  1. The question is so broad there are too many different answers. Sometimes circumstances change and you have to. There are certain countries that would not let your partner in if you weren't married, so people have to marry to get round that if they want to stay together. One of the main challenges in the west seems to be people change after marriage, usually because they have their own agenda. Women are 100 times worse than men in this respect I think.
  2. Well, I wouldn't go holding your breathe on that one. It was probably a fault of the traffic below for being there at that time. That's what they will angle towards or something like it.
  3. Do I need anti virus and firewall or is just one enough?
  4. Both countries are trying to improve things for their citizens. At least they are trying.
  5. Ok thanks, I shall take a look.
  6. Hi guys, I have been using Ubuntu for about a week now and I realized I don't have any defences, firewall, anti-virus and so on. Do you really need them with Linux or is that more a windows thing?
  7. In the end I had to settle for Ubuntu. Kali couldn't be installed from the flash drive I set it up on. Thanks for any help given.
  8. Well, they stitched him up good and proper. But the thing is, if we are contacted by spirits from the after world, they should tell us the right lottery numbers and not the wrong ones. Everyone knows that.
  9. Well, if you are going to smash up a shrine, that's a fairly good way to get revenge on those dastardly spirits and their dubious lottery number calls. Serves those spirits right for getting their shrine smashed up. They should do better next time.
  10. It's the same people who are to be held accountable or not.
  11. Well, I followed everything and still it does not install. What are my chances of going to somewhere like Pantip Plaza and finding someone who specializes in Linux, or on the site even?
  12. Thank you very much for your help. I have the ISO and a USB, just using Etcher. I was trying to use a VM machine but couldn't get it working.
  13. I thought it was customer sales stuff personally but I don't know.
  14. I've had a look and fixing wordpress issues or designing sites doesn't look like a very stable source of income.
  15. Is web design something you can make a steady career out of do you think?
  16. Thanks, I strongly suspect you are right there and I don't want to get sucked into just data entry stuff. I have around 5 years to train myself up but one of the challenges is working out which qualifications you need. I don't think I could do another degree or Masters degree but then you get requests for all kinds of qualifications that its hard to work out which the important ones are. I can put 3 years into training but I need to be studying on the right courses, and there I am rather lost.

    Installing Kali

Is there a store which specializes in installing Linux systems? I am going to need Kali and Linux Discreet but will need help with them as there are aspects I am not familiar with it. I am talking about Bangkok here, does anyone on this site offer such services? I'm afraid I can't quite do it by myself as I am just starting out.
  18. Is Cyber-testing a frequently advertised position?
  19. I'm not sure what you mean there.
  20. Hi there, I just wanted to ask what jobs people do if they work on line in Thailand. I am assuming that teaching on line is the main one, but what others are there. If I wanted to stay in Thailand and work on line, what are my best options to look at instead of teaching. Where should I go to look for them?
  21. Why would that arouse such suspicion?
  22. Greetings all. I am heading for a number of upgrades later in the year. I haven't been in thailand for a few years and wanted to know do any of the IT malls (for example Pantip) have stores or shops that specialize in Linux Installation? I made a complete mess of Zorin earlier in the year and can't remove it and so am going to start again, perhaps installing several systems. I would rather pay someone to do to it rather risk making the same mistakes myself. I did this once before in Pantip with Ubuntu but this was over 10 years now. All help appreciated.
