  1. Yup, and why hasn't been moved to the "Pub"? And even there...
  2. For now my holidays [my largest expense] have moved to Vietnam and other neighbouring countries. We go to Bangkok when we need to see a Doctor, but that may well move elsewhere too. (Please don't say India)
  3. Lewie you are a glimmer of hope, for this forum...
  4. Both great men, who repelled US invasion... They have indeed a lot in common.
  5. Same here, but I have been desperately looking for gecko litter on Lazada.
  6. A lack of lift, for sure..
  7. Food for thought: On the 787 the hydraulic system has been re-designed to use electric power. Bleed air is still used for some of the pressurization of hydraulic reservoirs (one of the main areas where bleed air is used). In particular: The 787 maintains three hydraulic systems (left, right, and central), each pressurized separately. The left and right hydraulic systems are driven by engine-driven pumps (as normal), with an additional electric pump for peak demand and ground use. The central system is driven by two large electric pumps, with no engine-driven pumps. The electric pumps provide higher pressure (5,000 psi rather than 3,000 psi in traditional systems) which allows smaller hydraulic components, further saving on weight. https://simpleflying.com/boeing-787-no-bleed-architecture-key-facts-list/
  8. Sure, but why dual engine shut down? And not an electrical systems catastrophic shut down? Remember B787 relies on electrical systems a lot more than other aircraft. Ironically in its early days B787 got grounded to modify the batteries of its backup power system had the bad habit of catching fire... Anyhow the only thing I have flown was a paraglider.. But I's bet a Yuan on effed up controls here...
  9. I'd trust Captain Steve a lot more if he was a 787 pilot.. There is a fundamental difference between 787 and any other commercial aircraft: its no bleed architecture. This is why the invoked dual "engine failure" needs more explanation, what looks to some like a gross pilot error could also be a systems fault... Sadly, this would b crashed the be reminiscent to the Max crashes...
  10. No, no one should watch primitive, brutal manure. All forms of boxing should be banned, they don't even het close to be sports, they are mere outlets for animal violence.
  11. That's a comment of the highest [MAGA] intellectual standard..
  12. From educated people, leaders in their field of expertise. For instance economists could have been useful before throwing around ridiculous tarifs... Isn't that obvious to you, or are you one of them, idiots in the White House.
  13. Not sure he lies, just talks from the top of his low IQ all the time. It is also notorious that he never reads anything and get most of his input from Fox News.
  14. Wherever I start talking about that income tax thing my wife goes SSShhhttt!!!! You guys are bad luck magnets.
  15. I am devastated..
  16. No need, the Mossad is about to reveal a Gay past..
  17. He looks even worse than the one I have posted...
  18. It is a 4 to 6 months process, but about the same number of visits as a root canal + crown, with less pain (none at all actually). I did mine in the hospital where I have regular doctor's visits, so no hassle whatsoever. The only downside was that they didn't accept third party payment for dental work; my credit card took care of that.
  19. Holman? One of these two?
  20. And now he wants to arrest Gavin Newsom....
  21. Taking? No I am not a thieve either...
