    Thanks for sharing...

Have been trying to search for actual tape of exactly what was said

Is it tasteless .. Sure... Is it likely to offend some .. Sure..

Is worse heard in any sports locker room, army barracks, frat house, bar room, weekly poker game, golf course , ect... Sure...

Is it good thing for anyone to have said, especially if taped and can be heard publicly.. Of course not..

Does it offend me , not so much..

He basically said, I tried to hit on a married woman and she shot me down no matter how hard I tried..

Secondly, I better eat a tic tac, as may end up kissing some of the girls on set of the soap opera.. As usually if rich and famous .. Girls will let you do what ever you want to them..

Which is usually true.. If everyone is speaking the truth.. But not always the case...

As his own story about the married lady he was hitting on shot him down hard no matter what how hard he tried..

Am I voting for Trump, don't think so.. But not because of this ...

To be honest, may end up sitting this election out...

  3. Lostinissan

Agree with you that Meth is not a good thing and even if Legalized or decriminalized , I ain't using it...

This being said, I still believe in decriminalization of drugs..

Because in my opinion , drug use and addiction is a medical issue not a criminal issue

Addicts belong in rehab not jail.

Also one of the biggest problems with the drug trade is that it is controlled by criminals

If controlled by the government, they can regulate better and control purity and dosage better

Also can be highly taxed and hopefully that money can be used for various rehab projects

  4. I'll admit, was a bit surprised that the first drug to legalize or decriminalize would be meth...

although after ter reading the article, understand that here in Thailand this is likely one of the most used drugs

Also possession of small amount of Meth is such a huge percentage of what prisoners have been locked away for

given this, maybe not such a huge surprise that discussion is starting with Meth

  5. Watch this watchcharaters then comment, the EU is on the verge of collapes anyway, this will push it over

    [/url]Nothing about immigration

    Real eye opener...

From USA, so not really follow EU or Brexit, but after watching this video, completely agree with the Brexit voters

Well worth taking an hour out of your life to watch this video... Nothing to do with racism or bigotry.. It a pure economic argument to leave the EU

  6. True, however consider the benefits western multinationals provide client countries: elimination of local industry competition, pay no taxes and provide a few low skill jobs. Governments in the past have been overthrown as western multinationals didn't like the treatment they were getting.

Chinese industry has made China a pollution nightmare, hope they aren't here just to escape tightening regulations back home.

Actually a lot of them are trying to get around anti dumping issues

As many of the Chinese manufactures facing quotas and anti dumping tax if manufacture in China but if I'm Thailand or Vietnam or other place they are investing .. Then they can avoid such

This is of course not the only reason or the complete reason, but a major factor

Say what you like about the Chinese, but they are savvy business persons

Throughout history, look to where every the Chinese immigrate or settle down and they grow and take over economies over generations

  7. There is not a lot of difference but may be people are just getting fed up of the whole muslim thing

May be folk don't like the fact that when they live in a country they try to take over areas so its only them living there, or they try to introduce sharia law, or the spreading of hate in the countries that house them and give them money, or converting Churches into mosques, or they want muslim only schools (fantastic for integration...not), or the fact that they don't really like to integrate, or that they like to drag the countries down to the same gutter level as the ME crap holes they or their ancestors came from, or may be its the way they look at Western Women as pieces of meat because they don't walk about in a penguin suit all day or walk 10 feet behind or in front of the husband.  Or it could even be that they try to ruin the way of live where the Kafir live.

Or may be even the way they are doing terrorist atrocities all across Europe.

All these things that they try and do in Western countries,,,I would like to see it happen the other way round and Westerners try to do the same in ME holes, but not a chance in hell it would happen.  But don't worry its fine for them to come and inflict their rules on use

Oh and I forgot to add, lets not speak up against it or voice our opinion because if you do then you are a racist, bigot, xenophobe and whatever other drivel people want to use. Very easy words to use when things don't go your way or you don't agree with things.  This is probably why Europe is the way it is?

Lets face it...if they don't like the way Europe operates its laws and systems they can always Move!  Fat chance of that happening though, too much welfare and voicing of options to be had

I agree that some of those issues you have raised in the above post are the REAL challenges...

So rather than banning Burkinis, why not find ways to address the real issues

Let's address the substance and find real solutions... Banning burkini doesn't do that and is just ridiculous

  8.

    Exactly.

Whether its a hoodie with sunglasses or a motorcycle helmet or a ski mask...they do not belong in a public place. My bank requires that I remove my sunglasses and ballcap when I enter the premises. I support this.

But a burkini doesn't cover your face?

    So would be more like...

Your bank want to see your face, so they don't allow you to where a long sleeve shirt and long pants...

    Does that make sense?

Just because the name sounds similar to Burka, doesn't mean it is the same thing

The below is a burkini... Clear now?

  9. If not banning wetsuits ... Then what is to stop women from wearing the same thing and saying it's not a 'burkini' ... It's a 'wetsuit'

would a rose by any other name...

this seems like a over reaction and style over substance ..implemented without thought

how does it combat terrorism? It doesn't in any way solve or address the problem... Just fans the flames

  10. you confuse democracy with majority. Given the OP opinion, if a majority of his countrymen decided to find him and kick his ass, it would be a just and democratic act.

Lucky for him Democracy is the will of the majority, tempered by a constitution, laws, norms and mores .

    Agreed..

Most established Democracies have systems in place to protect society from becoming a tyranny of the majority.

  11. Pirate bay closed down? Used it just a couple of hours ago. But usual use private torrent sites. And, if ever, it would take a long time to beat down piracy.

    http://www.abc.net.au/news/2016-07-21/how-the-us-government-brought-down-kickass-torrents/7649862

    Interesting article.

So Pirate Bay back up and running again?

    https://www.engadget.com/2014/12/16/pirate-bay-shutdown-explainer/

Was basing on previous news articles, like above link

To be honest, prefer to pay a reasonable fee and watch legally

Since could use services like Netflix, Iflix, CBS app , Primetime, Hollywood HDTV in Thailand... Don't download torrents anymore

I agree with the final comments in the above article , quoted below

    -----

....Sure, you're going to have a minority of folks who'll pirate anything and everything as their own means of anarchy, but for the most part, by offering an all-around better legal experience (not having to worry about downloading a virus; better video quality) most people aren't going to bother pirating in the first place. Much like it did with the music industry, piracy has forced Hollywood to examine why we were circumventing their protocols in the first place and adjust as such.

  12. The use of "surreal" to describe her impression of the Republican Convention is tragically comedic. After all, the whirlwind cognitive dissonance that has accompanied Hillary's entire public life and her immunity to prosecution can aptly be described as "surreal," like Edvard Munch's The Scream.

...unreal, fantastic, bizarre, dream like (and not a good one).

Christie whipping up the BURN THE WITCH chant wasn't exactly real real, dude. They're fascists and now they're out of the closet fascists. That could be good if there are enough Americans educated enough about history to know what that means to allow them total power.

I was not aware of that. No, I do not wrap that into my approval fold. I think it is unsat! Totally.
    Burn the witch???

Wasn't it actually "Lock her up" ?

Referring to opinion that Hillary has done something illegal and deserves to be prosecuted for it?

Understand some may not agree that she should be prosecuted, but do not believe that anyone was calling her a "witch" or saying she should be "burned" or "killed"

    Which is big difference

  13. Kick ass torrent.. Closed down... Pirate bay... Closed down..

It's only a matter of time until the illegal free sites are all taken down

I don't mind paying a reasonable amount to watch legally

And as far as I'm concerned, iflix and Netflix are reasonably priced

Both are good for tv series but no so good for movies

Although if you like movies, should try primetime or Hollywood hdtv.. Both available in Thailand

  14. You can use your US Netflix account in Thailand

I use mine since Thai Netflix opened, no need to cancel or open a new account

Also have Iflix account, which is 100 Thb a month as well

There is some overlap, but a number of shows that only on one or the other..

So in my opinion worth having both..

Although between the two so many series that even if I quit my job and turned into a 24/7 couch potato likely couldn't watch everything

Only downside is no app for iflix on apply tv .. So have to use app on iPhone and then AirPlay when watching iflix

So smart tv would likely be easier to watch both

  15. Am I the only one that finds this a bit ridiculous?

The words that were 'stolen' are all some of the biggest cliches that have heard a million times and probably said to my own kids a few times already..

It's not as if we are talking about anyone's unique research or findings..

    -----quote----

In one example, Mrs. Trump said: "From a young age, my parents impressed on me the values that you work hard for what you want in life, that your word is your bond and you do what you say and keep your promise, that you treat people with respect."

Eight years ago, Mrs. Obama said: "And Barack and I were raised with so many of the same values: like, you work hard for what you want in life, that your word is your bond, that you do what you say you're going to do, that you treat people with dignity and respect."

    --------

I'm a bit turned off on the election now and junk like this doesn't help

Many saying should just accept Hillary, but with this silliness...

  16. She's definitely not going to jail. But her already tarnished image has been additionally tarnished. It is fair game for the republicans to attack her based on her email behavior. The question really is how important it is when considering all other issues for both candidates. It's not going to change any supporters already for HRC. It's more about those that are still undecided.

I do agree with all you have said, but didn't want to Like it... as despite what FBI may have said, I believe that if the same facts and some random lower employee of state department or DOD did the same they would likely have been prosecuted

There are countless cases of those with less power doing less being prosecuted ... But no one near to power of a Secretary of State or a likely president

In this case, believe Comey was afraid to prosecute as if he had recommended to prosecute .. Pretty sure he would have ended up being destroyed.

Also the reality is that everyone from high to low must have known about the email situation from beginning.. But pretty sure Hillary's stance was don't ask and yu can't be told no...

Also as no one call her out on it, likely out of fear, as no one messes with Hillary. But because of that, they would have all been liable as well.

The reality is that it was just too big with to many powerful people knowing about what was happening B with no one saying anything..

This was never going to end in a conviction

Guessing Comey could see this and decided not to destroy his own life

But that doesn't mean that it was all a good thing and believe it does and should hurt Hillary's image with undecided voters

  17. The Presidents Executive Power is about the only branch of the US Government that hasn't been corrupted. After the human tortoise McConnell colluded to block ANY Obama legislation in Congress it was the only way Obama could initiate any change. Very short memory when Republicans continually blocked Supply Bills and on one occasion bought the US Government to a standstill.

Certainly isn't an issue Bernie endorsed. A corrupted Congress and Electoral influence peddling and the politically aligned Supreme Court absolutely.

The next step for Bernie is to negotiate a truce, see Trump and hopefully the Republican Party in its entirety on its way. It will not be until after the election in November when the deal Bernie strikes with Obama and Hillary on Thursday is known. I dare say Bernie will have a well deserved and comfortable retirement nest egg.

So you think it was all an act and Bernie is just as corrupt as the rest of them?

I hope you are proved wrong on that...

Although do agree that no matter what I think it want... It is clear that Hillary has won the democratic nomination.

Also agree that Bernie will come out and say Hillary is better than Trump, but I'm not sure I agree with that.

So now I just watch and see how it all pans out... If Hillary looses... Then can have a Som Nom Na moment...
