Not really Chomps.😆
We won the big one in November. Celebrating Carney's win in Canada is a bit like celebrating catching a worm in the net after a blue marlin jumped out.
Still, it's all you've got so crack on 😆.

Many young people, not just Muslim ones, are very unhappy about this, My son is one of them. Once a Labour member and considering standing for Office, he is now joining the liberals.
Maybe he should focus on issues affecting Britain.
Knife Crime. The NHS. Having Police on the street. The cost of living crisis. The loss of freedom of speech.
Too many British policitians focusing on what's happening half way around the world.

Would I be correct in assuming that this is another role that White people need not apply for?

Looks like the Canucks have cut off their nose to spite their face.
Good luck with Carney.

Well, in this case they would have to accept greater influence on the party. I'm not sure that it is their intention.
Are you insinuating they have principles of some type?

I'm fascinated by the place and would love to go up there.
It's a shame they don't do legal tours. I wouldn't want to risk legal/visa issues going up there illegally like this guy.

Our farm has Bananas, Mango, Coconuts, Rose Apple, Jack Fruit, Lemons, Lime, Guava, Tamarind, Longan, Dragon Fruit and lots of fish.
Most of it for personal consumption but we end up with too much so give a lot away to the villagers who don't annoy us or people who do work for us.
I want to get chickens next year and maybe some ducks but the GF isn't so keen due to noise/smell/mess.

The BBC should run some checks on the people who are publishing news articles on their site .
The BBC published it on their website, the BBC is responsible for that
I suspect they knew his views very well. That wouldn't be a problem for the BBC.
They just didn't know he had posted them so publicly. That's the issue here. That's why they've had to come out and "clarify" the situation with their faux outrage at the anti-semitic comments.

Labour will keep pandering to the Muslim voter base in the hope that it's enough to get them 4 more years at the trough.

Bad move.
Women don't always have great spatial awareness and they aren't always prepared to listen to instructions either. My girlfriend made a similar, less formal request to continue under "visual separation" (despite my warnings) before reversing over our 6 week old puppy. Fortunately, puppies legs are surprisingly flexible and she eventually made a full recovery.

Maybe time to drop all this net zero rubbish and worry about keeping the lights on?

I wonder how long before there is a new official Muslim/Islam party in the UK. I know we have the Islamic Party of Britain but they seem a bit old hat having been founded in the late 80's.
In the current political climate maybe it's time for a new one? They could call it BRAMAS or BREZBOLLAH or something similar. The party colours could be red, white, green and black. Maybe Ricky Jones could head it up with some sharp, "cutting edge" policies, with Humza Yousaf "scooting around" in the DEI Department.
It might be good to split the left wing vote.

Yes, it's almost like they're gaslighting us, isn't it...
The Tories should have defunded them when they had the chance. Because there is no chance Labour is going to defund their own propaganda wing. Especially while their views on Gaza/Hamas are so closely aligned with those of the BBC.

Just stop with the dumb act!
Thailand is NOT the USA.
Thailand needs foreign guest workers and makes it easy for them to work in Thailand legally in the millions.
Completely different national situations.
You get all anal about "law abiding" when you know perfectly well exactly what I mean -- their behavior while in the US REGARDLESS of their immigration situation.
I can't be bothered with your endless pointless dumb acting noise any further.
You can like a toddler who has no cabability of getting any nuance. Not believable.Your argument appears to be, "Well - if you ignore all the laws they are clearly breaking, then they are law abiding".
And you call ME "dumb"? 😆

No, I really don't.
Do you mean you consider someone who breaks into a country illegally, stays illegally, works illegally and pays no tax is "law abiding"?
If so, would you apply this same logic to a foreigner working illegally without a visa in Thailand? Or is this one of those special classifcations that leftists have for minority illegals in the US?

Just stop it. You know what I mean. Don't act so stupid. Being productive people regardless of their immigration status.
There is nothing stupid about pointing out the facts.
People who illegally enter a country and then work without a visa/work permit are not law abiding. Quite the opposite in fact. They are breaking many fundamental laws.

14 minutes ago, save the frogs said:The govts want pensioners to keep pumping money into the local economy.
The government should not tell pensioners where/what to spend their money on. They paid money into the system all their lives. They should get the benefit at the end of it, no matter where they retire.
14 minutes ago, save the frogs said:Since you are spending all your pension in Thailand, this is one way of punishing people for not contributing to the local economy in the UK.
Well, I am not even close to being a pensioner and I chose to invest privately rather than into the state system. As UK government's become increasingly dishonest, increasing the retirement age and then freezing the already woeful UK pension for foreign retirees, I am quite pleased with my decision. My financial future is not dicated by dishonest British politicians.
14 minutes ago, save the frogs said:Call it what you will. They see it as unfair that all pension money is being spent in another country.
It's just an excuse to limit the payouts after years of paying in. Immoral is what I call it.

Just going on what you have posted on this and previous threads.
There is a common theme, you dislike people who have been successful. It's a common trait amongst the left so there's no need to feel alone.

Labour Faces Ongoing Threat From Gaza-Backed Independents in Local Elections

Captain Obvious to the rescue. 😆
Nobody has said otherwise. But domestic issues should always take priority over pontificating about events thousands of miles away.
Of course, it's much easier to get on a soapbox about Palestine and Ukraine than it is to fix the NHS or the issues with UK housing/education. Which is why they do it. Some suckers lap it up...
