, as I would, if this was applied in Thailand? I am sure there are thousands of geezers here who don't meet IO requirements. And with Pommy Nazi's approach the 800K requirement could become 3M, and enforced within 100 days... Just hope that everyone here will make the mental effort...

Best surgical treatment for long-term BPH relief
All true, except that PAE is most effective with large glands. The other great benefit of PAE is that leave the door open for any of the other treatments, if needed.
