Went to a party in Surin last week. My girlfriend knew days in advance i planned to leave early. On the morning she's running late, so there was no time for breakfast. We had planned to stop at a restaurant after the National Park in the mountains approximately half there. It is a 6 hour drive depending on your speed. Unfortunately i overshot the restaurant and had traffic behind me. I explained to her never mind we will crack on and eat in Surin when we get there. I got a grunt back.

Less there an hour later girlfriend's mood deteriorates really quickly, and making sounds like a seal being clubbed to death because she hadn't eaten for a few hours. Eventually she insisted on stopping at 7-11 for a snack. Are all thai girls like this ? where is their backbone ??

Monday morning dropped off affie form , Tuesday 2pm picked it up walked down the road crossed over the bridge had translation done 10 mins , caught sky train to Morchit taxi to Thai ministry building,

(same place that does Thai passports) got a ticket waited 15 mins then went to the amphur just up the road got married , by 4.15 all done and too easy,

Ps the lady who married us just asked a couple of questions that was that

Man what a HOLE

Still building the duty free No news agents crap food , No smoking Even took my lighter off me .

Then a Little Indian guy says you can pay for the Lounge 2000 Rupees and smoke but buy a beer as well. 450 Rupees for a fosters .

The place is a building site and no free WiFi (you were right crossy)

The airport does have loungers to stretch out on and free laptop and phone charging stations

But Jet airways was top notch .

I travelled in cattle, class the seats were more roomy than Qatar or Gulf and the food was realy good and loads of it, also the air crew did a good job, quick service ,

plenty of drinks and the in-flight entertainment was excellent , better pillows and blankets, it was just a shame that jet didn't let the 5 people that had the lay over into thier lounge.

And I cannot get the insurance company of a Toyota driver to replace me darn bumper after 9 weeks or so!!! Yet the insurance man said 'No problem!!'.

Well today my insurance guy came out took photos and filled in his forms ,then told me No loan car even though her insurance are paying, then said that they would book the car in but after songkran as they are very busy, My reply was that thier will be even long wait after Songkran if its like past years

But i was assured that mine was first on the list and will take a week .

by the way my car is a year old nissan pick up she hit me under the tail gate and ripped the panel to bits and my front bumper is wrecked as well from the lower spot lights right upto my head lights.
