So you think that I sought your post out in order to troll you? Are you really so conceited that you imagine that I would do such a thing? What a sad indictment of yourself. One of my interests is good food. I very rarely see anything of the sort here. The only person who posted anything that looked edible on a consistent basis, was @ExpatOilWorker The rest, mostly average home cooking, including your efforts. Nothing of high quality. That's my opinion. I guess calling me a troll helps you to feel better about yourself.

It's quite sad how you label your poor reaction to any perceived criticism as trolling. I would say that you are one of the top users of that term. Curious, eh? Think about that for a moment or two. Reread your first sentence. That's a nasty and childish 'retort' isn't it? You need to label my critique as 'trolling' in order to justify your behaviour. Getting back to the food pic. Yes, my mum makes proper pancakes. My girlfriend, blinis(cream cheese and raisins a particular favourite). But after the little petulant outburst, at least you got around to adding the description of pancakes w/ honey, whipped cream & blueberries. That part is fine, though the whipped cream doesn't seem of good quality. Then you added the weird comment about being Muslim. The bacon there seems completely inappropriate and doesn't look at all appetising. That's my opinion. I didn't post a 'thumbs down', I wrote an honest opinion. I'm concerned about your obsession with Donald. Do you take it as a personal affront when anyone criticises him? You do know that's weird, don't you? I guess we know why you isolate yourself from people. A bit too thin skinned perhaps?

You are much the same. You throw out insults in the hope that it separates you from everyone else. You always have the most experience and the most knowledge. The longest winded rants. The most abusive. But just like @SAFETY FIRST, you blame others for your own behaviour. It's 'amazing' that you have the temerity to try to coach him here. You should try not depositing insults within your own posts, before lecturing others. Note that I am posting facts rather than insults. Let's see if you can achieve such a standard.

You've formulated a theory about people you imagine to hate you. You had to have taken a bit of time to have put that all together. Not just that, but you appear to express really strong feelings about it. If you are happy in your successful life, then why are you making yourself unhappy using your time creating theories about these people? Why not just live your life? You have to expect that grumpy guys are going to be grumpy. They have poor and difficult lives. Change your attitude towards such poor and unfortunate people.

That's not personal to you. We are all different and we are all the same. Accept the differences and criticise if you want to, but don't hate someone for having a different perspective than yours. You aren't alone. But if you start ranting, people are going to step away.

There it is again. No one needs your permission to 'interact' with you on a forum. So your reaction and behaviour seems a bit...strange. That's the sound of a sweeping brush, isn't it? Look how easily you become irritated, but yet you accuse others of being 'grumpy old men'. Your behaviour here clearly fits that mould. I'm not even attacking you, but simply pointing out that your constant complaining here, puts you in the same category as the people you seem to hate. I even added that sometimes I might agree with you, but then you ruin it. Think about it a little, before you reply with hatred and irritation.

You do realise that many of the hateful posts come from you, don't you? There are all sorts of strange people here, including your good self. Often ranting against foreigners and anyone who doesn't agree wholeheartedly with you. Change the tune a little bit. Not all of the older guys here are miserable. Neither are they they foreigners you purport to hate. It seems it is just a hateful world that you have created for yourself, perhaps because you don't make friends with your peers so easily. On some things I might have actually agreed with you, but then you add such an unpleasant comment, that it ruins the positivity of the original comment. Dial it back a bit.

Usually, he's giving up a 'blow by blow' account of everything that happens. But I don't think he likes that the initial impression that he gave of her, has stuck throughout the thread.
