Entitlement to pension indexation isn't strictly associated with citizenship. As a tourist, this would deter me from visiting Thailand. Now that I am here and getting I hope I won't live till 90, the future is too bleak.

Why? Nothing wrong as long a one knows which country is indexed and which isn't. While everyone is free to move to an indexed country. But better I stop talking about this, IMO there is no discrimination while I am painfully aware of the devastating inflation we have had for the past couple of years.

But there is no discrimination as there is one rule that affects everyone equally. I am not complaining that my pension is somewhat lower as I chose to be only 23 years in the system. Some people chose to live in a country where their pension isn't indexed. Who you are isn't relevant, your life decisions are, hence no discrimination.

It isn't as you are free to move back home to enjoy your full benefit.
