  1. Do you have a pressure washer? You could investigate wet blasting. Very fine sand can be found on construction sites with a lot of heavy truck use.
  2. The extra 2 million is the tax that Thai people haven't paid to be able to afford buying junk. FTFY
  3. Weirdly that is what is happening to me except I leave the interest to accumulate and use other funds for living.
  4. That's the plan, I don't have a target. That way I cannot be disappointed. I also don't have to mither about which if any strategy would be better.
  5. I don't track. Like the Soviet Union or China, I have a 5-year plan. After the 5 years is up I'll have a look. Since I don't get anything from the bank, anything I get after 5 years is a bonus.
  6. The Thaiger. Who else? Probably written by some stoned digital nomad wannabe after copying it from a Mexican article.
  7. Go to this month's meet up on Wedneday the 29th in Chiang Kham and David could bring you some. https://www.gt-rider.com/se-asia-motorcycling/threads/gt-rider-up-country-dinner-44-1148-chiang-kham.16109/#post-106894

  10. Half the height of the tank is not necessarily half the volume.
  11. Sorry no. I've only ever used an old kerosine-powered job that had a pulse jet-type combustor. I didn't even know they made two-stroke ones.
  12. or even the Suzuki Raider crossover. I'll keep my eye open at the local Yamaha dealer.
  13. The person was Indian so shouldn't the headline be:- Indian tourist falls to another death...." 🤔
  14. I wear a mesh jacket here in the north. What I wear under it depends on the temp. Synthetic mesh running T-shirt in hot weather with the "tail" exposed below the jacket to wick away any moisture. In cooler weather a long-sleeved shirt. Open-faced helmet with good ventilation, so I can take it on and off without removing my glasses. All OK as long as you keep moving.
