    I usually politely greet guys I meet in Makro or Tops. I don't seek them out but I will say good morning etc. I don't engage with them but I don't avoid them. If the guy happens to be India, extremely rare, I say "Sorry about the cricket" and continue an my way.

    Where I live has a tourist Police station. I will have to ask about Tourist Regions! In Pattaya I never had a problem. I just wandered into the hotel-now Avani Pattaya- next to Ripley's sat by the pool and asked for a beer.

    My Honda Zoomer X has a helmet lock widget on which you hang the helmet then shut the seat. Sure they could cut the strap to steal the helmet but then the helmet is useless. If I go to the mall I carry my helmet to show why I have "sticking up" hair.

    It is a two-lane river bridge with a shoulder and no signs prohibiting motorcycles. Been over it many times.

    From how far away or when riding. The engine still makes a noise on overrun but only until the auto clutch disengages. F.I. shuts off the fuel so that may effect what you are looking for. Unless you are looking for some Jake Brake kind of sound.

    Good friends, palm tress and sunshine. Good motorcycling roads. A tad less expensive. Indonesia is OK but the roads are not quite as good in places.

    I will shortly be going for a hair cut on my shopping scooter. Do I ride 150m against no traffic or do I do the 1.5km U-turn round trip again with no traffic. And no I won't be wearing a helmet. But I will wear one later to ride the 8kms to the pub for lunch.
