I know this has been asked before but looking for up to date information. I emailed Bangkok Pattaya Hospital and they now want an eye watering 35k plus doctors fees, madness. I emailed Bangkok International Hospital and they didn't reply, twice. Any other options? Many thanks in advance. P.S. Please don't fill the thread with old information or opinions about whether or not it's a good idea, just post if you have recent experience of vasectomy in the Chonburi/East Coast area.

Hi, I would like to replace the old stereo in my car with an android based screen. Any recommendations of companies that can supply and fit them here in Pattaya? Many thanks in advance.

Thanks.

One that needs a glass front, hence the question.
-
Hi All, Looking for recommendations for a company that can provide a glass frontage for the following: Don't need or want UPVC, just the standard glass that most shops here use - I presume there must be at least a couple of specialist companies doing it at sensible prices that most people use as most shops have it. Many thanks in advance.

Indoor weed grown under lights in this country costs around 25-35 Baht a gram to produce to a high standard. If you scale you can go cheaper but then it's harder to control the quality, but for domestic growing that is what you pay to grow indoors. Outdoor can obviously be much cheaper, but it's harder to get a successful crop.

Time for a new mattress, my back tells me. Anybody got/seen a good deal on one recently and can share the info, save me pointlessly visiting every furniture shop in Pattaya... Def do not want to buy this on Lazada or Shopee, before anyone mentions that. Thanks in advance.

If you want to know who flies into any airport in the World simply Google the airport name followed by wiki then scroll down to Airlines and destinations. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/U-Tapao_International_Airport The Wiki pages seem to be pretty up date although obviously some of the newer routes might not be there. Cheers.

There are no known issues currently taking cannabis flower or cannabis plants on domestic flights. This is now very well established, you may find an airline check in person that wants to question it but as many people have pointed out calling for a supervisor will quickly sort it as all mid-level and above airline staff seem to know the score. However, here's where you could potentially have an issue: 1. Saying that you are taking it to sell in the destination city. Nothing to do with the cannabis, just that it's possible that you could fall foul of some weird permit rule on transporting goods for sale, although you would have to very seriously annoy the check in staff before that would become an issue. 2. Having too much on you and going over your weight allowance. Been there, done that and had some hard decisions to make about what to leave behind.... 3. Not sealing the packaging properly and it absolutely stinking.... Not exactly sure what would happen here but potentially as with durian fruit there must be a limit to this what you can and can't take on a plane, smell wise. Although as with everything, a big smile, lot's of na khrup and the occasional Wai to people that look they are are in charge will most likely remove any of the above potential issues. ????

Whereas calibrating a PH meter with milk makes you look like a really experienced grower. ????
-
I'll answer my own question to save time - you have no idea that it is 6.5 to 6.7 because you would need a properly calibrated ph pen to estbalish this. Here is the milk I just pulled from my fridge: That PH pen is properly calibrated using Buffer 4 & 7, shown in the background. I can say with 99% certainty that that milk is 6.8 PH. However, when you are doing it you are guessing, if the milk is a bit out then so is your pH pen. Plus you need to calibrate at two points on the pH Pens, not one - especially on the cheaper pens. The OP has a Bluelab PH pen and the proper calibration fluid by the looks of it - you don't. I know you are trying to help but please, stop telling people this is an acceptable way to calibrate a PH pen, it is absolutely no such thing. You need this: https://shopee.co.th/Buffer-Solution-ph-4.01-±-0.05-30°C-Buffer-Solution-ph-7.0-±-0.05-30°C(น้ำยาคาริเบต)-จำนวน-1-คู่-i.37354102.8404005356 Use it once a week, most ph pens will drift around 0.2-0.4 within that timeframe if used daily - they usually drift upwards. Cheers.

How do you know it's 6.5 - 6.7?

@Siam_Sam - you are on the right path. ???? In terms of terms nutrients @stoner recommendation is good - the nutrient from Exotic Chillis Thailand is effective and well priced. Also Nutra Hydro is another local manufacturer and most people that use it seem to be happy. If you want imported nutrient blends you can't go wrong with Dutch Pro on their Lazada or Shopee store. Athena are here also but not that user friendly, imho. @BritManToo - which milk are you using to calibrate your meter?
-
Thanks, that put me on the right path. I think this should do it: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07TB9C36N/ref=sspa_dk_detail_3

I need one that pressurises a system to a PSI then shuts off, rather than does constant output in the case of a pond pump.
-
Hi, I am trying to find a pump that works with constant pressure like a a household water pump, but that can be turned right down to 10 PSI (most household pumps don't go much below 25-30 PSI from what I can see). It's not actually for a house, it's for a different application, but I thought somebody on here might know how to override the power on a standard household pump or perhaps know of another solution... Many thanks in advance.

It's got nothing to do with evaporation - once you stabilise the water content level in dry cannabis flower it does not change much. In a vacumn sealed bag that is referred to in the youtube video - how could it? https://sensiseeds.com/en/blog/how-to-increase-terpenes-in-cannabis-plants/ "In the first few weeks, the levels of cannabinoids and terpenes will decrease. After a few weeks, these levels will start to increase. Usually, around week eight, the terpenes are at their lowest during the curing process. But after the 8th week, they begin to rise again, even above the levels of the freshly cut plant." This is well know to just about anybody that has ever properly cured a cannabis plant. You are quoting Dr Bruce Bugbee from Apogee Instruments, I have watched most of his videos and read a few of his papers. Some are good, some are not. Primarily though his focus is measuring photons as that what Apogee instruments does and it pays much better than his day job at the university. I think you are referencing the time he talked about the 48-72 hours darkness before chop as being bro-science. This was then followed up with Chris on the popular Garden Talk podcast where he talked about this and how people started giving their plants 24 hours light a day for a week or so before chopping them to try to increase the terpenes just before harvest. However, he simply stated that he could not see the mechanism where giving the plant less light at the end of flowering would increase the terpene level, as you correctly say, photosynthesis (including terpene production) is driven by light. There was absolutely no testing or science and his statement was (very) surprising considering the sheer amount of people that did this because they had trailed it on their plants and found benefits. To be fair he did say that he thought that there could be a connection between the lights being off and therefore the room having a lower temperature during this time, which does make sense. However, he also said that because of a small observational study in Japan that in a blind taste test people preferred weed that had not been flushed over weed that had been flushed just prior to chop. Again, not tested other than a small coca cola vs pepsi challenge type thing that goes against decades of people flushing their plants at the end of the growing cycle to make the smoke smoother - he honestly comes up with some pretty weird stuff at times. He made absolutely no reference at all in the first video he did, or the follow up on Garden Talk, about the increase in terpenes that happens after about week 8-10 in the curing process (which again has nothing to do with evaporation). This has absolutely nothing to do with CBD and sleep being placebo affect - they are both to do with pain. Look - you clearly are into this subject and some of the stuff you post is interesting to read. But please quit making statements of fact unless you can back it up with solid research data. I would also caution you against calling yourself a scientist, you very may well be a World leading scientist in some field of research but in the field of cannabis cultivation and extraction you are very clearly not. All the best. -

Agreed - hard science is what we need and in the case of CBD not helping sleep there is no hard science that says it doesn't - again unless you link to studies that show that it has been tested? Saying that you read studies and you are a scientist, does not a scientist make. As for terpenes: https://www.ganjapreneur.com/researchers-reveal-how-curing-cannabis-affects-terpene-levels https://youtu.be/y1n4OJTW0Lw Both of these links very clearly show that cannabis flower is biologically active months and capable of increasing terpene levels after harvest. Some terpenes go down, some go up. To say you cannot create more is totally wrong - it happens. I welcome feedback and debate but you are simply stating facts that are in some cases not backed up by any kind of research, or in the case of terpene synthesis you are simply wrong. A more useful and helpful approach would be to quote from well researched studies that clearly support your statements of fact. This is my last comment on the matter, over and out. -

Here it is: Their testing said that total terpene content was higher at 16 weeks than it was when the plant was harvested. Must try that sometime... -

I thought that terpenes kept evolving during the curing process (when properly done) with peak terpene being around 3 months from the end of drying? I'll see if I can find the video on the testing that was done, it was pretty robust testing and very interesting. -
Required strength CBD oil for a good night sleep
tomster replied to Kenny202's topic in Thailand Cannabis Forum
CBD isolate works pretty well for me but I often (not always) smoke a little bit of THC at the same time as taking the drops, which def does seem to help with the getting to sleep bit. Moreover, most people I have met say that THC gets you to sleep, CBD increases the quality when you are asleep, which seems to be the case for me. I googled CBD and sleep - there was nothing saying that CBD didn't help with sleep, there was just plenty out there saying it just hasn't been properly tested. Do you have any links to properly done studies that show CBD only has a placebo effect on sleep? Would be very interested to read that research. Also, I get my male cancer markers tested every 6 months or so and they have been going down since I started taking CBD daily, without changing much else in life other than a tablespoon of extra virgin olive oil per day. Still drink far too much and don't move enough, sadly. -

This one is good value for money: https://happylyfe.in.th/product/wellness-retreat/cbd-oil-sundara-organic-30ml/ For dosage start low with the recommendations on the packaging and work your way up until you hit your sweet spot. @stoner may also have some good input on this, he knows a lot about CBD extracts in Thailand. -
Trying to get my sodium intake down due to high blood pressure. Sometimes it would be nice to get a snack from 7/11 or lotus Express that is low sodium, but struggling find much with the exception of fresh fruit, which I already eat plenty of. Any ideas?

And neither platform will let you block, for want of a better description, a specific (hopeless in your area) courier. So if you are in an area where Kerry, Flash or JT are having issues, which seem to be pretty common in many areas now, you need to ask the seller to not use that courier before you place the order. Headache. Having a great example of Shopee weirdness now. Ordered a computer on Friday, delivery was quoted as by Shopee Express. The shop said next day delivery so waited until 4pm then had to out, 4:15pm they called and we told them please deliver tomorrow instead (said in Thai by a Thai). Around 10am the next morning I checked the status of the order to make sure it was out for delivery and there was an entry in the tracking saying that due to unsuccessful delivery on Friday the item was being returned to the sender in Bangkok...! Absolute schoolboy stuff. The seller has given up trying to work it our with Shopee and resent it today with Flash, should get it Thursday. Compare and contrast with Lazada's own express delivery service - ordered some headphones on a lazy Sunday afternoon around 4pm and they turned up 10am Monday morning (although the product was in the Lazada warehouse as opposed to a third party sellers shop, so not really comparing apples with apples there)! Shopee do seem to have less English listings though and less reliable courier services, based on the last 6 months of buying from them. Both are good, until they aren't...
