Does this apply to both shareholders and directors and what happens to these positions afterwards - they are left vacant?

Theoretical question. Lets say you opened a Limited company with a couple of friends that you thought were cool and ended up being both a shareholder and director of said company for a while. Things then went South and you need to find a way to remove yourself from the equation, but the other shareholders don't want to make it easy and there is nobody that can take over either role from you. I presume there must be a legal framework for this - does anybody know what it is? Thanks in advance.

Hi, I have a company that needs to change it's registered address (current building is being sold), the company is active but there is no need for anything other than mail forwarding as the products the company sells are stored and dispatched by a fulfillment centre in Bangkok. There is no VAT requirement currently. Just looking for the cheapest options, Townhouses are an option but they seem to start are 10-12k, ideally we could find something cheaper than that. Company is registered for tax in Pattaya so would like to keep it here if possible to save the headache of moving to a new tax office. Thanks in advance.

When I opened the bank account for Company A, KBank explicitly wanted my work permit. Might just have been an overzealous member of staff but they definitely wanted it. Hence my question. But you seem pretty sure that it's not required, so that helps me relax a bit, thanks for your feedback.

So here is my situation. I have a work permit on a company that is registered in Pattaya, lets say Company A. This is due to be renewed in July, but I will cancel this and get a new work permit on Company B which will be based in Chiang Mai (currently it's registered in Pattaya). At the moment my girlfriend is director of company B and is signing for everything as we set the company up. This has caused a lot friction and I really want to get her off as director at Company B and me on as the director so I can sign at the bank, customs etc. I have asked the accountant if it's OK to do this and he has said yes, I can be the director of Company B without the work permit. I will get the work permit in July anyway and could sort it earlier if needs be but it will be much more convenient in July. So, my question is will the bank let me sign as director of Company B if my work permit is with Company A? And the same with governmental institutions such as customs etc. Many thanks in advance.

Hi, I have an invoice I need to pay to a company in Australia from my Thai company. I have business banking with Kbank. Because the invoice is in USD and must be received in USD, I can't use the international transfer option on KBIZ (Kbank's online banking service). Deemoney will only send it as Thai Baht so that doesn't work either. I can pay it if I go to the one Kbank branch in Pattaya where they do international payments, but I need to get a copy of my DBD paperwork etc, proper headache. Does anybody know of a service that will let me pay an invoice in Australia in USD from Thailand? Thanks in advance.

Hi, I just had the battery changed on my phone and the phone was reset as part of the process. I have redownloaded the DLT Drivers license app and done the usual enter passport and email to get login pin, as before. That all went well but when I try to open the page to show the digital version of my Drivers License I just get a spinning loading thing -the drivers license won't load. Has anybody had the same problem and worked out how to fix it? Thanks in advance.

Hi, I am in the process of importing some items that require a fair bit of back and forth with customs to make sure we have the correct paperwork in place. We were using a logistics company that had a farang in charge of the customs office, but he has had to suddenly leave the country and I don't trust his staff to do what I need without him there. Does anybody know of a decent logistics company that has a farang manager overseeing the customs clearance side of things? Many thanks in advance.
