  1. I think they had no choice. Biden was too far gone. I'll never understand why they picked a George Costanza impersonator in Walz as their VP pick though. Must be a real dearth of talent over there. Fools gold.
  2. The fact she even did the interview shows me the Dems are panicking. They know it's slipping away and this was their final card. Unfortunately for them, Kamala's gonna Kamala. She can't win votes which is why she couldn't face a competitive nomination process. She'd have lost that as well. Roll on November. Hopefully, after defeat she will get back in the basement so we don't have to hear that grating, wobbling, whining voice, the fake accents and the cackling ever again.
  3. It seems her main defence to her incompetency and appalling record was "whatabout Trump though". So much in fact that I am starting to wonder if she's a poster on this forum.
  4. Just reduce unemployment benefits. Hunger will be an excellent motivation for them to put down the pizza and go get a job. Once working, the weight will drop off them and also improve their mental health. Plus with all the extra people in the workforce that will remove the excuse for allowing thousands of immigrants to come into the country to fill vacancies. Use the money saved on unemployment benefits to restore the winter fuel allowance. Win win. It's got to be better than leaving them on the couch munching obesity pills while immigrants come in to do the jobs they are too lazy to do and pensioners freeze to death on 13,000 pounds a year.
  5. Yeah, it's normally the Champagne socialists who know that it's the ordinary working class man who will see their neighbourhoods ruined while their leafy north London suburbs will remain the same.
  6. Incredible. Musk is a brilliant man and the US is lucky to have him. Let's hope he gets involved with Trump's new administration.
  7. I've gone to hotel rooms with people with no intention of having sex with them. Example, review a contract, pick up something, wait for them to get ready, use their bathroom etc. Even if she went with the intention of having sex she might have changed her mind when she got there if he got drunk, started doing drugs, became abusive, pushy or whatever. Going to a hotel with someone is not a contract to have sex with them.
  8. The UN is a talking shop. Cushy jobs for the boys. Toothless tiger. Disband it.
  9. Absolutely I do. He has 4 years experience as President during which time Americans were paying far less for essentials and the world was a much more peaceful place. Harris is clueless. That's why every time she is asked specifics she rolls out the "well let me start by saying I grew up in a middle class family" routine while never returning to answer the original question. Or we could look at the nonsense she spouted about Russia/Ukraine. Or on the border visit. Interviewer ; Have you been to the border? Harris ; I've been to the border Interviewer ; No you haven't Harris ; "And I haven't been to Europe" If it wasn't so serious it would be funny.
  10. Indeed. Jailed for being very rude on FaceBook. Meanwhile the guys who assaulted the female police officer at Manchester airport, breaking her nose in the process were not even charged. Thanks for pointing that out again. 2 tier justice can never be highlighted enough.
  11. Thanks Chomps, a useful post for once. Do try to keep it up. It was indeed Mr Dunn (not Mr Shelley) who was jailed for being offensive on FaceBook. Clearly they consider this a more serious offense than physically assaulting and breaking the nose of a female police officer at Manchester Airport, since those thugs haven't even been charged. Two tier justice under two tier free gear Keir.
  12. No surprise if true. Fairly typical behaviour of a BBC employee.
  13. More trouble in paradise as increasing numbers of members states grow tired of the EU's stance on uncontrolled immigration. https://europeanconservative.com/articles/news/eu-ministers-slam-dutch-plan-to-opt-out-of-migration-rules/
  14. The fact is they haven't released it. If you want to (pretend to) believe it's because she was so breathtakingly brilliant in the parts they removed that they fear for Trump's chances, you are entitled to do that. 😃
  15. I said "your" winter fuel allowance, referring to a collective group of people. I could also have used "their". But you already knew that.
  16. It's not an allegation that they haven't released it. That is a fact. My theory that it's because she looks like a complete muppet in the rest of the interview is a logical conclusion to that fact. Based on Harris being utterly useless and CBS being pro Harris.
  17. I was referring to British pensioners who have worked all their lives and now cannot afford to heat their homes due to Labour taking away the winter fuel allowance. I would have thought that was fairly obvious. It doesn't affect me directly. My residences in Thailand very rarely freeze. It's called empathy. Something Labour (and supporters of this policy) seem to possess very little of.
  18. Not odd at all. Why would a pro Dem channel leave out all the bits that make her look good?
  19. They could. And they should. The trouble is, the bits they already released are the best bits. And they were dire. So clearly the remainder of the drivel would affect her diminishing chances of winning even more. They are shilling for the left, plain and simple.
  20. At which point they remove your winter fuel allowance and you freeze to death.
  21. His name was Mr Shelley. He made a factually correct statement "coming to a town near you" (Rayner said it) and asked a legitimate question "when it's on your turf" (as Rayner promised it would be) "then what"? Save your time, we know what the judge said in 2 tier Britain as he sentenced the man to jail time for his temerity to ask questions about government policy. That's the problem, but highlight it if you wish, it only proves my point. We also know the guys who broke the female officers nose at Manchester Airport still haven't been charged. We all know why. https://www.thewestmorlandgazette.co.uk/news/24514302.sellafield-worker-jailed-sharing-offensive-facebook-posts/?mc_cid=092f174afd
  22. King Charles is an elderly man, recovering from cancer flying half way around the world to meet people. No matter their views, to refuse to meet him just shows how classless they are.
  23. Certainly when there are face to face threats to kill based on religion. Especially when they are followed with accelerating in a car towards to victim on the sidewalk and giving false details to police. Enquiring about/repeating a government ministers policy on Facebook? Not so much...
  24. Ridiculous. It's more dangerous walking the corridors of the BBC's broadcasting house, especially if you are a teenager looking for a start in journalism. Palin is better off out. I certainly wouldn't want the BBC on my CV.
