  4. Because the leads are stored inside the cover. It has no capacitor setting. If you need to test/check them. Auto ranging is handy. This one is very portable but the standard probe tips are wanting, very short. I have both. The latter has a duty cycle setting if one is into fuel injection. I also bought one of these from Amorn as it has capacitor settings. But the leads are the tangle variety. I have a Fluke 747? as it has a 4-20mA range.
  5. Caller: "Hello is that the police? I wish to report an illegal motorcyclist" Police: "OK stay where you are we will send someone round"
  6. You don't have to show a million baht to set up a company. Yes your agent/accountant will prepare documents for subsequent extensions of visa/work permit. The company needs to show turnover.
  7. Kg per HP and KG per Nm is very similar for both cars. Any difference would be the weight of the passengers.
  8. You don't have to show anyone actual money and if you are not worried about it the Thai share can be larger. I believe in some jurisdictions they don't look too closely. Whereas 51/49 shouts farang.
  9. I forget the exact international regs/standards but definitely a No No. I don't think it is in 60335-2-76 as that is for the energizer only. From memory the regs say things like entanglement which means that when shocked, animals/humans tend to pull back quickly and can be snagged by barbed wire. This relates to humans and security. What farmers do with livestock fences may differ but I would still consider it a No No as it could be dangerous. But TIT still applies. Edit: I was from mikeredbike but the site software attributed it to you? Also I took the word quote to mean an estimation of cost
  10. <Incorrect quote removed - crossy> Electrifying barbed wire is illegal. But hey this is Thailand.
  11. A friend recently returned from Chiang Mai. I don't know the location but he visited a large used motorbike warehouse with , in his words, hundreds of motorbikes. All displayed with prices. There must be similar in other cities.
  12. Juist curious about how many entertainment venues are Chinese owned and will they have the appropriate fire drill????
  13. Sorry to hear of your bad luck. there are a few visa agents in the UK who should be able to help. Just search for UK visa agent. It maybe simply a question of documentation.
