I suspect what many MAGAs mean when they say "lies" is that WaPo Op-ed writers had OPINIONS which different from the MAGA gospel. I bet WaPo didn't even believe Trump when he claimed he stopped the 1994 Rwandan Genocide. In MAGA world, that likely constitutes blasphemy. I doubt Bezos has any fondness for Trump, but one thing we have seen in the last year is that great wealth shrinks cojones at worst, and at best gets in the way of greed. Bezos simply ignored the fact that one of Trump's besties ordered the dismemberment of a WaPo journalist, Jamal Khashoggi. Bezos gave Melania a $75 million gift, all-in, and even let her hire a discredited scoundrel and Epstein friend as director of her silly "documentary", and in return has gotten at least $2.4 billion in new government contracts under Trump. If there is anything positive coming out of the death of WaPo, it is that Bezos hasn't turned it into the NY Post or National Enquirer........yet.

Trump removed “free admission” days at National Parks for MLK, Jr day, and replaced it with Trump’s birthday. Trump had a plaque noting the assassination of Medgar Evers by a white Klansman altered, because it noted that the Klansman was racist. By definition, the Ku Klux Klan is racist. The bone spurs, never served, coward Trump had the Dept of Defense remove a website page dedicated to Jacky Robinson, a page that detailed how the 2nd Lieutenant Robinson, who served in WWII, refused to sit at the back of military buses. Trump directed the National Parks Service to deface, using crowbars, a Philadelphia display honoring slaves who were forced to work for George Washington. Trump sided with racists upset about removing statues “honoring” people who fought FOR slavery, and when those same people marched with tikitorches chanting “Jews will not replace us”, Trump called them “very fine people”. Trump sent ICE into Minnesota, despite that State having a very low number of suspected undocumented migrants, because ICE could whomp on Somalis. Trump chose another city that most Americans never heard of---Lewiston, Maine---because that city has been revitalized by migrants, legal migrants, but they just don’t happen to be white. He sent ICE in…for what? Trump is the guy who employed undocumented workers at Mar-a-Lago and Bedminster into the year 2017. Recall in the campaign, Trump accused legal Haitian migrants of “eating the dogs”. Trump’s first battle with the legal system came in 1973, when he was sued for denying Blacks the chance to rent apartments in buildings with his family name on it. To his core Trump is a racist. 100%. He is a disgrace to the US and an affront to all that is decent and good.

The White House cannot even keep its lies straight. After the backlash---even from some Republicans---about the racist video, the White House manufactured some lie that "some staffer" accessed Trump's social media and posted it. (I wonder if "some staffer" also has access to the nuclear codes?). Now Trump admits he posted it, but says he didn't watch the whole thing, so didn't know about the ape images. So, "some staffer" is Donald J Trump.

The White House kept Trump's post up for 12 hours. During that time the lying Leavitt tried to justify it, claiming "fake outrage". Apparently the WH finally saw that a few Republicans grew a pair and spoke out against it, so they manufactured the lie about "some staffer". I guess technically Trump is a White House staffer, so it's only a "white" lie. How appropriate that term 'white lie' is!
