Yes, I have read quite a lot trying to improve the thing. Problem is, my chum hasn't the foggiest notion how a PC works or to keep it clean and safe, even with my instructions, he was the same with his old Toshiba, a real nightmare to sort out. There is no way I will enter into upgrading the thing, he hardly uses it, waste of time as he is not interested, but I enjoy the challenge of sorting it out when it does give up, something to do.....

The LT has 100 on cable and 150 on wifi, its cr_p. I have done a few speed software fiddling, doesn't make much difference. The LT is a Lenovo ideapad 320, his very old Toshiba was a much faster LT, but it gave up..

As I have my chums LT on the desk I did a pcmag test on it together with my PC at the same time, I also used a LAN cable in the LT to see the difference. The router is a couple of foot away. Supply is 3BB 1 GB... Download Mbps Upload Mbps PC 1000MB LAN card 800 305 LT 100MB LAN card 52 50 LT 150MB Wifi 92 43 Disappointing for the laptop....????
