  1. Yeah, that sounds like some drops I have had before. I ended up doing 7 drops throughout the night and went to sleep fine. Woke up 7:30am, got the kids packed and ready for school, off they went then about 30 minutes later it hit me like a sledgehammer - horrible experience. Got kinda straight at about 6pm that night, never ever again. But that is absolutely not CBD drops, these drops are mostly probably infusions of whole flower that have THC and CBD in there, I avoid these like the plague now. Try getting a gram of that Raksa and making a small joint out of it, try a few puffs first and see how you feel, work up from there. There are some strains that have mostly CBD and just a touch of THC for the entourage effect thingy, they are the ones to focus on. Plus the CBD makes you sleep great.
  2. I have much the same background as you, and the same problem with THC weed. However, I can smoke/consume CBD with no problem at all and it has been a game changer for my health - I love the stuff. When you say you tried CBD do you mean you smoked a CBD joint, or you had some drops? I have bought some "CBD Flower" before (just after legalisation) and it absolutely destroyed me, I was in all sorts of trouble like you describe above. So it might have been high CBD but it was also carrying quite a bit of THC. However, since then I have found a couple of strains that are fine, gentle body hit and none of the crazy head stuff. The strains are Cherry White from Lampang Farm and Raska from Golden Triangle Group - both are fine for me. Hope that helps. Cheers.
  3. It's confusing as he should be marked as a site sponsor and isn't, for whatever reason.
  4. HID lights work just fine here in rooms that have aircon. LED bar style lights and some quantum boards are more efficient but are always more expensive than HID. I am not saying that HID are better than LED - it is now well established that LED's are more efficient and grow great weed. However, they are the single most expensive part of an indoor grow setup and you do not need them to grow yourself some nice weed - millions of people have done so with HID and they will continue to be relevant for years to come. An almost perfect analogy for this is that just like electric cars are regarded as being the future of cars, you can't say that gas/petrol powered cars do not get the job done. The cheapest LED light that can replace a 600W HID is something like this: https://www.lazada.co.th/products/mars-hydro-led-marshydro-mars-tsw3000-led-full-spectrum-hydroponic-led-grow-light-bar-ts3000-450w-tsw-3000-i2024696569-s6536894876.html Price is around 13k normally. The link I posted is 4k with HPS and Metal Halide lamps. If you are looking to get started for as cheap as possible (in an aircon environment) then a simple 600W HID system is fine and in many cases easier to use and just as productive as LED - the final quality of weed may also be better than LED. You absolutely do not need to spend 13k on an LED light to grow great weed - the 4k HID light above is fine to get you started.
  5. These do not need to be used with a cool tube - aircon is fine and readily available.
  6. The vast majority of people growing under lights indoors in Thailand are using aircon - the ambient temperature here is hot not to if you want to grow premium weed.
  7. Hi Bradiston, Can I ask what the name of your Allianz policy is? I am looking at their My Health policy and it covers 8 million including illness or accident (I think). Trying to get clarity on this as it seems like your cover with them is limited on the accident side of things. The policy I am looking at is 58k though which is obviously quite expensive. Cheers.
  8. Just seen these and wanted to share: https://www.lazada.co.th/products/lucius-lighting-600w-grow-light-kit-600w-hps-bulb-i4162996239.html Can be used with metal halide lamps also: https://www.lazada.co.th/products/philips-master-hpi-t-250w400w-e40-4500k-metal-halide-i1624444663-s4465326986.html At about 4k THB inc the halide that offers a really well priced start up alternative to LED's. Disclaimer - I haven't bought and used this grow light yet so I would pay cash on delivery if you order it, but as it's the first time that I've seen the a complete grow light sold with ballast, lamp and reflector I wanted to share it (normally you have to buy everything separately and the reflector was very hard to get). Hope that helps some peeps.
  9. You should work out what you paid in total and state it. Also, will you sell the individual items or will only sell all together? 2x4 grow tents are not a popular size but the rest of the stuff should sell easily.

  11. But what happens when supply top shelf is significantly greater than demand, which is where we are very rapidly headed? At the end of the day growing great weed is a fairly simple, step by step process when you have easy access to good hardware and growing help. Cali import now 300-400 Baht if that, once the local market catches up with their growing knowledge then they will also grow excellent weed - many of the organic growers already do albeit a little bit slower in turnaround than the more experienced cash croppers. I'm very skeptical that anything over 250 Baht per gram (retail) for top shelf will be possible outside of the tourist areas by the end of the year, and the tourist areas already have a lot of (possibly too many) dispensaries. Interesting times ahead... ????
  12. With respect BritManToo - an open tent is just Mylar and somewhere to hang your light. Correctly set up grow tents are controlled environments, very different animals... ???? Happy grows!
  13. Not sure if this is the right place to put this but wanted to suggest a new sub forum. The Thailand Cannabis Forum could do with a sub forum for growing cannabis. In time it will become a great resource but at the moment all the posts are mixed with general cannabis talk and it's very noisy - if you are only interested in the growing side of things (or not interested in that at all) it would be much better to have a separate sub-forum to follow just for that. Thanks in advance.
  14. Yes, very normal, there are lots of different techniques for this depending on the size of you growing area. As this grow is in pots over a wide-ish area once is probably enough as supporting them gets tricky but in a grow tent twice would be very normal. https://www.maximumyield.com/topping-and-low-stress-training/2/17562
  15. The plants were in the dark for around 8 hours. I didn't put any air holes in the box, if they would have been in there overnight I would of. They were totally fine with the whole process, I on the other hand needed a valium - even though there should not have been a problem you never know here and there were police and immigration everywhere at the airport, it was not the most relaxing flight I have ever taken!
  16. Wet trimming is "brutal" - can you clarify what you mean by that?
  17. Good lights. Not anytime soon in Thailand. ????
  18. Your grows are 22 weeks? Did you mean 12 weeks? Drying around 5 days plus 2-4 weeks cure is pretty standard but obviously depends on your technique and desperation to smoke the final product...????
  19. A plant obviously has no knowledge of where it is. "Top Shelf" is a term applied to well grown weed that has a good terpene profile, excellent trichomes and a desirable effect when consumed. Co2 (and other forms of carbon supplementation) help drive plants but to suggest that top shelf weed cannot be grown with C02 supplementation is simply untrue, I am happy to argue with you on this because I know from vast experience that most top shelf is not grown with CO2. Some is, but that is not what makes it top shelf. I owned a grow shop for 14 years and helped hundreds of people grow top shelf weed, less than 1% used CO2. Some of it was truly insanely good cannabis that dwarfs anything being grown here yet and these growers almost never used CO2 supplementation. Happy to debate it further but let's take it to private messages, if so. ???? Cheers.
  20. You are absolutely on the right path but you should be thinking in micromoles rather than lumens. A great explanation of the terms here: This guy really breaks it down well and introduces the concepts of PPFD and how it can be used to calculate DLI, the really important number. When you get PPFD you can understand the product descriptions for grow lights much better, from there you can choose grow lights that have the power to drive the plants to a decent yield. A lot of LED lights don't have enough blue spectrum for veg phase, but it's easy to add. As a rough guide Mars Hydro lights tend to be spectrally correct, you can't go too far wrong with that brand.
  21. Ah right, gotchya. But still, you absolutely do not need CO2 to grow top shelf weed, the vast majority of top shelf is grown without it. It's excellent if you can use it but this thread is for a grower just starting out, recommending CO2 could possibly put him off needlessly. @stoner by the way I watched this video yesterday, loads of stuff there about Co2 (and the move to carbon based nutrients) I didn't know, well worth a watch:
  22. Hi Mate, My girlfriend packaged them - it was a thing of wonder. The only photo I have is this: The plants were in 8cm coir pots that I always use, they drop straight into the growing medium without the need for transplanting as the roots go straight through them. On top of the growing medium was a layer of plastic sheet scrunched up then taped down, the pot was then wrapped in a ziplock bag and taped up. It was then wrapped in cardboard. The end result was that you could turn them upside down and shake them, nothing can move. We put 24 in a box and it was full, no room to move at all - It took 2 hours to 24 plants so not a quick job, but well worth it. Because they were so well packed there were zero issues with them and they hit the ground running when they went into the growing medium - here they are 48 hours after landing in Chiang Mai: I guess some people will ask where I got the lights from, I fortunately had the reflectors lying around from my time when I owned the grow shop in the UK - the date on them is 2011... ???? There are actually 2 more in the room as well, we just didn't turn them on yet as it would have been a waste of leccy. As they grow out the other lights will be turned on and they will be spaced out accordingly, along with LED panels on the walls to introduce some extra spectrum to the halide and hps lamps. The plants are Critical Haze, they are 25 days from taking the cutting and have been pinched once already. Hope that helps.
  23. Not sure what this means, sorry?
  24. Thanks.
  25. You def need aircon but def do not need need Co2, the vast majority of grows are done without it. You do however need a good extractor fan (and carbon filter), you can pretty much leave this running 24/7 and let the aircon control the temperature. You will need a dehumidifier from week 3 of flowering onwards otherwise you will probably get bud rot. However, it's good to use them all the way through as the humidity is currently around 70-80% and cannabis prefers it in the 40-60% range. If you want to grow with a decent LED light, 120cm x 120cm tent, and all the gubbings be prepared to spend about 40-50k depending on how posh you go with the accessories.
